Description of Work: We were very impressed with A-1 Waterproofing. In the midst of their process, we elected to have mold remediation done in our crawl space, and they suspended activities so it could be accomplished. Then they came back and finished the job on another date. The worker let us know at all times what was happening and where they were in the process. We would use them again.

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment on 10/18/2012 @ 11:00 a.m. in Fishers, IN. A representative arrived on time and spent about an hour with me going through possible solutions to my problem and said he would have a estimate for work to be performed with in a few days. After two weeks of not receiving any phone call or email, I called the company toll free number and left a message asking for a return phone call as I had not received any call back from their representative, Mark, since our appointment. After another week and no phone call back from any one at the office, I used the phone number on Angies List and talked to someone and was given Mark's, cell phone number. I talked to him on early in the week of November 12th he said he would have a quote to sent to me within a couple of days. On Friday Nov 16th, I had to follow up with him again. I received a Voice Message requesting a meeting on Saturday morning Nov 17th. I quickly returned his call and left him a Voice Message again and accepting his request to meet on Saturday morning Nov 17th @ 11:00. I did not receive a phone call, email and no one bothered to show up for the appointment. So 4 weeks later, I have received nothing and I am hoping the next company I call on Angie's List is interested in earning my business.

Description of Work: They came out and waterproofed the basement. They had to do a considerable amount of jackhammering and running pipes, putting in a pump, etc.

Description of Work: I've called this company three times over the last two weeks. The first time I called the didn't return my call. The second time the owner (Wayne) said he would call and never did and the third call I made they didn't return it.

Description of Work: I thought that the owner's son was very professional, very respectful. He didn't talk down to me, but gave me lots of good information.

Description of Work: After receiving the estimate, it was determined that I could not afford the job at this time. Some time in the future I will reconsider. Justin Roberts did an excellent job on the estimate. I would certainly recommend this company to others. Estimate $5,150.

ROBERTS CALLED TO TELL ME PROBABLE CAUSE WAS CRACK IN FOUNDATION AND TO TEAR DRYWALL OFF BASEMENT WALLS TO IDENTIFY PROBLEM, AND GAVE IDEA AS TO WHAT HE CHARGED TO REPAIR. DAYS LATER, AFTER DETERMINING SOURCE OF WATER DAMAGE PROBLEM, CALLED ROBERTS TO RESCHEDULE HIS VISIT TO REVIEW REPAIRS REQUIRED AND OBTAIN QUOTE. ROBERTS NEVER RETURNED CALL, APPARENTLY JOB TOO SMALL FOR HIS FIRM TO MESS WITH. DISAPPOINTED BY LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND POOR COMMUNICATION EXHIBITED BY MR. ROBERTS.
