The customer service was outstanding. From the very first consultation I was very happy with Darryl. You could tell he was an honest guy, and you could trust the companies guarantee "Our job isn't done until the lab tests say we're done." I paid one fee, and the company came and remediated, after the cleaning they performed a test 3 days later and my numbers were improved but still high. They came back a second time, this time with the owner, and did a more thorough inspection. From that inspection they found several places where water was infiltrating my house, and they said I needed to get them fixed before they'd treat again; however, they would indeed treat again for no additional cost since they should have already found those leaks with the initial clean. When I talked with the owner, he ensured me they stood by their guarantee and they'd take care of my family - and they did. I actually had a lot of trouble with the other contractors that I hired to fix the water leaks, so it took several months. Every once in awhile Darryl would check in with me to see the progress, and once everything looked good he came out to check the humidity levels were good before they retreated. They came back good, they retreated, and now I am mold free. I would recommend American Mold Experts to anybody, and I actually already have!

Wonderful. Couldn't had work with nicer people. They came out twice to finish the job. They did a tremendous job.

Tim returned my call very promptly, listened closely to my description of the problem, and quickly scheduled a time for him to come and take a look. He also clearly explained that there would be a fuel charge, the reasons for it, and that it would be applied to any future work that related to the visit. When he came out to visit, he was right on time, and was very friendly and professional. Again, he listened to my explanations and questions. he performed a cursory test of the material that i suspected was mold, and it turned out not to be (thankfully). Since he was on site, he did a basic visual inspection for other potential mold and found (by testing) a small spot. he gave me a ballpark estimate for removing it, and helped me understand how to best figure out whether insurance would cover the removal work. he took great care to explain how everything works, how mold works/grows, etc. i felt like he really enjoyed helping me and the work that he does, and like i learned a lot (which would help me ultimately make a better decision). I am awaiting confirmation from my insurance company before deciding how to proceed, but this initial inspection was a great experience and build a lot of trust with Tim and his company.

The entire event went smoothly. Tom Ulrey, the sales representative (who is a certified Mold Inspector), came to our home the afternoon he was contacted. He confirmed that the observed spot on the ceiling of our cedar closet was mold, and designed a remediation plan. He subsequently improved on the plan (substituting cedar paneling for what had been drywall as the ceiling replacement panel). He and the Site Manager (Bryon Pennington, who is also certified) arrived on schedule, observed behind and above the paneling with a fiber optic camera (to make sure it was safe to expose the area), removed the ceiling, inspected the exposed area above the closet, diagnosed the source of the moisture that allowed the mold to grow, and corrected the problem at the source by installing foam insulation around the pipes. In the process, they noted a hole in the air ducting, and plugged it. They then applied the company's proprietary MTR94 mixture to clean and remove residual mold. They cut the new cedar panel to size and installed it so as to facilitate any future removal. They completed the work by sanding the existing cedar paneling to restore its protective properties, and thoroughly cleaning the work area. They finished well ahead of schedule. Throughout the work the men were professional and cordial, and very informative regarding mold problems and how to avoid or remediate them.

I wanted them to test the space where the water was accumulated, which they refused to check, because of the water accumulation. They also had to test the wall, which they didn?t due to lack of electricity. They also had to do mold testing, but didn?t bring the machine along. They didn?t charge me anything, as they didn?t do anything. They were not well prepared for the test, which could have happened earlier. I will use their services in future.

I used an Angie's List coupon. The price was pretty reasonable. It was a good experience. They were very professional and timely.

I talked with them today and I'm still in the process of doing a few things. They've given me a verbal quote about two weeks ago. It's about $3500 and I need to confirm with them again. They were professional. They were on time. They came on the day and at the time they said they would. I actually had Angie's List coupon at the time which I had one room in particular to test. Then they came back after I decided to test a few more rooms so everything went smoothly there. The thing that really stood out is I could talk with the head of the company for about 45 minutes on the phone. He gave a lot of time to explain his reports and sent the mold report by fax and by mail. He discussed with me for quite a long time explaining everything which was excellent. I think may be it's because we've kind of gone up step by step that I haven't gotten a written estimate yet. There are some of the things that need to be done by another company such as the outside building before American Mold Experts are going to actually come and kill the mold. I haven't asked for a written, precise estimate yet. I don't have any complaints. I would use them in the future.

It was excellent. The representative came out a couple of times and did the inspection and went over the results with myself and my husband. We couldn?t have asked for better service. There was follow up afterward to make sure that everything was OK. He went over and beyond. He was kind and answered any questions.

Mark McDonald promptly scheduled a visit after my initial call in September 2010. His inspection revealed multiple types of mold in my crawl space. He recommended a waterproofing company to take care of the water problem in the crawl that contributed to the mold. The waterproofing company quickly fit me into their job schedule. After the holidays, I contacted American Mold again to schedule the mold cleanup with Mark's team. The two guys who did the cleanup (Jason and ??) were polite and thorough. I had a small job so they were done in a little over 1/2 day. We stayed out of the house overnight (although Jason said we could safely return by 5 pm). Retesting a few weeks later showed the problem had been mitigated. Though it was an expensive process, their method is NON-DESTRUCTIVE (unlike many other companies) and guaranteed. I am very satisfied with their work.

Excellent! American Mold's expert (Mark) was prompt, courteous and efficient. He did a very complete inspection and (since there appeared to be another contractor as the root cause of our problem) he outlined a course of action for us to follow. Mark assured us that if we were unable to get the offending contractor to "own up" to the issue, American Mold would be able to complete remediation to our satisfaction. We would not hesitate to use American Mold Experts again and would ask for Mark.

He did a free check and he is giving me an estimate right now. They seem to have a great deal of knowledge and seem very trustworthy. They don't seem like they are trying to take me so I was very impressed. They responded immediately.

I was surprised with the reader and detection. It was virtually invisible to the eye. I couldn't be happier. They checked the whole house, isolated the issue. I don't recall the price, but I remember it being much lower than a previous quote I had recieved.

I had left three messages and it took them a week to get back to us. We had already gotten the job done by that time.

we had a moisture issue we were unaware of. downspout drainage was following our main drain into crawlspace. we had that taken care of. we had some mold forming so we called in to American Mold. they suggested we get a waterproofing professional to adress the moisture problem. that was done so we could eliminate the mold.

This company is FANTASTIC!!!! They were surprized that Prudential Relo would require "official remediation" for a job like this, but they gave me an estimate based on the Inspection picture, scheduled service, arrived on time. They were great about price, and honored the Angie's List coupon as well! The owner showed up with the employee to supervise that everything was done correctly. They provided the documentation and wording I needed to satisfy Prudential.

He came and looked at the attic and said that the mold was specifically in the attic. He didn?t bring a ladder. So I had to provide him with a ladder. He couldn?t even get into to look at the other two spaces because the ladder wasn?t tall enough. He gave me an estimate anyway. I don?t know what he saw. He measured what he thought was the size of the attic and gave me a quotation to remediate all the surfaces in both the attic. He seemed to be a very knowledgeable and was professional in talking about the services. I thought that he gave me an estimate way over what I probably needed. I didn?t call him back.

They were able to come out to test within 48hrs and then perform the remediation shortly after the test results came back. We appreciated their quick response. The procedure was expensive but less than another quote we had. They came back quickly to fix a board that was knocked loose at the attic access panel. Overall very pleased.

We called after finding a questionable spot in our bathroom. They came out and did a free positive/negative test to figure out whether or not we were actually dealing with mold. The small spot turned out to be mold, but since the spot was small, the inspector suggested taking care of it ourselves. After digging into the wall a little more, we discovered the problem was much more severe than we had anticipated, so we called again and got a full mold inspection. This included an air sampling (indoors and out),a swab test of the area, and thermo-imaging of my home. When the results of the testing came back, it was time to figure out where our moisture problem came from. The inspector seemed to go above and beyond by coming back with a contractor who went into our attic, and coming with his boss to do some more precise thermo-imaging. Thankfully, no current problem was found, and we scheduled the remediation. I had not met the two gentlemen who came and did the actual remediation, but they seemed to know what they were doing, so I packed up the kiddos and took off. I was under the impression that they would call before they left and I would come back and check everything out before they left. This isn't what happened. They actually didn't even pick up our final payment. Woops. That wasn't too big of a deal, because our original inspector came back a few days later to retest everything to make sure the mold was really dead. I only have a few complaints. One, they broke a glass candy dish when they were covering surfaces with plastic during the remediation. Two, I wasn't expecting our floors to feel greasy from the stuff they use, and I haven't figured out how to clean it. And three, the post-test was an air quality test rather than a swab test of the moldy spot on the wall. Overall, we had a very positive experience.

I wasn?t exactly pleased with them and did not go with them. He came out and did a check for me on mold and remediation, but I just wasn?t satisfied with that and ended up getting another one. I was suspicious of it and did some more checking. One of the things that I though was a little disconcerting was when he told me the amount to do the estimate because I had already looked on the list and seen that there was a discount. He but he did not make any reference to it and was going to charge me the higher amount, until i said that I thought there was a discount, but he did honor it. He came out pretty quickly and was punctual.

Called the company on 5/14/2010 to set up an appointment for an inspection. Was directed to voicemail by their automated system. Left my name and phone number with the referring company on voicemail. Today is 5/22/2010 and I still have not received a return call.

Excellent. Had two other mold quotes and their non-destructive approach was much more economical. Their work passed the approval of my insurance and mortage holder requirements. They provided additional information required by their excessive due diligence.

I didn't really want to communicate them; I just wanted them to do the job. I had some leaking in the roof, and they did the job. I thought they did a good job.

We had received a quote from another contractor to remediate what we believed was mold in our basement. We asked American to also give us a quote. American tested the suspected area first and was able to confirm it was not mold but dirt. We were very happy that their first goal was to identifiy the problem rather then just sell us the services.

They came in and did the remediation of mold in the laundry room first because thats where we thought it was, but we discovered after a couple of days that it was in the crawl space and heat ducts so they came back and treated the areas and all is well. They were very courteous and professional and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They cleaned it up, and everything went fine. My wife is allergic to mold, and she seems to be doing a lot better now. We were very happy with them and would certainly use them again.
