It went well. Even though there was a not-so-pleasant surprise of a key broken off into one of the locks, she was able to get it out and get the cylinder re-keyed. She advised that this cylinder would be a little tricky in the future, because the key broken off did physical damage that would have to be replaced, but it was still completely functional. Even though she was a little pressed for time due to another appointment and some unavoidable life issues that required some rescheduling, she got everything completed, and all four cylinders tested. When two of them proved to have minor issues I was willing to live with, she was unwilling to let the issues stand and got them fixed. There were a couple other things I didn't realize were issues (missing strikeplate, bolt hole too short), and she went the extra mile and got those fixed up. She did charge for that, but it was only a couple extra dollars, and now my home is much more secure. Plus, my one request was to work via email, and she respected that, even though it made her life just a little more difficult. A+ would hire again.

Responded quickly and set up appointment time. Repair took about 3 hours and second knowledgeable person. It was completely fixed! After researching Baldwin locks with our door configuration the repair charge was very acceptable. Now have an operable front door handle and lock without having to attempt a direct replacement so that the front door did not also need repairs.

Great. Jan replaced all 3 cores and a broken lock mechanism in about 25 minutes. We've used her several times before and have always been pleased with the results.

It had been month since we moved in, and it was time. What does a normal person do when referrals do not show up in your inbox? You GOOGLE your zip code and locksmith. And, lo, and behold there were a number of locksmiths listed beginning with barely a mile away from home, even one in Normandy Farm itself! How fortuitous, a resident locksmith! So I call the number, and the call doesn't go through. Maybe it's T Mobile, they have lousy service. I tried a different way of calling, same result. Being an eager beaver, I jumped on the car and went to the address on Normandy Boulevard, knocked at the door (8:30 AM) hoping my locksmith is up and ready to work. A gentleman opens the door, and I ask him about his expertise in locksmithing to which he answers he had never looked at a lock other than to put a key in it and open a door. Boom! Then it dawns me that all those listed locksmiths within a few miles of 46278 had phony addresses. If you call one of them and the call goes through, it will go to an answering service out of a distant city, which then funnels your request to a local minion who will call you back and low ball the service, even down to $14 for the service call so they get the job and from there inflate the cost of the job. Your credit card will not be secure if used as a payment method. Also these local minions do not represent any companies but are free lancers. I finally found a real person, working out of a brick and mortar establishment on Temple Avenue, north of Glendale, who has been in business for years, and who despite being booked solid, came out at the end of her day and fixed all my lock problems. The name of her company is Janco, her name is Jan Cornett. She was wonderful and did a great job. Looked her up on Angie's List.

It went great. I left a voicemail at noon, and I was contacted at 3:00 P.M. the same day. The locksmith arrived within the hour, and replaced the doorknobs and deadbolts quickly at a fair price. The locksmith was polite and courteous as well.

It was a great experience. Extremely punctual. Very friendly and was able to adapt to my very noisey house of birds and dogs!!!!!! She was very efficient in her work and made sure I tested each lock for my approval. I was very pleased and would use her again next time I need work done!!! The price was more than reasonable. The installation went well. The requirement was to install a new deadbolt into an external pedestrian door to my garage. There was no opening for the deadbolt in the door so an opening was required as well as installing the lock. The appropriate holes were drilled in the door and the deadbolt installed. I had previously purchased the deadbolt to be used at Jan's suggestion. With this work completed, Jan then rekeyed my remaining external door locks to the same key. The job was completed in a prompt and efficient manner. All extra materials were cleaned up an the rubbish properly disposed.

She did a great job, very prompt and professional. It was obvious that she had been doing this along time. We were especially impressed with the job she did on our old unique lock on our front door. She re-cored it, which took some time and very intricate work. Would recommend her/use her services again.

Arranged with Jan, the owner, to meet me at my residence after a previously scheduled appointment(very accommodating and flexible of her). She arrived promptly and immediately diagnosed the problem (even though I had misidentified the type of lock). ue to the age and condition of mechanism, she had to piece together parts that she had on hand. She advised that the condition of the door was causing undue stress on the mechanism so might need to be addressed so problem does not reoccur.Jan gave me the name and glowing review (from personal experience) of another Angies List member who works with doors. Upon leaving, Jan tightened up and lubricated the front door hardware as well.

Jan answered my call and plans were made for her to come to my home later in the afternoon which she did. She quickly determined that I only needed a part replaced instead of a new lock. I appreciated her honesty and the quick response to my call. I also enjoyed talking to her afterwards about traveling.

Jan came late in the day to help, and had me fixed within 30 minutes! She had to install a new strike plate and lever. Prompt, helpful, courteous!

Prompt, courteous, professional service. The owner of the company came to my home and performed the services on the same day I called. Actually within an hour or two. Very good job. Reasonably priced and she was professional and friendly. I would use Janco Lock again in a minute.

I called Jan because I slammed the door too hard and the lock stuck. She called back soon and came by in an hour. It only took her a minute to diagnose and repair the lock. She was here about a month ago and cut a new key for our front door Jan is always prompt and courteous. A real pleasure!
