I purchased an Angie's List Coupon for G&G. When G&G and I talked and discussed an actual estimate I decided not to use them. However, Frank was great and honest. Rather than request a refund I decided to hold on to the coupon to use on another property as I believe they will do a great job.

In our initial telephone conversation I informed Frank of what we were interested in doing with our kitchen. He arrived prepared with samples of what we were interested in plus a few other options for considerations, some of which offered a nice touch. We discussed installing a microwave above our stove and he informed us of the modifications required so there were no surprises later. The pricing for the service we felt was reasonable. A schedule was set up for the cabinetry to be modified/refaced and the counter top replaced. The cabinetry supplies arrived a few days early as planned. When the carpenter arrived he began work immediately and was finished the next day as scheduled. He was very efficient and the quality of his work was excellent. He did run into an issue with sliding drawers in two of our cabinets and offered a solution which worked well. The company installing the countertop replacement was contracted thru G&G Furniture. There were issues with this part of the service but this review is about G&G Furniture. We all know the horror stories but Frank was the opposite. Despite the all of the issues and even a scheduling issue which was my misunderstanding, Frank never wavered on insuring the project was completed as agreed to and was good to his word. In the end when my wife and I sit or work in the kitchen we are happy with the end result and are grateful to Frank for his perseverance.

The job went very smooth and we were very happy with the final result.

The workmanship was excellent. They started on time, finished on time and stayed within the budget. What more can you ask for? Frank and his team are excellent!

Mr. Frank Guzzo was extremely responsive, on spot, and very knowledgeable about his trade. He listened to what we wanted and did not try to sell us anything more than we were willing/able to pay. We found him to be very gregarious, cordial, and professional. Chris,the carpenter that he sent to do the work was diligent, precise, and hard-working. He put in long hours but finished the project within the week promised, cleaning up well each day before he left. I was actually still able to use the kitchen to make dinner all week. We have had numerous compliments on the beauty of the cabinets, and the work done. The stained ledge that Frank "thru in" if "I bent his arm", also came out as a perfect match with the previous stain. I would highly recommend Frank Guzzo and G&G Furniture and Cabinet Restoration.

G &G did a quality job without a mess. Frank and Chris are a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend this company. They did leave a few cardboard boxes in my garage from where the pull-outs draws were boxed, but were quick to come back and remove them when I asked. These guys are professionals and it was obviously important to them that the customer be absolutely satisfied.

We hired G&G to resurface our kitchen cabinets and replace the counter top. We kept the original cabinet bases but you would never know it. Our kitchen looks brand new and only by looking inside the drawers or closely inside the cabinets can you tell that they are not brand new cabinets. Our 1968 kitchen had not been touched since the house was built and the cabinets looked like plastic fake paneling so there was no way to paint them and re-staining was not an option. Frank replaced all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and then laminated all the exposed surfaces with matching wood. He was very accommodating with requests we made including being able to raise up the level of the counter top. He sub-contracted the counter top installation and those workers were great as well. He was on time to begin and end the project, the workers kept things neat at the end of every day. It only took 4 business days to complete the whole project. We would recommend Frank or use him again ourselves. The price was a bit higher but the quality of materials was better than others we saw.

They were prompt, friendly and professional. The job took 3 days and the kitchen was a mess but each day they cleaned it up so that we could go in there and cook. I was very impressed by that. The cabinets are beautiful and I would definitely recommend them.

I used them because of the coupon and the fact that they could redo cabinets of give new ones, I like the choice. He gave me the plan and said normally the company would charge, so I don’t know if they did not get the money form Angie’s List.

The guy called me and because we didn't have parking he wouldn't be able to do the job. He said he was going to note to refund the $49.

All went well. The owner himself handled the initial estimate and his explanation of all the options available was comprehensive and detailed. He didn't seem to favor the more expensive fixes over the less expensive, and his quote for the option we chose was almost half as costly as another estimate we had received. The craftsman who actually did the work was prompt, careful and professional.

We had multiple appointments scheduled and he continued to cancel on me. He then just stopped calling.

The provider was easy to work with in scheduling the meetings. The design looked great and Frank had great ideas for our space. The estimated cost was too high for us at the current time.

Let me start by saying that Frank is a perfectionist and everyone that works for and with him is the same way. We had previously used G&G to reface our kitchen cabinets and knew the standard of Frank's work. Our master bathroom was outdated with a prefab shower, Jacuzzi tub and cherry cabinets. We wanted everything taken out in order to modernize the whole room. Frank offered many suggestions and we used most of them - turn the toilet around, get rid of the big built in tub and replace it with a free standing soaking tub (which is gorgeous!), and full length glass walls in the shower. Chris and Robert executed those changes and everything was installed perfectly. The work included: - demo of the room - rebuilding the shower stall from scratch, including tiling the floor of the shower and 2 of the walls, installing new fixtures and a niche in the wall. An outside vendor installed the glass on the other 2 walls. - turned the toilet around so it was in a better location. - removed Jacuzzi tub, which included removal of all the piping related to it and reinstallation of plumbing for new free standing tub. This tub also has a free standing faucet fixture which included a hand held shower. - tiled the floor and base board. - installed a double vanity which included approx. 5' towers on either end. Granite vanity top with undermount sinks, new plumbing fixtures, lights and mirrors (these were custom made by the glass company). Let me comment that all of the electrical work and plumbing were done prior to receiving the cabinet. Robert did all of this work off of the diagram and everything lined up perfectly once the cabinets were installed. - painted walls and woodwork. Frank was in constant contact with us during the project and stopped in to see how things were progressing. There were no hidden costs and we paid Frank the amount he gave in his estimate.

Their communication is great, they told me what I needed to do to begin. They told me exactly what they wanted of me. They began and finished as promised. Everything was up from there and there were no surprises.

They were dependable, did great work and had excellent pricing!

Frank and his crew arrived on time. They were extremely pleasant and very timely. Frank is very much a perfectionist and did an outstanding job on my bathroom. I highly recommend this company!
