We were out of town and the lock broke which prevented my pet sitter from entering the house. Called Jan from the car and within a few hours she had traveled to Indianapolis and gotten the door open and repaired the lock. She was even kind enough to fill my pet’s bowl until I could get there. Price was very reasonable!

Jan was awesome. She was prompt, professional, and got the job done properly. I’d hire Jan again any time (if necessary).

For many years I have called Jan whenever I have needed any kind of lock assistance (being locked out, locks needing replacement, new keys, etc). She is always prompt and friendly. She is very knowledgeable and does excellent work.

She is professional and knowledgeable and worked until she got it done. I called Friday morning and she came that afternoon. I asked her opinion about my locks from a security prospective and asked if I should get them re-keyed. She asked pertinent questions about my situation and instead of trying to convince me I needed something I didn't, she said based on my situation it probably wasn't necessary. I asked for her quote in case I decide at some point to get it done. I appreciate her honesty, professionalism, and her ability to repair my old locks. I will call her in the future if I have a need for a locksmith.

Jan had me purchase my own locks, which makes sense so that the customer gets exactly what she wants. I am very happy with the work that was done. She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy, and delightful to work with!

Great. Spent over 1 hour getting lock to function

Exceptionally well with Barry Lock and Unlock Service who I was referred to by Janco while she was on vacation.

Everything went perfectly. I intend on hiring Jan again when it is time to re-key the garage door to match the house key.

I called Jan and asked if she could stop by my house to see what kind of lock I would need for my front door. She was able to meet with me that very week and arrived on time. After evaluating my front door, she informed me that the lock I had was completely fine and did not need to be fixed, which I hadn't realized. She took the time to explain different types/qualities of locks to me , and did not charge me for the service call. Overall, she was very kind and professional over the phone and in person, and I appreciated her honesty and patience. Whenever I actually do need a new lock, I'll definitely call her!

Jan was very prompt, efficient and expertly completed the jobs for which we hired her. She was persistent in her attempts to get the correct keys cut for our rear screen door as this necessitated several tries - but she didn't give up until she got them exactly right! Jan had the best price of any other locksmith we contacted. We definitely recommend her for locksmith needs - she's terrific!

Jan was great! She was professional, knowledgeable, and very quick. I gave her a B for punctuality and I am not sure that is fair. She said she would be there between 3 and 5, but did say she was coming from a long way away. It was just shortly after 5 and she did call. So, yes, she was a few minutes late but she did everything she could to make it right. It would not discourage me from using her again and it should not discourage you from using her.

Jan was thorough, punctual, and totally professional. She made an initial visit to assess the job and determine the needed materials. When she got the parts, she came back to do the installation. Everything was went according to plan. We highly recommend her work.
