They did not always come in a timely manner. It took they awhile to get out and spray after I called them.

Terrible! Because the lawn area was not properly prepared for the new grass seed, their entire effort was futile, and the affected lawn area remains nearly bare. Thus their guarantee was meaningless. I wrote a letter to the office manager demanding a refund of grub prevention cost, but never received a reply.

I have been using them for five years and I like them because they keep my lawn looking okay, even though it doesn t look great now because of the weather. I also appreciate the fact that they haven t killed my other plants. We pay for each treatment.

We have a yearly contract with them to do the lawn, although we have taken advantage of the other services that they provide. The tree and shrub treatment is a separate charge from the lawn treatments. They provide a prepay discount. They are knowledgeable and provide a good service. They will come out between visits if there is a problem that needs to corrected.

They haven t gotten rid of the creeping Charlie in my lawn. I sent them an email one time. They sent an automatic response that didn t mean anything, because they came after I told them not to. They don t schedule a date. They just come around, so it s hard for me to rate punctuality.

They do a good job with the yard. They come out as scheduled and I don't have to be there when they come, which is more convenient for me. The lawn looks good and they are always willing to answer any questions I have.

I am not pleased with the fact that I still have weeds even though they come monthly. I feel with the price they charge that the weeds should be dead. The lawn looks terrible at this time and they aerated and planted some grass seed and that is not growing well either. I will only continue to use them until I sell my home and then I will not be using this company again.

This is my second year with them. I am so very pleased with their service. I have the best looking lawn in my neighborhood. My neighbors see my lawn and ask me who I use. Now they are all hiring Scotts. I have used other companies in the past, and Scotts is the best.

They call before each suggested treatment to see if it is okay for them to come out. I asked for a de-thatching which would have been a couple hundred dollars, but my guy said that it wasnt necessary, which saved me money. I can manage my account on line or do it the old fashioned way. They were very easy to work with.

Awful service. Someone came and did half the job. I had to call 5 times and each time they told me someone would come back the next day and never did. After many mishaps and sloppy service, I had to call a manager, to finally get the work completed.

Adam was very careful when applying the fertilizer and paid extra attention to the weeds in the front yard. I will definitely use them again.

The grass got green, but I had to deal with tough weeds around the perimeter of the lawn myself. I feel like I got and paid for more treatments than I ever intended. I believe I was told they would always call before coming (and I assumed that would be how I would avoid additional treatments), but they never did. Final treatment was for aeration and over-seeding. They told me that is something that needs to be done in October, but a guy showed up in September unannounced and I had to turn him away. He said he came early because they had too many jobs scheduled for October. I told him that wasn't my problem. The aeration cost $51.84 and the over-seeding cost $103. It may be I misunderstood and that they told me over-seeding would cost that much, but somehow I was under the impression that aeration and seeding together would be around $100. Their bills say, "For your convenience, service continues from season to season." I told them not to come back without my stated permission.

We have been using this service since the beginning of this year (2006), and we are very happy with the results. Our lawn remains green and weed free. Everyone we have dealt with has been very helpful. When our neighbors asked who was treating our lawn, we recommended this outfit without any reservations. I've used a couple of lawn services in the area, and so far this has been the best.

Initial fertilization was great. Follow up weed control was very poor. No follow up.

THE COMPANY WAS FAIRLY GOOD. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE SERVICE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BUT I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THEY DID.

They made some mistakes early on coming on appropriate days, and gave us some free treatments and now our lawn looks beautiful.

Didn't have a great experience with them last year, but figured we'd give them one more chance. The second treatment of the year, Luis the tech didn't TREAT the lawn. Just left a bill, no posted sign, actually left the gate open to appear as if work was completed, came home to a neighbor dog roving in my yard. Called to complain, Michael the service manager said he'd take care of it. Never heard from him again, and nothing was resolved. They just showed up for the 3rd treatment this week and the *same* tech, Luis, was about to leave without treating AGAIN (yes, just another bill) before I caught him after watching. What did he do in return? Overfertilized the lawn and I now have brown, dead patches over 30% of the lawn within 3 days of the treatment. Didn't know enough at the time to realize it. I've canceled my service, wish I would've done so much sooner. Avoid at all costs. Repeat, DO NOT USE.

Very prompt and responsive. Came and gave the estimate right away, did the work - as promised - within a week. The service person left a note describing the work that was completed. He even noted that my grass looked a little thin in spots and left directions along with a bag of grass seed for reseeding! Free of charge!

THE PRICE OF THIS SERVICE AND TIMELINESS OF ITS WORTH IT! BUYING ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FERTILIZER, SUPPLIES, AND APPLYING THEM AT THE RIGHT TIME & WEATHER CONDITIONS IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH THE SAME OR WORSE RESULTS.

I was very satisfied with the work of the company and if dandelions or other odd weeds appeared, they returned for a re-application which was free of charge.
