Jan was very responsive and scheduled us in quickly. She arrived on time and performed the work quickly and professionally. She provided us with various options and was very helpful in making the right decisions for our family.

The owner, Jan, returned my initial call very quickly, was early for our appointment and finished the job in about 45 minutes to 1 hour. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I would highly recommend her.

Jan is fantastic. I selected her company based on very strong reports from Angie's List. I was not disappointed. She met or exceeded my expectations in all areas of review. Additionally, when she realized that the locks in my home were an older, more complicated to work with, variety, she didn't complain about her original estimate. Rather, she called another locksmith from another company to help her complete the job in the time frame she had promised.

Jan is fabulous to work with! An appointment was scheduled for a Thursday but Jan was available a day earlier and called to say she was stopping by. In less then 15 minutes a new lock was put on the front door and the original back door key now worked for both doors. To top it off, Jan didn't charge anything for the visit. Wonderful! I would definitely use JanCo again.

AWESOME. Jan responding quickly to my call for service. She ended up replacing the knob on the front door completely and the deadbolt and other entry door just needed to be rekeyed to match. Jan really knows what she is doing. She works quickly and efficently. When she asked how many keys I'd need, my reply was about 4 - she handed me 10 on a ring. I can't imagine another locksmith service doing a better job at being more responsive and knowledgable. Angie's List members, this should be the one and only locksmith you will ever need. I was impressed with her professionalism and will use her again in the future should the need arise.

It was a wonderful service!! We had an unusually large number of locks, so the cost of our project should not deter you; we just had a lot of doors! Jan called me back immediately and scheduled the work quickly. She brought in help to finish the job within the time frame she promised. Jan really is a pleasant person to be around! I called at 11:00 am and she said she could be here within the hour. She came about noon. Jan was very professional and had the necessary keys to unlock the cabinet. I would definitely use Janco Lock Service in the future. I would highly recommend this company.

On a Sunday night, I had been unable to remove my house key from its lock and was faced with leaving the house open while needing to be out of town the next day. I logged onto Angie's list and started calling. I called three locksmiths before Jan, who was in the middle of dinner, answered her phone. She not only arrived within a couple of hours, but had the ancient parts my lock needed with her. She completed the job in about a half hour, and gave me a complimentary key to boot. What a lifesaver!

Service was scheduled for the next day after I called. Jan was very courteous, on time and reasonably priced. She was very accommodating and completed the work in spite of the fact that I had to delay my payment. Great personality! I'd definitely use her again.

Even though we live way up in Anderson, Jan was on time. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all of our questions and put up with me calling her several times about locks. (I'm a security freak!) When I wanted top shelf locks on two out buildings, she suggested something much cheaper and just as effective. She's an honest professional who isn't out to trick people into paying more than necessary for her services. Very highly recommended!!!

Was late for appointment but solved the problem of using one key for all the doors in the house and performed good work.

We were having an engagement party for our daughter on a Friday and discovered that a seldom used door to the deck would not open. My husband decided that it was a broken dead bolt and tried to fix it but couldn't. He removed the deadbolt, door knob and even tried taking the door off. We called Jan the next morning from Angie's List and Jan was able to come within a couple of hours and fixed the problem. She was very good at identifying the problem which was not the deadbolt but a broken part in the door knob mechanism. She also noticed a similar problem in the garage entry door and fixed it before it resulted in a similar situation. Jan saved the day so our guest could open the door to our deck for the party.

Jan was on time. The actual cost was higher than her quote because she felt the locks were not properly installed originally. One of the four locks was unable to be opened with the key after she left but she did come out several days later to fix it. She clearly has extensive knowledge about the lock business.

Jan was great! On-time, friendly, and efficient; she re-keyed 14 cylinders for me at a great price. Thanks Jan!

She is very easy to work with, I called her on a Saturday eve. She said she was unable to do the job but referred me to someone else. I waited until Sunday and she came out and charged me the regular fee, and I was not charged more because it was a weekend.

She came within an hour of my call because she was in the area, replaced the latch quickly, plus had a pleasing, professional personality.

Jan was responsive and patient. Due to another's scheduling error, someone else was here when she came for an evaluation/estimate. She called us as soon as the locks were in and didn't require a follow up call. Doors look nice. Honestly, we didn't check around on price.

Jan was travelling near Lafayette when we called her for help, and though she wouldn't be in town soon enough to help us, she referred us to another firm with whom we were very pleased. Thanks Jan!

I can say it in one work - TERRIFIC.

She came quickly. She did a good job. The lock was broken and I had 2 neighbors try to work on it and she was able to fix it quickly. She said it would take about a week to get the equipment she needed to do the key work for me. I was impressed with her.

We were very impressed with the lady who did the work, she was the best! She was on time, knew what she was doing, and seemed to be very honest and had good mechanical aptitude. The cost was reasonable.
