Made an appointment. No one showed. After calling them, they stated they had an emergency and they left a message. LIE! Made another appointment, they called 5 days before the appointment to cancel because they do not do structural repairs within the city of Chicago. Reach your own conclusions. They didn't want the job. For all their advertising, this company is not worth it.

I finally gave up. Got estimate a year ago to rod an external pipe. They sent someone in mid-January to do the work. How did they expect the workman to do the job when the ground is frozen? Sent him away. Placed more than one call to the rep who did the estimate. He didn't return my calls. I finally got around to rescheduling the job -- they scheduled it for a month ago. I blocked out the entire day. Around 11 a.m. that day I phoned to try to get an estimate of when they'd arrive. Customer Service Rep tells me, and I quote: "You never scheduled an appointment." Uh, sorry, but yes I did. Senior customer rep takes over the call, apologizes, and puts me on the calendar for today. I block out the entire day again. Workman shows up, looks at the job, and says, "Oh. This isn't what they told me the job was. I don't have the right gear to do this. Do you want me to try anyway?" Uh, no. I send him away. Of course customer service phones in a bit and asks how they can win back my trust. Sorry, but too many errors.

Sherry was very professional, friendly and did a wonderful job educating us on our basement water seepage issues/problems and PermaSeal’s solutions. Put down deposit...work to be scheduled very soon.

WE HAD PROBLEMS WITH RAIN WATER SEEPING UNDER THE CONCRETE STAIRS FROM THE GARAGE INTO THE BASEMENT AFTER HEAVY RAINS. PERMA-SEAL REMOVED A 6-INCH WIDE ROW OF CONCRETE ALL THE WAY FROM THE STAIRWAY TO THE SUMP PUMP (APPROX. 30 FEET). THE 5 MAN CREW (FRANCISCO, ALEX, ANTHONY, MOORO, AND MANNY R.) WORKED GREAT AS A TEAM AND DELIVERED A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB! CAME RIGHT ON TIME AT 0830 AND FINISHED THE ENTIRE JOB BEFORE 5PM.

Called and we scheduled an appointment for July (month long wait). Got a call the next day saying they don’t service my area when is shows they do on Angie’s List. Please update all the locations you service.

Thank you to Perma-Seal employees Fidel-Cristian and Jesus-Jose Munoz. A 20' section of my foundation wall was bowed in. The previous owners had paid Perma-Seal to anchor the wall so it wouldn't get worse. (They anchored it with 5 rods connecting big steel plates on the inside of the foundation to big steel plates buried in the ground ~10 feet out into the year.) I paid Perma-Seal an additional $4000 to trench the 20' along the outside of the foundation so they could tighten up the rods and straighten out some of the bowing. (It's amazing how much concrete will flex!) The crew worked hard - including digging the trench by hand so they could dig around the existing rods. Bottom line: They did not completely get rid of the bowing, but I'd say they took 75% of the bowing out of the wall (maybe 2-3 inches). it looks much better than it used to look, so I am happy.

Ramon arrived on time and we went down to the basement. He explained what he was going to do and how. It was a little tight quarters but he made it work. He was very professional and polite and completed the work in a very efficient manner. He cleaned everything up when he was done and then he showed me what was accomplished. I was very pleased and satisfied with the job done. I recommend Perma-Seal very highly and Ramon's work as well. The only downside was the result of the office not confirming the appointment. I had to call that morning to see if the appointment was still scheduled.

They are very professional and recommended we start with the easiest and cheapest solution. Then reevaluate if the problem continues

We had drain tile replaced due to our basement flooding on several occasions. The gentelman selling the system was very persuasive and told you what you wanted to hear: drywall wouldn't be touched, everything would be covered, the guys do this all the time and know how to clean up after themselves, etc. The guys who actually did the project were very nice, on time, and very respectful. The mess that was left after, however, was ridiculous. The drywall was cracked and ripped, paint taken off the wall, red marks more than half way up the wall, rocks all over the basement, and everything covered in dust. Attempting to contact someone regarding the issues left behind was a nightmare as you couldn't get anyone to call back. On top of that, once we finally got ahold of someone and set up an appointment for them to look at the basement, she "forgot" and wanted us to wait another week for her to come. I know this is supposed to be a reputable company, and maybe this experience isn't the norm, but I would never request their services again. Things are poorly managed and there seems to be no structure in that office (including the poor customer service reps when you're able to talk to someone).

Installers Stole, the old sump system. made a huge mess on the property they did not clean up. the system they told me I needed to have installed did not effect the water issues in the basement. basement is still getting water. I have had them out several times. The standard responds is the drain tile is working fine, We don't know why you are still getting water in your basement. the last time they came out they put a camera down the drain. this time they saw something potentially blocking a pipe. told me they would setup a service call to repair this. that was 3 weeks ago. Now I just get voicemail. no response from anyone.

Way back 2015, after a request for an annual checkup for my sump pump installed by PERMASEAL., 1 week after, I got water in the basement. They then recommended that it was time for me to get a new one which I agreed. And here only less than 4 years, the poor workmanship of the crew, didn't tighten the pipe well so that it broke when water was being pumped out of the basement on a regular melting of the snow (no heavy rain) on 4/15/2019.and therefore flooded my basement with 3 " of water. It was also found that the 2nd sump pump with battery back was not even installed. Tried to resolve the issue with B W. and I got nowhere.

We will definitely hire them to do the flood proofing.

Robert Barscewski is definitely a superior Structural Foundation Consultant and knowledgeable customer service representative for Perma Seal. He explained the process thoroughly to me and my family, in a way that was easy to understand. He is very knowledgeable about the Perma Seal process. He is very customer-service focused, making sure that all our questions were answered thoroughly.

Jason arrived promptly at the time agreed upon. After inspecting the work area he said the installation will take around 1 hour. He worked very efficiently. Jason explained how the sump pump worked and made sure everything worked fine. The work area was cleaned to its previous condition. I was very pleased with his work and his explanation.

We consulted with Perma-Seal on a foundation crack as well as to inspect overall basement for structural cracks prior to finishing our basement. Robert Barscewski was prompt for appointment and provided honest and courteous service. The foundation crack was successfully repaired and we have not experienced any leakage.
