I had a kitchen sink that was draining very slowly and would back up. Additionally, I had a laundry tub that was draining very slowly. Jason & Chris promptly came to rod pipes. They both were professional and answered my numerous questions. The rodding of kitchen drain took longer than I expected because the kitchen drain did not clear immediately. They were were patient and worked through the presenting issues with both the kitchen sink and laundry tub. They also spent time after rodding pipes to look at a potential future project. I look forward to using perma seal in the future.

Communication with this company is seriously lacking and really diminishes the customer experience. In Oct., I met with Mike and finalized a project to replace the posts in my basement with Smart Jacks and complete a PolyLevel of my walkway. I was given a date at the beginning of Nov. to complete the work over a 2 day period. They told me later they needed to reschedule the work because they didn't have the right team scheduled to come out both day, So both projects were rescheduled. Then someone showed up without the permits and the work needed to be rescheduled again. By that point, the weather was deemed too cold and my polylevel work postponed until April! They can't control the weather-fine. The dates were again pushed back on the basement work due to a delay on another project. Not ideal, but okay. So when the basement portion of the work was finally completed, imagine my surprise when the project they said would take 2 days and the reason it needed to be rescheduled twice was completed in the span of hours on 1 day! The next issue, I freely admit my own culpability in which is payment. Payment is due the day of the project. When they called to confirm the Dec date for basement work, I confirmed with them that the portion due was the portion completed. Since again, I'm now waiting until April for the PolyLevel. At the time, they finished the project, I was not at home and I gave my husband my AMEX information to pay. Well they don't take Amex or Discover. Clearly I should have asked what credit cards they take, and I didn't. In any case, I've since tried to call multiple times to make a payment and left at least 3 messages on the payment line, one on a specific individuals line, and called and been unable to leave a message because the mailbox is full. I've gotten 1 call back that I missed while I was at work. We're officially over the month timeframe without me paying my balance and I'm beyond anxious at this point. I really just want someone to call me so I can pay the portion due. Given the issues with communication and scheduling I fully intend to just cancel the PolyLevel work.

Their representative, Jeff Kowilik, was professional and very knowledgeable. He actually pointed out a couple of potential leak spots that the competitor's rep had missed. Their business is family owned and has a great reputation. Anyone I spoke with gave them high marks. Because I had the work looked at near the end of the year the work won't be done until mid January. One positive of their work is their warranty is transferrable to multiple future owners of the house.

Horrible. Their sales rep came out on 06/20/18. I used Perma-Seal to replace some windows around 20 years ago and decided to replace the last original basement window. I showed the sales rep the glass block windows they had installed previously and said I needed one of the same. Instead of just writing up the order, he was at my home for over an hour looking for other ways to sell me product and services and also trying to sell me a nutritional product, which included watching his Utube videos. I paid a 20% deposit that day and an installation date of 08/10/18 was scheduled. I called around 08/08/18 to confirm the installation and was told that the installation had been scheduled for 09/10/18. It hadn't. I had asked for a Friday and 08/10/18 had been agreed to. Around 09/07/10, I was told that they would be out to install the window on 09/10. I left work early to meet them on the 10th, but they weren't installing the window, they had come back to remeasure the sales rep's measurements. They hadn't even started the window. They missed another installation date around mid-October. The window was finally installed on 10/30/18. I paid the balance due of $364.80 on that date. I had to ask them to come back out and clean up the mortar that was on the brick around the window, which they did. Around 11/16/18, I got a message from someone in their A/R department who was calling to "collect" the $456 due on the window, which I had already paid in full. I sent an email with the payment information, including the two Visa transaction numbers that comprised the total amount due the next day. Today I got a letter from a collection agency with a notice of claim for the $456 which I've already paid. I will NEVER use them again, nor would I reccomend them to anyone.

From the first appointment with the specialist who diagnosed the problem to the technician who did the repair, we had very positive results. The specialist, Robert, explained everything to us and took a lot of time assessing the problem. The repair technician, Vicente, was prompt, courteous and also explained the repair process. He cleaned up the area that he had been working in. I would highly recommend Perma-Seal to friends and family and would suggest that they request the same specialist to diagnose the problem and the same technician to do the repair. Both are excellent representatives of Perma-Seal.

Up until that window well, it went great. There was one window well that they were not able to put the cover on and we discussed on how to fix it. We agreed that they will order a riser so that the window could go up. For some reasons, they didn't want to do that and wanted to do a new whole window well. I tried to call the company several times but they just stopped communicating with me.

Sergio and his crew were on time and began work immediately. They were polite and very professional and completed the job in just one day. I inspected their work and was very pleased with it. The project was a bit expensive as we have a rather large area in the crawl space, but our hope is that it will eliminate any and all musty odors from our crawl space.

I have worked with Jeff Kowalik from Perma Seal for many years. As a Realtor, I have recommended them for all kinds of jobs. The work I have seen them do ranges from filling cracks to drain tile systems to vapor linings and even straightening out a bowed wall on a home. I have a cinder block basement in my home built in 1921. In order to keep moisture and ultimately mold away, Perma Seal installed a vapor barrier, a membrane, around the whole inside of the basement. And then with their suggestion of the dehumidifier, the basement is ready for finishing. First, their sales department is terrific. I use Jeff Kowalik, and he is knowledgeable and instills confidence with his knowledge of what is needed. The workers are on time, organized and get the job done. My personal experience was a 10+. I would highly recommend Jeff Kowalik & Perma Seal for any of your waterproofing needs.

Permaseal has worked on two houses of mine. Their inspection and quote process is amazing and the staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I worked with Jim Antonsen who went above and beyond to make sure the diagnosis fit the problem and we implemented the right solution. I would not go anywhere else for below grade work that is needed as this company is the best!

Very professional explanation of everything to be done. This is the second house I have used permaseal in. I was so satisfied the first time I would not even consider any other repair service.

Consultant was very thorough to explain what should be done prepared estimate with no pressure to sign contract. Contacted me with scheduled date after agreeing to terms. Technicians arrived on time explained what they were going to do and steps they would take to complete projects. Completed project and cleaned up the areas. Explained what was accomplished and what I should observe to insure no additional issues. TTlly satisfied and highly recommend them

Tomas and his crew did a fantastic job with all phases of the drain tile and sump pump installation. David G. also great with the electrical service work. Everyone was very polite and professional.

Jim Antonsen was our Foundation Consultant, and he was beyond great. has He provided excellent customer service and put his excellent knowledge of waterproofing on full display. He was a real professional, very helpful and responsive to all our questions and concerns.

It took WEEKS for estimator to come out, with the 1st appointment delayed another week because of car problems. As expected, Permanent Seal ‘advised’us to perform additional basement drainage work which we hadn’t asked for. (I fully understand that up-selling is the nature of these businesses.). Then, when told it would take another 3 months before the work could even begin (!), putting it into winter, I have decided to put off ANY decision until spring. My repair work is not crucial. I know that summer is Permanent Seal’s busiest season, but the long scheduling times would not make me recommend them for people needing work ASAP.

They are so busy, it takes quite a while to get work done. But they are top notch in what they do and Vicente, our technician, did an excellent job.

We selected Perma-Seal to do our basement waterproofing. We had experienced some issues with our window wells not draining earlier this summer that resulted in our basement flooding. Duane was so helpful with the consultation. He arrived on time and was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He really explained how Perma-Seal's waterproofing works and helped us understand what needed to be done to waterproof our basement. Perma-Seal came recommended to us and we would definitely recommend them to anyone else.
