We are a family owned heating and air conditioning business that focuses on residential and lite commercial work. Opened in 1993 in downtown La Grange and offering fair prices, quality equipment and quality work. We specialize in boiler work, in floor heating and Space Pak installations has well as all the regular work. All employees work for us, are family oriented and hvac educated. We are licensed, insured and bonded. We feature 24 hour service, utilize flat rate pricing and do not up charge our customers. We take great pride in a job well done and are utilized by villages such has Countryside, Willow Springs and Hodgkins. Estimates on new equipment are free and we are people you can trust. There was a very slight charge for a larger size unit that the customer was made aware of prior to us coming out to do the work. No up charges were conveyed. We left the site neat, clean and the unit tested fine. We have done 4 calls for this customer. The last 2 were done by Alex. He started working with us back in 2005. The last call was to service 2 furnaces under our service agreement program. He cleaned both units and all was working well at the time. The service agreement program includes a Spring a/c cleaning and a Fall furnace cleaning. It also includes discounts on parts and emergency labor. For our customers that have units over 5 years old we recommend the program. Thanks for the nice report.

We had a customer try one of those duct cleaning specials a few years ago. The company came out with a leaf blower and a shop vac. Also they tried to charge more money of course. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for. We have 3 real duct cleaning machines that cost over 12k each. The method is proven and we never up charge. We also include free deodorizer called Proliminator. It is a high quality product, not a can of store bought deodorizer. Lastly we spend time to get the job done once and right, so it will last for a long while (up to and sometimes beyond 10 years). We did the duct cleaning on 10 returns and 13 supplies. The customer also had us deodorize, we did this at no additional cost. The total bill was $299.99. That is our special price currently for a 4 hour process. It can be seen at our web site under the air duct cleaning tab. There is also a You Tube video there that potential customers can watch on how exactly the process is done. We also recommended that the filer be replaced in 2 to 3 weeks after the duct cleaning. Description of Work: The entire process was professionally done. I was contacted immediately, given options on upgrades, scheduled efficiently, and the work was done well. I upgraded to the 95% efficient furnace. There was a rebate from the gas company that lowered the price difference. I was very happy with the service and installation and would use them again.

Thanks for the nice report. To service a furnace or boiler we charge $75.00 to diagnose and then give the customer a firm price on repair. In most situations we have the parts on the truck, do the repair and complete the work. In rare situations we may have to order the part and either wait for it to come in or run out and pick it up. If the part is picked up that day the customer may get a small charge to pick it up. We try to keep pricing fair and reasonable for all of our customers both new and existing. We also offer 24 hour service, after hours there is a slightly higher rate to get the work done.

We take great pride in doing a good job for our customers. We have 3 duct cleaning machines and they do a great job. We take the time needed to do a complete job. Once we are done, the vents should not need to be cleaned for on average of up to 10 years after we are complete. We offer deodorizer if desired. We do not surprise customers with extra charges. This customer purchased the big deal. Upon their purchase we promptly made contact. They provided us with the information needed. They did upgrade to the 95% unit which also got them a Nicor rebate of $250.00. We set up a date and went out and did the work. Everything went very well. The unit comes with one year labor. 10 year parts if registered and a 20 year limited lifetime heat exchanger warranty. The installers do clean up after themselves and they reported back to the office, that everything went well. We also offered a optional humidifier and thermostat if desired at a extra cost. The job takes one day to do or 6 to 8 hours for normal installation. The nice report is greatly appreciated. We hope to make lifetime customers by providing great customer focused service. Ameristar is made by American Standard. It is a entry level 95% furnace. American Standard was recently rated a number one product by a leading consumers magazine. We have been offering their products to our customers for over ten years. They are very reliable and dependable.

Rich came out and did the clean and check. We also cleaned the water heater while we were there. Everything checked out good. The guys really do a good job on service. We preform a 21 point clean and check and many filters for both humidifiers and air cleaners are typically stocked on the trucks. We also have carbon monoxide detectors on each service truck, so should the tech question a units operation they can check it properly. It is recommended to have your furnace or boiler cleaned yearly. Thanks you for the nice report and call should you need our services.

Checked with the tech Brandon and he stated that everything went very well. The customer and Brandon talked at length. All vents were cleaned and deodorized. I personally traded a couple of e mails with the customer after the job and the unit running out of gas was never stated. We do have extra fuel containers in the truck and the workers have a gas card to easily refuel should it be needed. It is possible that it happened at the end of the duct cleaning and in that case there may not have been a need to refuel. The customer purchased the deal through Angie's list and was a little out of our range (Mount Prospect) but we handled the call anyway. Brandon has been commended in the past for doing a great job and to my understanding he did a good job here has well. Thanks for the decent report.

This customer bought the replacement a/c through Angie's lists Big Deal. We installed it and everything went fine. The customer got a new unit outside, equipment pad, electrical whip, flush of the line set with r-x11, and a new indoor coil. A handful of days later he did call and the unit was not cooling. We responded quickly and repaired the problem. After the repair the unit was topped off with the newer ozone friendly freon r-410a and the unit was up and running again. We back up our work and warranty it has well. We strive to do right by our customers and look forward to keeping them has customers for a long time. I HAD THEM COME OUT TO GIVE US A QUOTE. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY TOOK A LONG TIME GOING OVER OUR ENTIRE SYSTEM AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL US THINGS WE DON'T NEED, LIKE A NEW FURNACE, WHICH OTHER COMPANIES HAVE DONE. THE PRICE THEY QUOTED IS REALLY GOOD. WE HAD A COUPON FROM THE COMPANY, SO WE DECIDED TO USE THEM. THEY CLAIMED TO BE THE ONLY COMPANY QUALIFIED TO WORK ON A SPACE PACK. THE HOUSE DIDN'T COOL OFF, AND WHEN I CHECKED THE UNIT, THEY HAD NEVER EVEN CLEANED THE FILTER. IT TOOK ANOTHER TWO WEEKS TO COME OUT AND CLEAN THE FILTER. HE DID THE WORK, AND THEN THE UNIT FINALLY FUNCTIONED. HAD I NOT BEEN PERSISTENT, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN EVEN WORSE SITUATION THAN IT ALREADY WAS.
