very satisfied with the work performed. ash tree was leaning at a pretty good angle. roots were above ground on west side of tree. thought it might at some time fall over. so we decided to have it taken down. wanted to have it taken down and stump ground down below ground level and they did just that. clean up was excellent. great job.

Would recommend Treeworks as prompt, professional and reasonably priced. They will get my recommendation and business in the future (favorite tree service).

Ken's office staff returned my call within a few hours of my initial message requesting service. Ken came out and gave me an estimate that day. Estimate was fair and we agreed work would be done by the end of the week (it was currently Tuesday). On Thursday morning Ken left me a message that his crew was on the way. That was around 8am. I came home at about 10am just as the crew was pulling away from my property. The brush pile was completely removed and the ground underneath it had been raked and any little debris had been cleaned up. I had used another tree service for many years but was unable to get in contact with them this year. I think the owner may have retired. I tried to find another company to do this work for me for several weeks. My phone calls were not returned and I just had no luck. Thank goodness I finally found Ken and TreeWorks on Angie's List. I know I sound like a corny commercial, but Ken and his company are fantastic. I have many, many, many trees and I am certain that for as long as I live on this property, Ken will always be the guy I call.

Ken was a pleasure to work with. He came out a day after contacting him for the estimate. I was really surprised at the cost quoted. I had Ken remove a stump and trim two maple trees and it only took him a couple of hours to do it. When he was done he cleaned everything up and hauled it away.. I would definitely recommend Ken and his crew to anyone looking for quality on time service at a great price.

Our experience was the same as the other reviewers. Price was right and work was excellent. So was the cleanup. We were very happy with the work.

i thought the work was excellent. my property looks much better. i finally have sunlight in my backyard. ken didn't try to have me agree to having more trees cut just to jack up the bill. his bill was very reasonable. everything was cleaned up. i would recommend him highly.

Ken did everything I asked and was on time. He made sure the neighbor's land was cleaned up and my yard had all the chips etc cleaned up.

They were very efficient and polite. They did a good job and I will continue to use their services in future.

Came out and quoted both ways of either cutting the tree down that split and or try to save the tree by putting in a very large bolt. We knew it was up to us to make the final decision. They came out and did a requested. I would use them again as they we very affordable.

Great price, but he didn't clean up the sawdust (and it was a lot), and because the stump was against an accidental crabapple tree, he didn't take that side all the way down. I didn't think it was necessary to tell him I didn't care about the 3 inch diameter crabapple and to go ahead and grind it along with the stump. So one side of the stump, about 2 inches wide, is pretty much at or above ground level. I would call him again, but spell out that he would remove the sawdust and exactly what the scope of the work is to be.

Job went great. We were 100% satisfied and would recommend Tree Works to family, friends and neighbors.

Ken does amazing work at a very fair, reasonable price. He is clearly very skilled at what he does. Under one of our trees we have a large collection of expensive hostas, and Ken and his assistant took extra care so that none of our prized plants were damaged. I would highly recommend Ken for anyone who needs work done on trees on their property. However, do not confuse this awesome business with Forest City Tree Works (which did work on an adjoining property, damaged one of our trees (100% their fault), and refused to do anything about it). Be sure that you are dealing with Ken Ruiz of Tree Works--he is the best!

It was fascinating to see how a tree, with large limbs hanging over the house, was removed w/out damaging anything. They were very competent, friendly and fast. We were very pleased w/the job that they did and would not hesitate to hire them again. We would highly recommend them!

I could not recommend Ken's work more highly. He was extremely professional and courteous, and he clearly knows his stuff. He even went above and beyond, trimming off dead wood that was not included in the estimate (but which I agreed could be removed), just because he wanted the tree to look as good as possible. One of the trees is surrounded by a prized hosta collection, and he was extra careful not to damage a single plant.

Ken expected the trees that I needed trimmed or to be cut down. I went on his advice. Ken gave me a date to do the job, arrived when he stated. The job went great.Ken and his partner were very nice and professional.When the job was done, everything was cleaned up.

4 mediium trees and 3 small trees. Two arborists spent over 3 hours with saws blazing. they had chain saws on the fly and a chipper on the street. then cleaned everything up including vacuuming the work area and sweeping the street. They never slowed down and look exhausted when done. Wow. Then said it won't need to be touched for 3 years. The yard looks great and had friends and neighbors comment often. Very pleasant and thoughtful professionals. Expectations were met and exceeded. Said he will check whenever in the area for insect and disease problems.

I was very happy with the price and the service I received. Mr. Ruiz was friendly and knowledgeable, he gave me advice on other tree and landscape issues I had in my yard.

I needed some areas in my yard that have been neglected for years cleaned out. This included shrub and weed removal as well as tree trimming. One of the tree branches was very large and hung over my house which was a concern as I had a one year old roof. I also had some trees growing up very close to the house which I needed cut down and something done to keep them from returning. I had cut them previously but each year they came back. I called Treeworks because I knew his wife. I was cautious because I know things don't always work out when using a friend but was pleasantly surprised. Ken came out to the house promptly and was very knowledgeable about the trees and plants that were in my yard. He was extremely willing to share his knowledge with me. I showed him what I wanted done. He made some suggestions about other trees in my yard. We then sat down where he drew a schematic of my yard with trees highlighted of which he would trim or remove as well as a quote of $200. We scheduled a week in which the service would be done. The beginning of the week scheduled, Ken called and set up a day and time. He and his crew were prompt, worked very hard. I was amazed that they did work as quickly as they did. He took special care not to hurt my roof and completed the work. I did not check his work before I paid him and left and I when I went out later to look at the job IT WAS WONDERFUL! As Ken offers horticultural services and he is an Arborist, I will definitely use him again next summer to trim some very very large trees in my yard and possibly help me plan for the planting of additional trees in my yard.
