I emailed her on Monday. She called within 3 hours. Originally set up to come Wednesday as it was not an emergency. She called on Tuesday that her jobs went faster than anticipated and she came out a day early. Have to pay with Cash or Cashier's check - no plastic credit cards or debit cards. Just changed the locks in the door knob not the door knob itself. Fixed the latch and advised us to pull up on our lever handles and it will make them last twice as long. Very satisfied with her service. She was very courteous to my mother-in-law and patiently answered her concerns. Would absolutely use her services again.

Jan did a very good job matching the color of the existing plates on both vintage doors. The locks work well and I now have keys to both doors. She did a fine job.

Because this door gets 95% of our entry/exits from the house, the knob/lock tends to wear out every few years. Our 4 year old could no longer open the door (which might be great news in some households, but not in ours). Jan from Janco was very responsive and professional. The door is working great now.

When I began calling around, Jan answered directly and patiently answered questions and provided helpful information about re-keying our locks. We purchased a home and wanted all the locks changed and set to the same key. Her pricing was the same as another highly reputable company but I liked that she answered the phone when I called so I went with her. She showed up within the stated time frame and was very patient as I was on the phone with Sears when she arrived. She listened to our concerns, answered questions, and got right to work. She re-keyed the door knobs and deadbolts on 4 exterior doors, plus a storm door, and two of the locks didn't even have keys from the previous homeowners. She misplaced one of the pieces for a brief time (though easy to do with the mess our garage is in right now) but she was honest in letting us know right away and found it shortly thereafter. So far everything works great and we would highly recommend Jan's services.

Jan was actually booked the day I called but ended up fitting me in last minute. She came on time, was polite, cheerful and very friendly. Locks got changed very quickly and she even made me 3 extra keys. I would hire Jan again in a heartbeat and will refer her to everyone I know!

Let me say I did not use Jan because she made it possible for me to deal with the problem myself. She was wonderful, told me what to buy deal with my lock. As it turned out this was a weather related problem which was resolved. I am really happy about what happened. It would have been so easy for her to come, fix the locks which didn't really need fixing, and charge me accordingly. I will absolutely call her with any lock related issues I have in the future.

Jan came to our house at the end of her day because a couple of locks had broken during a recent cold spell. She wanted to make sure that we would not be he stranded. She has a truck ful of keys. Our broken keys were replaced in no time. eJan also inspected lccks in the rest of the house and repaired a couple that need work. Her fees for lock repair are very reasonable including the trip charge.

They are punctual and do good quality work.

She initially said when I called at about 3:00, that she could be here after 6. At approximately 3:45 she called and said that she could get here in about 10 minutes. She was very quick at her job. I hope that she is always around to do business with, when I need her.

Had problems getting keys made for deadbolt. She suggested Ace Lock and Key who easily helped me.

Lock was not working. Jan quickly looked at it and said the lock had to be raised because the door had sunk over time. She quickly performed the service, and then sprayed my front and back locks, which were stiff because of the winter weather. I have used her on a few occasions over the years and I wouldn't think of using anyone else

She did a really good job. The price I pais in the end was less than her estimate. She was very nice and professional. She gave good advice and came very promptly. I had questions and she agreed to come and look at my particular situation when the other locksmith I called told me that they come and do the job right away. They don't give you time to think and come back.

Our home is older, and when we moved in over a year ago the previous owners handed us a bag of keys. Three different keys opened various doors into the house. We wanted to replace the door locks so one key would work in all. Also, an emergency door out of the master bedroom had a keyed deadbolt - not the best option in an emergency. We wanted that replaced with a thumb latch. Also, one door - a unique Dutch door original to the house - had a deadbolt that was very difficult to close and the lock in the door on the handle occasionally just fell out! Jan showed up for the estimating appointment on time and offered some good suggestions for deepening a few of the deadbolts to improve security. While she was late to the appointment for the repairs, she called to ask me first if she could detour to help someone who was locked out of their home - so the delay was completely understandable. Jan worked diligently and persevered even when she encountered unexpected difficulty with the Dutch door. We agreed on a minor change she suggested - even thought that meant she'd have to return at a later time to complete the project. Fortunately, she was able to return the next evening and complete the job. My first experience with a locksmith, and Jan was top notch.

Jan was tremendous--diligent and creative. She stuck with us through a cold evening, and worked until the job was thoroughly and effectively completed. She was professional, friendly, and engendered a sense of trust. I would recommend her to anyone. Many thanks, Jan!!
