We had several problems requiring help from a professional. My husband and I had tried to install a new front door lever, but ran into problems when it wouldn't latch properly. The separate deadbolt gave us problems, too. After a laptop and house key theft, we decided to have all our locks rekeyed, so I called Jan. She had worked on our new doors and levers several years ago, and I liked her work. I am so glad I finally called her for these door and lock issues. She was able to come out soon after I called (can't remember how many days) and knew exactly what to do to fix our do-it-yourself errors. Unfortunately, when my husband and I had removed the new door lever after not being able to get it to work on our DIY attempt some weeks ago, the little springs fell out and under the front porch. Gone for good. When Jan arrived for this job, she advised that it would be more cost effective for me to just go buy a new one. That had been my assumption after the springs disappeared between the porch floor boards. She went to work on the deadbolt, and before I knew it, she had it in AND had rebuilt and installed our door lever in the door (which had sagged and caused the latching problem)! I was thrilled! It still cost no more than to buy a new one, and it saved me the time and used the actual lever I had wanted there. Woohoo! I still had four doors plus deadbolts to rekey, which she proceeded to do. The entire job took her longer than she or I thought, but that's because she had gone ahead with the rebuilding of the front door lever lock, a much appreciated service. She was also able to adjust the strike plate on the door jamb ever so carefully so it would latch properly. It required a lot of patience and finesse, as it had already been adjusted years ago and there wasn't much wiggle room. She did a great job! I really appreciated Jan's expertise, patience, determination and willingness to go the extra mile for my convenience, satisfaction and safety. I highly recommend Janco Lock Service.

Jan was able to work me in within a couple of days of contacting her. She was there on time and had the locks re-keyed and new keys made for me within an hour. She was very professional and trustworthy.

Jan was very professional and knowlegible about her work. She responded promptly and came the next day to do the job. She was in and out quickly and even did some extra work by drilling into the lock hole that was not properly installed when the home was built. She was a pleasure to do business with. We hired JanCo within the first week of owning a new home in the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood. Our new home had some older locks on it that we couldn?t sort out on our own. Her work(wo)manship was exemplary and her customer service was fantastic. Highly recommended!

She answered the phone and was able to schedule right away and showed up on time. SHe also gave me a less expensive option of lubricating the lock and adjusting and making better keys. She did that on the spot and provided the keys free because of Angieslits. Very reasonable price too.....

Jan was great! Got a hold of her in the early afternoon and she met me at my house that same day! Even waited for me to get home from work since I was running late. Was very quick and even replaced a part of the door for me. Had one of the cheapest prices around too!

I locked myself out of my house. She was there within an hour! She got me back into my home so quickly, I would give her a thousand star review!!! Especially, since it was a Sunday evening and pouring down rain!!!

I called in the morning and Jan was able to come in the afternoon. She called and kept me updated on when she would arrive. I showed her the locks to be rekeyed/replaced. One handle set had to be replaced in order to be keyed like the others but Jan had a spare one (at no charge!) that matched our other handles perfectly. She rekeyed all the locks and made the keys very efficiently. Jan is very pleasant and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her and use her service again.

Responded within 1 hour from my first telephone message. Arranged a convenient time for us both. Jan had an earlier opening and contacted me, which created an even better option for my schedule. She arrived on time and completed the work well within the time she specified.

I contacted this service and they came the next day. They were very helpful, fast, and good quality service who did everything quickly and efficiently. Very friendly and pleasant company to work with. Will use them again for any future projects.

The overall experience was very professional. I called Jan, the owner, the week before the work was to be performed and she called two days before the scheduled work and said that she had a cancellation and could come out two days early. Jan arrived on time, answered our questions and performed the work quickly and professionally.

Jan came out the same day I called. She was cheerful, efficient, and Knowledgeable. The lock works perfectly now, realizing that it will need to be completely replaced in a year or two.

Arrives on time, thorough and goes the extra mile to be sure she takes care of our personal property as she is changing the locks. Now all our locks work off of one set of keys. She also made extra keys on site.

I've used Janco twice-first when I moved into my new home, and next when a lock jammed. She is reasonably priced and efficient. Will use for all my locksmith needs.

My front door lock was sticking and refusing to open. I thought I had to replace the entire thing. I called Janco on 1/7/2013 to have it checked out. I managed to get an appointment the next day (Jan actually volunteered to come out on the same day but I had scheduling conflicts). She examined and took the lock apart, replaced a defective part, and about an hour later, the lock was working good as new.
