Jan is an excellent locksmith and an excellent communicator!

Closing delayed my ability to get into the home. She was fine with that and said she was in a hurry to get to her next appt. and didn't charge for the time there. We rescheduled and she was prompt and completed all the work in a short time. She was very professional.

Called Jan on Friday, she came on Tuesday. She was going to be late, so she called ahead to let me know where she was coming from and approximate arrival time. Jan was efficient and re-keyed the locks, made keys in a short period of time.

Jan was super. Did what I needed done, answered all my questions and fixed a few things that I assumed would have to be replaced. And she was prompt, personable and professional.

She was so fast, quick & nice. I would call her again in a minute. I had no problems with this women. If anyone asked me about her I would recommend her.

She came over quickly and fixed the lock without trying to sell us a new one.

Jan first came out to look at our situation and determine what needed to be done. Some locks only needed to be rekeyed, others needed to be replaced, and we wanted an additional dead bolt installed. She returned the following week for installation. Although she ran into a couple of glitches with our existing doors, she took care of everything. I no longer need to carry a ziploc bag of keys to open our doors - one key does it all!

Jan was very professional and pleasant. She returned my initial call right away and was on time to give me the estimate. It turned out I needed modernization for all of the locks on my doors and she wasn't the right person to do the work, but she gave me a referral to another company. We would call her if we needed a locksmith for another job.

They came out in a very timely manner and she got the work done very quickly. The service was great, and I think the service call price amount was reasonable.

We have used Jan before and she is great to work with. We purchased specific door handles and locks for our home to replace the current ones and Jan installed them all. We were able to schedule an appointment quickly and she performed the work very well.

Jan squeezed us in to her already busy schedule to fix our broken lock, which was preventing us from being able to use our front door. She very quickly installed a new deadbolt and shaved down the door frame to make the lock fit better than it had before.

Wonderful! I called Jan about an estimate and lead time required. She was very prompt in responding, and even called me a few days later to let me know she was in the area (after hours on her own time) and was going by the property to take a look at what she would need. Wow! Even though she was a little late (I *knew* she was being too optimistic about the time it would take to get to my house ) which was not a big deal to me, she got right to work and got everything rekeyed in short order. She was very professional, took plenty of time to answer questions and describe what she was doing, and even offered advice on the replacement of a faulty lock that the manufacturer should replace rather than paying her to do it. Jan came to the house a little early to get started. She was friendly, polite and knowledgeable, explaining each door as I showed them to her. Then she got right to work! After she was finished she had me test each key and each lock and it was a good thing, because one of them needed to be changed, which she took care of right away. It was an easy and thorough service.

Owner came out to give an estimate, but ended up having everything with them to do the job. While I did have to wait longer than I was told, the work was done well. I wasn't too sure what to expect in way of cost, but price seemed to be okay.

Jan came when she said she would, worked rapidly to replace and re-key my locks, and gave me two free keys because I found her through Angie's list (or maybe it was because I am a senior). She was very pleasant to work with and seems to enjoy her job. I would recommend her highly and use her again if needed.

I Selected Janco which I am glad I did. Janet was very professional, and responsive. She even offered to make keys for the lock when I said that I was going to have to put a new lock in because we apparently had lost the original keys. I accepted even though the service was going to be concerned over time (she told me this on the phone before coming out to unlock the room.) I would recommend Janco Lock Service to anyone who had a problem with a lock.
