Ted came out promptly after receiving an e-mail from us inquiring about Space-Pak. We walked through the house and spent a couple hours going over the cooling requirements and some of the concerns we had about undertaking this major step. A few days later we had our estimate and were able to compare with competitors bids, and shortly thereafter, elected to sign the contract with Assured AIr. Within a week we were put on the schedule and everything started right on time. I don't recall exactly how many days Assured's crew was at the house, maybe 3 in total, but certainly well within the parameters/scope of the entire project. The job was completed very professionally, the crew was courteous and a delight to work with, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone contemplating A/C in an older home, like ours, where there isn't conventional forced air ductwork.
Description of Work: Assured Air was one of 3 bids we received to install small duct air conditioning (Space-Pak) to our home. They were the least expensive option, yet provided the most supply runs of the three companies. They also figured out a way to install 4 supply runs in a tricky sun room that we were almost going to exclude due to the difficulty in getting AC to that part of the house.

This customer has a prairie style home very similar to a Frank Lloyd Wright home. Our workers are in older homes all the time and have been with us a long time. The crew's work for us and we do not hire any sub contractors. All workers are covered by workmans compensation. We take great pride in saving our customers time and money. After a visit to the home and taking measurements. We take the time to do a heat load calculation to determine the size, then we make a thorough material list, add our overhead for the time we are on the job, add labor, total the numbers together and then we have a fair price. We do not price up jobs based on the customers location, their car, or how the home is furnished. Every customer gets a fair price on every estimate. The high velocity systems we install go smoothly thanks to the workers having installed many systems into older homes. The workers take pride in doing the job properly and will even let out your dog if you ask them to. Many customers give us keys at the start of the job and trust us to do a great job even while they are at work. Although it is recommended that customers be home while the work is going on, if they can. When the customer is home we can easily address concerns and answer questions has well as get answers to questions. Some customers meet the crew on the first day for one to two hours then head off to work. Our regular working hours (9:30am to 6:00pm) allow the customer to catch us at the end of the day to fill them in on the days happenings and properly comminicate with them. Customer satisfaction is important to us. On this job the owner was asked to provide some pictures of his kitchen remodel so we could see how the kitchen was re constructed and determine the best outlet placement. After providing us with the pictures the kitchen work went very smooth. This customer had a front sun room that was harder to get the a/c outlets into, but we found a way down to the basement and located them in the floor. The job went very well and was finished in 5.5 work days. The bottom line is that we provide quality equipment, quality workmanship and a fair price. We have been doing this for our customers for going on 19 years and it is our pleasure to do so.

Their quality, responsive, punctuality and professionalism was excellent. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Assured Air Ltd. They have done servicing of my heating and air conditioning. The a/c was done in the later part of May and heating was done today. I spent about $55 for the a/c and the heating was still higher because I was actually having replacement work done on it.

Durring this call we replaced the Bell and Gossett FB-38 feed valve, Extrol 60 expansion tank, Pressure relief valve and a radiator valve. We tested the boiler system aferwards and it checked out fine. Boiler systems are touchy at times. We have found that since many of the parts are in water and the sytem is not ran from end of spring to begining of fall that some problems may occur. It is important to have the system checked yearly both for cleanliness and operation. Most hot water boilers operate between 12 psi. and 18 psi.. These are normal operating pressures. When the unit is cold the pressure is typically 10 to 12 psi.. This can easily be checked at the boiler gauge which is at the top of the boiler. The gauge shows pressure and temperature. So if you are checking the pressure make shure you read the pressure part of the gauge. In order for the boiler pressure to be normal the water feed valve must be working properly and the expansion tank bladder must be free of leaks and properly filled with the right ammount of air. Also, just like you have a strainer on your kitchen faucet, there is a strainer in the feed valve. This should be cleaned every couple of years by a professional. We have found that customers that maintain their boilers yearly have less problems. We offer boiler clean and checks early fall at decreased prices. All of our customers are placed on our mailing list and a reminder post card is sent to their home 2 times a year. After this call, this customer was good to go. We appreciate the nice report and look forward to keeping this customer satisfied. This customer not only purchased a boiler from us. They purchased a Space Pak central air system as well. Since we do add a/c to alot of older homes, we do work on alot of boilers both water and steam. Keep us in mind for all your heating and cooling needs. We also can replace stuck, painted or inoperative radiator valves. So keep us in mind.

This call was to service the customers Aprilaire 350 humidifier. Richard went out to the home and found the humidifier leaking. The humidifier was installed in 2004. He found that the plastic feed tube had a crack in it and was broke. There was some slack on the tube, so he cut the tubing back and re-attacehd it. He noticed that the humidifer pad was dirty and replaced that durring this visit. Once the humidifer was repaired and serviced he took a look at the boiler we installed again back in 2004. He noted that the pressure was low and found that the feed valve was not maintaining pressure and the expansion tank was leaking. The customer was informed and we were givin the ok to do the work. We ordered the parts and returned 4 days later. Back to the humidifier. We find that our customers that maintain their humidifiers have better things to say about them. They also notice improved humidity, no electric shocks, no dry skin and less nose bleeds. If the humidifier is maintained yearly people typically rave about them (all good raves). We do get alot of customers that do not maintain them at all. Those customers typically state that the unit just does not work. We typically find on those calls that the pad or filter is very dirty with lime and scale build up from hard water. We also find that the water orifice is sometimes plugged and will not allow water to flow over the pad. We recommend that the humidifer be serviced yearly to enshure proper operation, otherwise ther is no sense in pruchasing it. On a side note. By adding humidity in your home in the winter, your pores open up and you can set the heat at 68 and it will feel like 70 in the home. Also the humidity is great for wood surfaces, keeping them properly hydrated.

One of the things I notice about the work that Assured does, is how neat they are. Wires are tucked away, duct work fits, no loose ends. They clean up after themselves and leave no mess.
Description of Work: AGAIN, Ted and his crew at Assured Air did a great job for us. We have used Ted and Assured for 20 years. They replaced furnace and air in our first house, and again this summer in our new house. We also have Assured clean our furnace every year. This summer we needed our furnace and A/C replaced. Our first quote was from Assured. They are competitive and professional. Ted always seems to hire the right people. The do excellent work and do not need to be supervised. I trust Ted and his crew and highly recommend them.

Thank you for the nice report. We have been working with this member for close to 20 years. We did his first home and installed a high efficiency Bryant system with a humidifier and a chimney liner back in 1994 for just under $3,500.00. Over the years we preformed regular maintenance for this member and repairs. Recently at the members new home we installed a complete Lennox system. This included a 95% efficient furnace, R-410a high efficiency a/c, air cleaner, thermostat, and a duct cleaning. The job went well and we provided a system that qualified for current rebates and tax credits. Upon meeting with the member he informed us that the heat when it is on, runs all the time. He also informed us of some hot spots in the home. Upon providing a quote we addressed these issues to aid with the problems he was having. We installed the system in August and the job took about 2 days. Members cost was just over $8,000.00 before rebates and tax credits. The initial quote was given to the member in June. We did check on and off with the customer, but did not overly bother him. At our company we respect our customers personal time and privacy. To date we have had no complaints on the installation. Everything seems to be work well for the member. Estimates or quotes are free. We try to inform our customers and educate them to the best of our ability. We currently have a good grade with Angie's list and a good satisfaction and referral rate with our customers. Please see our many other good reports. We would like to share our experience with Assured, including employees/owner Ted and Rich. The job took a month, and during that time, we encountered minor issues with the company. It was not until after the job was completed, when the problems began. During the install, although we were not living at the home, we hired Assured because of the extensive knowledge and reputation. We trusted them to complete the job 100% without the owners of the home breathing down their neck. We were wrong. Overall, they had a very big job and did a good job on 70% of the work, however the problems we have encountered since the install are as follows: Upon completion of job, we found human feces in our 3rd floor tub, and two toilets. The home had no plumbing, which the contractor was aware of. I understand the emergency…. but they did not clean up after themselves. About a week before completion, we were told our service panel was not adequate, and therefore they could not finish the job until the service panel was updated. This information SHOULD have been told to us prior to the job starting. It cost us an additional $2000.00 to update our service panel. The system was never balanced, so some areas of our home get more heat/air than others. It is very inconsistent temperatures throughout the home. The variable speed on the furnace was never set, so our first winter in the home, our 1st floor got to 2 degrees, causing plumbing pipes to burst. When we called Assured, we were charged a service visit and were told we probably messed it up ourselves.Upon our first summer in the home, we found out there was never any freon put into the air-conditioners. We were, again, charged for a service call, and told they DID put freon before and it must have leaked out. Some ductwork is not sealed properly.Assured cut holes in walls/ceilings but never ran ductwork. (3rd floor and 1st floor bathroom)Our 3rd floor does not get below 80 degrees in the summer. We have had to install window air conditioners.Furnace on 3rd floor was installed facing the ducts, which now provides limited access for repairs and IMPOSSIBLE to repair/replace the heat exchanger if it breaks.PVC exhaust is leaking on our basement floor. We have since, had various HVAC companies our to our home, who have stated the unit is undersized for the home. They have also informed us of many of the problems I have listed above. The contractors have informed us that the job was completed with mediocre results. One particular knowledgeable, contractor (Home Comfort Systems) has since bid us an additional $3000.00 job to fix Assured’s system and retrofit it to zone off the 2nd/3rd floor. He was genuinely concerned about the quality of work that was done here and wanted to help us rectify the extensive problems. We are possibly looking into legal action against Assured because we paid them over $18,000.00 in full, and the work is simply not up to par. Assured is aware of some of these problems, and they informed me during our last paid service call, that they would no longer come to our home and fix anything else. We hope this review has given you insight into the morality and work ethic of Assured. I am sure they are a good company given small jobs, however, if they could not complete the job with 100% efficiency, they should not have taken this project on. We are very unhappy, each winter and summer when the problems of Assured resurface day after day. Good luck if you hire them. Make sure you keep a good eye on what they are doing.
Description of Work: In 2005/2006, we hired Assured to perform a complete install of forced heat and air in our home. The home is 100 years old, and 5500 square feet. The home was vacant at the time, giving the contractors full range of access and flexibility into our home. This required removing the existing boiler/radiator system and installing two high efficiency furnaces, two air conditioners, ducts and vents.

It is not fair that a job that was started in 2004, and was mostly completed in 2006 be placed with our 2011 reports. This is a prime example of how the internet is fast and loose like the wild west. Since Angie's list was created we have maintained a high grade; Angie’s List has given us Super Service awards for 2008 and 2009. We also have a 98% satisfaction and referral rate currently. We know this through the survey process where we survey all of our customers. Please review our reports to get a better look into our company. This is a difficult report to respond to, but here it is. Let me start at the beginning. When I first met the member for the estimate I took a tour of their home. Initially, I recommended multiple Space Pak systems to add a/c to the home while preserving the existing boiler system; however, the members had already received an estimate from a Trane dealer (Vent Htg. & Cooling) on removing the boiler system and adding 2 forced air systems. It was pointed out that adding the 2 forced air systems is more messy, destructive and may require some access holes. It was not a huge concern for them since the home needed repair and was vacant. This is the direction the member’s wanted to go due to costs. We submitted a bid for the project based on new windows, up-graded electrical work and adding insulation. At the time of the estimate, we discussed the other companies layout, equipment locations, sizing, pricing, and background. I did measure the home and provided a heat load calculation based on the upgrades that were to be made to the home while reviewing the other companies paperwork. Upon submitting the bid and conveying a 5% discount, we acquired the job. The members were very nice customers, but they were diy's (do it yourselfer’s). We were in contact with all three of members during the project (in person & by phone) which was completed at (address). The majority of this project took about 3 weeks. We started the job on 9/20/2004. We were allowed to start the heat on 2/1/06 (once the plumbing was completed). We were allowed to turn on the air conditioners on 8/14/09 (once the electric was completed), this is about the time the home was occupied by the members. This home sat vacant from 9/20/2004 (or before) to around 8/14/2009 (to the best of our knowledge). Installations carry a one year parts and labor warranty; 99.5% of the work was completed and paid for on 2/01/06. Due to many problems with the home, we could not complete the project in a timely manner. Here are the reasons. There was termite damage on the 1st floor where the furnace was located. The furnace was removed and reinstalled after the termite damage was fixed. One of the members had to go out of state, and put another member in charge. An animal infestation (squirrels and chipmunks) occurred on the 3rd floor and an immense amount of time elapsed before we could complete the next phase. It is possible the animals left behind feces and urine. We did repair insulation the animals had eaten. Our office was only a couple of minutes away with 2 bathrooms and we were in the heart of downtown La Grange. I do not believe that our workers left any feces behind; but if the plumbing is out in a home and we are doing a large project there, we normally recommend that customers order a port-a-potty. Our employees confirmed that we used the office bathrooms and the local 7-11 bathroom during the job. The system was not balanced due to the members not wanting to pay for re-visits to the home. The furnaces were not wired for the 2 stage heat due to the fact the home was un-occupied. If the pipes did burst in the home. It was due to neglect of the member not wanting to finish the entire project. You simply should not leave a home un-attended for a large amount of time. The a/c units were evacuated and placed with a holding charge until the electric panel work was completed. There was a leak in one line set, caused by the person doing the trim wood work. We repaired the leak and put the system on line. We did pull a permit with the village of La Grange and did not receive any code violations for this job to date. We ran all the duct work as discussed. The members did mention that they were going to put a theater room in the basement, however it wasn’t completed based on our last visit. We informed the member’s there might be temperature differences on the third floor and suggested an optional attic fan; but at that time, they did not place any emphasis on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor is the highest point on the home and all the heat rises to the highest point. We offer solutions such as zoning, mini-split systems and additional ventilation to help with this issue. The furnace on the 3rd floor had to be placed in an acceptable position per manufacturer specifications. It is serviceable, but is also located in a kneewall which offers a little extra space. An employee confirmed the whole blower assembly could be removed for servicing. To remove the heat exchanger (should it fail) the return and supply duct work can be disconnected, and the unit could then be dragged a few feet into the room where the heat exchanger can then be replaced. If the pvc exhaust is leaking, this is solved by a simple service call. We add primer and glue and seal up the leak, cost is about $64.00. Pipes can come loose from time to time, but it is rare. The homeowners were given a heat load calculation based on the homes measurements, I am not sure if they finished the project entirely. Upon our last drive by it looked like the old windows were still in place. We finally had to cut ties with these members on 8/14/09. They were very upset about a couple of $50.00 service call charges. It is tough to let a customer go, but this project was not ran properly from the start. There were too many starts and stops and way too much time elapsed. They did bounce a check for the close of $8,000.00 & not everybody is cut out to be a general contractor. Looking back, if the project was run properly by a GC and they had a construction loan in place they may have had better results. We did the best we could with this project. We hold no grudges against the member’s family and wish them the best. Please see our other reports they depict a current and proper image of our company. We do take pride in our work, clean up after ourselves, offer quality equipment and have a fair price.

This homeowner did their homework. She had many questions that we were able to answer along with some requests. She did visit another customers job which we were wrapping up and called our references. The job went according to plan due to our vast experience in installting high velocity systems into older homes. She did check Angie's list as well and found us to be in very good standings all the way around. The home to air condition posed no complications and the system was installed in a week. Frank the lead installer has been with us for years and takes great pride in his work. We are happy that all went well. We try our best to satisfy the customer, provide name brand products and a fair price.

The workers were very professional and cleaned up each day before they left. The supervisor kept me up to date on their progress, as I was at work during the installation. They went over the placement of the air vents on the first day of the project. After the project was complete, they demonstrated the use of the system and important maintenance. I have used the AC frequently this season and it works perfectly. The boiler destruction was an all day project. Again, they cleaned up sufficiently after they were done. Ted, the owner, was very patient with me in answering all my questions about the best system for my home.
Description of Work: I had central AC installed and replaced the boiler. I had Spacepak central air conditioning installed and replaced my original 95 year old boiler.

It is nice to handle both the boiler and a/c job for our customers when possible. We installed a cast iron boiler for this customer about 82% efficiency. We also do high efficiency boilers up to 95% efficient. We do take the time to measure all the radiators in the home and take all the measurements of the home to preform a heat load calculation. It is important to us, to provide our customers with properly sized products. Both the boiler and high velocity installation went well. Our workers are very experienced in working in older homes and strive to do a good job for our customers. We did do a free balancing on air flow for this customer and we include it on every high velocity job within the first year of installation. It is recommended to have both systems cleaned and checked yearly. We do provide reminder cards and service agreements (if desired) for our customers. All customers are surveyed and we currently have high ratings through the survey process.

WE DO AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB DUCT CLEANING BECAUSE WE KNOW AND INSTALL DUCTS. WE HAVE A CLEAN KING 20 HORSE POWER MACHINE THAT IS GAS DRIVEN AND SITS AT THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOME. WE RUN AN 8 INCH HOSE INTO THE HOUSE FROM THE MACHINE. THEN WE ROD OUT EACH VENT WITH A 140 PSI. COMPRESSED AIR WHIP. THE EQUIPMENT DOES A REAL GOOD JOB ON HOMES UP TO 3000 SQF.. TO CLEAN A SINGLE FURNACE HOME IT NORMALLY TAKES 2 TO 3 HOURS. WE DO OFFER DIS-INFECTING IT IS OPTIONAL AND IS INCLUDED FOR FREE WITH EVERY DUCT CLEANING. WE RECOMMEND THAT IF THE CUSTOMER HAS SMALL CHILDREN THAT THEY GO OUT OF THE HOME FOR A LITTLE WHILE DURING THE DUCT CLEANING. SINCE WE INSTALL DUCT WORK INTO HOMES, WE HAVE A GREAT UNDERSTANDING OF WHERE THE DIRT IS AND HOW TO GET IT OUT WITH OUR EQUIPMENT. WE CAN ALSO DO DRYER VENT CLEANING WITH THE MACHINE AND IT TO WORKS VERY WELL. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS AND THANKS TO THE CUSTOMER FOR THE NICE REPORT.

INSTALL: Knowing that the installation of a SpacePak system is a specialized process (# of outlets, length of runs, etc.), we contacted SpacePak directly to ask for trusted installers. That's how we found Assured Air. Al came to our house in February to look at our job and prepare a quote for us. He was professional, very thorough and collected all of the necessary room-by-room data to properly calculate the system size that we needed. They turned the quote around relatively quickly, even providing us with the manual J calc output. Their bid was in the middle of the group that we had collected, with the highest bid being 50% more. We selected Assured Air based on a combination of: positive ratings on Angie's List, positive feedback from the regional SpacePak rep, competitive pricing, Assured Air's knowledge of the product and our comfort with Al. Installation was scheduled shortly after our accepting their proposal. Frank and Carl did the installation and they were very professional. We have two young daughters and Frank and Carl did their best to work around nap schedules, etc. The installation took a little over a week - and went according to their initial plan for the most part. There were a couple of changes that were necessary due to house-specific structure issues that couldn't have been known until installation started. Install was actually a very clean process compared to what we were prepared for. They reinstalled a couple of small areas of drywall that were removed for access, and rough patched the small pilot holes they needed to drill in the plaster ceilings. Great installation job. STARTUP: Frank came back late May / early June to start and charge the system. He had to make a couple of trips since the weather wasn't cooperating and wasn't quite warm enough to properly check the charge. Apparently the anti-frost switch in the air handler kept activating during the initial charging due to the cooler temps outside (~60-65F), shutting down the condenser due to a lack of load in the house (<75F). Frank was finally able to get the system charged and set the initial balancing of the system (placement of various orifices at the beginning of the supply tubing to equalize the airflow throughout the three floors of living area). The following couple of weeks were very hot so we were able to get a good read of which rooms were too cool and which needed additional cooling. Assured Air provides one free balancing after their initial balancing. Al came back to do the subsequent balancing the second week of July, using temperature data for each of the rooms that we supplied. He also checked the charge and filter. It feels like we are just about there with possibly one room that continues to be a little warm. The weather has been cooler since the rebalancing, so we'll post an update here once we warm up again! Overall: very pleased at this point with the service, product and personnel...recommended.
Description of Work: Installed a 5 ton SpacePak central air system and a 24,000 LG mini-split in a 3,700 sq. ft. 1929 colonial that previously had only hot water heating. Also installed an April Aire whole-house humidifier.

In the end, I was on a tight budget, so I had another contractor bid the job. I offered Ted the job for $1000 over the competitor's bid because he had been so helpful from the very beginning, but Ted couldn't match. I have no complaints about Ted, his products, or his service, but tight budget forced me to go with the other contractor.
Description of Work: Ted came out to bid total HVAC package for a gut remodel for my home in Northfield. Ted gave a thorough evaluation of the home to make sure the units would be properly sized (furnace and A/C). He educated me on the various units and tradeoffs and presented the entire line of American Standard, including air cleaners, thermostats, etc. Very thorough, very responsive.

THE MEMBER FOUND US THRU ANGIE'S LIST. WHEN WE RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE WE RESPONDED QUICKLY. HOWEVER THE LOCATION OF HIS HOME WAS SLIGHTLY FURTHER NORTH THAN WE USUALLY GO. THE DRIVE TIME TO HIS FRONT DOOR WAS JUST OVER 45 MINUTES. HIS TIMING WAS GREAT WE WERE SLOWER AND OPEN TO THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING A JOB OUT OF OUR NORMAL SERVICE AREA. I PROVIDED HIM WITH A ESTIMATE AND PER HIS REQUEST RE-VISITED THE SITE A SECOND TIME TO MEET WITH HIS GENERAL CONTRACTOR. I WAS VERY UP FRONT WITH HIM AND DISCLOSED THAT IT WOULD BE HARD TO BEND ON THE PRICE DUE TO THE DISTANCE OF THE LOCATION AND THE LONGER THAN USUAL DRIVE TIME. ALSO 294 WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WE HAD THE BURDEN OF THE COST OF TOLLS. I DID TIGHTEN THE PRICE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. HIS GENERAL CONTRACTOR TRIED TO TALK US INTO THROWING IN SOME DUCT WORK REVISIONS FOR FREE. I EXPLAINED TO THE MEMBER AND HIS GENERAL CONTRACTOR THAT THE JOB WAS FAR FOR US TO MANAGE AT OUR CURRENT PRICING LEVEL AND IT WOULD BE TOUGH TO MANAGE AT A LOWER PRICING LEVEL. I DID OFFER THEM TO CONSIDER USING A COMPANY THAT WAS LOCATED IN NEAR BY GLENVIEW. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT RUNS THAT COMPANY THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE CUSTOMER'S NORTHFIELD LOCATION. AT THAT TIME THE MEMBER WAS NOT INTERESTED SINCE HE HAD ACQUIRED A COUPLE OF OTHER BIDS. OUR NORMAL PRICING IS USUALLY EXCELLENT WHEN A CUSTOMER COMPARES US TO SIMILAR SIZED COMPANIES. IT IS TOUGH WHEN PRICE IS THE BOTTOM LINE INTEREST OF THE CUSTOMER. WE DO TRY TO DELIVER THE IMPOSSIBLE, WHICH IS THE BEST EQUIPMENT, THE BEST INSTALLATION AND THE BEST PRICE. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT COMPANY HE ENDED UP USING BUT I DO REMEMBER THAT THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR HAD RECOMMENDED A COMPANY HE HAD DONE JOBS WITH BEFORE. IF THEY USED THAT COMPANY THEY MAY HAVE BEEN WILLING TO COMPROMISE ON PRICE SINCE THEY HAD A PRIOR RELATIONSHIP WITH MR. PICKS GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND POSSIBLY WERE LOOKING TO MAINTAIN THAT RELATIONSHIP. I THINK WE DID EVERYTHING RIGHT AND PRESENTED A THROUGH ESTIMATE, REFERENCES, AND THE HEAT LOAD CALCULATION. IF THE JOB WAS ABOUT A 30 MINUTE DRIVE FROM OUR LOCATION I WOULD HAVE DECREASED THE PRICE BUT NOT A $1,000.00. I THINK IF A CUSTOMER COMPARES A COMPANY US TO A SIMILAR SIZED COMPANY WITH A SIMILAR OVERHEAD THAT THE PRICING SHOULD BE SIMILAR. WE ARE NOT UNION MEMBERS AND I KNOW FOR FACT THAT WE ARE MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE THAN COMPANIES THAT HAVE UNION EMPLOYEES. IF A CUSTOMER SHOULD CONSIDER US FOR A JOB. I THINK THAT IF THEY DO THEIR RESEARCH THEY WILL FIND US TO BE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE TO HANDLE ANY PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH.

They were quick, neat, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone. Although this type of system is a bit expensive for the size of our house, I expect that it will eventually pay for itself in energy efficiency. Plus, no more moving window units around!
Description of Work: We had an air conditioning system installed into our old home. We have radiator heat, and did not want to switch to forced air or have a tone of duct work taking up the space in our very small home. Assured Air installed the flexible hose for the A/C, and it works great. They were quick, neat, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone. Although this type of system is a bit expensive for the size of our house, I expect that it will eventually pay for itself in energy efficiency. Plus, no more moving window units around!

WE COMPLETED THE JOB FOR THE MEMBER ON 5/16/08. THE JOB TOTAL WAS $11,840.00 WITH 2 ADDITIONS TO THE ORIGINAL QUOTE. HE ADDED A HUMIDIFIER AND A DIGITAL THERMOSTAT. WE FINANCED THE JOB FOR HIM THRU AMERICAN GENERAL ON A 12 MONTH NO PAYMENT - NO INTEREST PROGRAM. THE JOB WENT WELL SINCE WE DO MANY OF THESE SPACE PAK INSTALLATIONS INTO OLDER HOMES AND HAVE AN EXTENSIVE BACK ROUND IN COMPLETING DIFFICULT INSTALLATIONS. WE SPECIALIZE IN INSTALLING THE SPACE PAK SYSTEM AND HAVE COMPLETED HUNDREDS OF INSTALLATIONS. WE HAVE EVEN INSTALLED THIS SYSTEM INTO A COUPLE OF FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT HOMES. WE ARE SAID TO HAVE A EXCELLENT FAIR PRICE ON THE SPACE PAK SYSTEM ALONG WITH EXTENSIVE INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE. WE DO NOT HAVE A REVOLVING DOOR AT ASSURED AND TRY TO KEEP AND RETAIN OUR MAIN EMPLOYEES. OUR EMPLOYEES MAKE THE DIFFICULT INSTALLATIONS LOOK EASY DUE TO MANY PAST COMPLETED INSTALLATIONS. WE ALSO DO BOILER WORK, RADIANT HEAT, AND REGULAR FORCED AIR INSTALLATIONS. WE TRY TO OFFER OUR CUSTOMERS A FAIR PRICE, NAME BRAND EQUIPTMENT AND A QUALITY INSTALLATION. I MYSELF HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH INSTALLING HIGH VELOCITY TYPE SYSTEMS SINCE 1988 AND HAVE AN EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE IN PRODUCT OFFERING AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE. WE HOPE TO KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY AND SATISFIED FOR YEARS TO COME. AND WE CURRENTLY HAVE A HIGH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RATING AND REFERRAL RATING.

Assured went out of their way to make sure we got a good furance at a good price. They were very professional when providing us with our options of the different efficiencies 80, 90 or 95 etc. They also got the old furnance up and running while they ordered and installed the new furnance. The first contractor we contacted didn't try to get our furnace working while we were choosing the new furnace. Assured beat them in price and service. I would recommend them to anyone needing a furnance.
Description of Work: One day in Februaury the board on our 22 year old furnance died. Assured got it up and running while we chose which type of furance we wanted to replace it with. They were more than helpful in making sure we got a good deal in the heart of winter.

ONE OF THE BEST THINGS WE RECOMMEND OUR CUSTOMERS OR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO DO IS NOT PANIC AND TO TAKE THE EMERGENCY OUT OF THE NO HEAT SITUATION. WE HAVE HEARD MANY HORROR STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF DURING A NO HEAT SERVICE CALL. THEY EITHER HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR A REPAIR OR HAVE BEEN SOLD A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THEY DID NOT NEED. USUALLY THE COST OF THE EQUIPMENT IS ALSO AN INFLATED PRICE. SO WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PANIC. IF YOU DO YOU MAY MAKE A BAD DECISION. WE HAVE TOLD CUSTOMERS TO TURN THE UNIT OFF AT THE THERMOSTAT AND SWITCH AND EITHER BAKE SOME COOKIES OR PLACE A FEW ELECTRIC HEATERS INTO THE SPACE UNTIL WE GET THERE. YOU CAN USE THE STOVE TO HEAT A GOOD PORTION OF THE HOME AND USE THE FAN ON THE FURNACE TO CIRCULATE THE AIR. BUT YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE THE OVEN WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING. IN MANY CASES WE ARE ABLE TO GET THE CUSTOMER HEAT AND TAKE THE EMERGENCY OUT OF THE SITUATION. WE OFFER THE CUSTOMER THE OPTION OF REPAIRING THE UNIT TEMPORARILY AND IF THEY PURCHASE A NEW UNIT FROM US WE ARE HAPPY TO RE-SOCK THE PART AND GREATLY REDUCE THE REPAIR COST. THEN THE CUSTOMER CAN APPLY THEIR MONEY TOWARD A NEW PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. WE ALSO WILL GIVE THE CUSTOMER A VARIETY OF UNITS TO FIT THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS AND BUDGETS. WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO QUOTE UP TO THREE UNITS PER QUOTE. WE TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EACH SYSTEMS FEATURES AND BENEFITS AND FOR EXAMPLE WE SHOW THEM WHAT TO EXPECT 90% PVC VENTING TO LOOK LIKE VIA PICTURES. WE WANT EACH OF OUR CUSTOMERS TO MAKE A GOOD SOLID EDUCATED DECISION. YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY HIGH END IF YOU ARE MOVING IN A YEAR OR TWO. OR IF YOU ARE LEAVING THE HOME SHORTLY AND THE UNIT CAN BE REPAIRED YOU MAY BE BETTER OFF REPAIRING IT AND LET THE NEXT HOMEOWNER REPLACE IT. WE DO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. WE OFFER FINANCING AND ACCEPT VISA, MASTER AND DISCOVER CARDS. WE ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO WORK WITH OUR CUSTOMERS AND IN SOME CASES WE HAVE ACCEPTED PAYMENT A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. WE ALSO OFFER 24 HOUR SERVICE AND OUR OVERTIME RATES ARE VERY FAIR. WE KEEP AN EXTENSIVE STOCK OF PARTS TO GET YOUR UNIT UP AND RUNNING. SO THE NEXT TIME YOU NEED A REPAIR TO YOUR FURNACE OR AIR. TAKE MY ADVICE AND TAKE THE EMERGENCY OUT OF THE SITUATION. I THINK YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID. AND IF IT IS A/C TIME YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO THE MALL AND ENJOY THE FREE A/C WHILE SHOPPING. THANK YOU!

Came home from a doctors appointment only to find that there was something wrong with the furnace. It was an extremely cold day---we had no heat and a terrible smell coming from the furnace. Called Assured Air and they had a service technician out in less than thirty minutes. Within an hour our furnace was up and running. We were more than pleased with the quick, efficient professional service we received. Extremely satisfied and will continue to use them for any future problems and would reccomend this company to anyone with a heating/air conditioning problem.

ONE OF OUR SERVICEMEN HAD JUST FINISHED HIS LAST CALL ABOUT MID-AFTERNOON. HE CHECKED IN WITH THE OFFICE TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER CALLS PENDING. THE OFFICE DISPATCHED THE CALL TO HIM AND HE WAS QUICKLY ON THE WAY TO THE CUSTOMERS HOME. THE CUSTOMER HAD COMPLAINED OF A BURNT PLASTIC ODOR IN THE HOME AND NO AIR FLOW COMMING OUT OF THE REGISTERS. WE INFORMED THE CUSTOMER THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE A BLOWER MOTOR THAT HAD GONE BAD. THE BLOWER MOTORS HAVE A PLASTIC COATING OVER THE WINDINGS AND WHEN THE MOTOR STOPS WORKING THE ELECTRICITY BAKES THESE WINDINGS CAUSING A TERRIBLE SMELL AND NO OPERATION. THE MOTOR WAS ORIGINAL IN THE FURNACE AND IT WAS GOING ON SIX YEARS OLD. USUALLY THESE MOTORS WILL LAST ABOUT 10 TO 12 YEARS BUT, THE FURNACE PLACED IN THIS HOME WAS A LOWER GRADE BUILDERS MODEL UNIT AND THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE SHORTER LIFE EXPECTANCY. WE HAVE ALSO SEEN SOME MOTORS GO OUT EARLY DUE TO THE CUSTOMER PLACING A 3M PLEATED FILTER INTO THE FURNACE. THE PLEATED FILTER PUTS MORE STRAIN ON THE MOTOR BY MAKING IT WORK CONSIDERABLY HARDER. THESE FILTERS CAN RESTRICT AIR FLOW AND DECREASE THE AMMOUNT OF AIR THAT CROSSES OVER THE MOTOR AND KEEPS IT COOL DURRING OPERATION. WE HAVE HAD CALLS COME IN WHERE THE CUSTOMERS HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL THEY SWITHCED FROM A REGULAR ONE INCH FIBERGLASS FILTER TO THE PLEATED STYLE FILTER. I WOULD RECOMEND THAT IF YOU ARE USING A REGULAR FILTER, TO STAY WITH THAT STYLE OF FILTER. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FURTHUR CLEANING THE AIR IN YOUR HOME. I WOULD RECOMEND A WHOLE HOUSE AIR CLEANER THAT IS PROPERLY SIZED TO YOUR FURNACE. WE HAVE MEDIA AIR CLEANERS AVAILIABLE THAT CAN CLEAN THE AIR ABOUT 35% BETTER THAN A REGULAR FILTER AND WE HAVE ELECTRONIC AIR CLEANERS THAT CLEAN THE AIR ABOUT 45% BETTER AND ARE LESS RESTRICTIVE. SOME CUSTOMERS WILL BUY INDIVIDUAL AIR CLEANERS FOR EACH ROOM NOT REALIZING THAT THERE IS A WHOLE HOUSE SOLUTION BUT, WE HAVE HAD THE WHOLE HOME SOLUTION OUT FOR YEARS AND IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN THE INDIVIDUAL UNITS. THIS CUSTOMERS TIMING WAS EXCELLENT. WE REPLACED THE MOTOR IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. WE STOCK 3 DIFFRENT SIZE MOTORS ON EACH SERVICE TRUCK. WE DID DO A FOLLOW UP CALL ABOUT A DAY LATER AND THE CUSTOMER WAS VERY SATISFIED. IF YOU CALL US OUT WE WILL SATISFY YOU TOO! AND MAKE YOU A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. OUR PRICING IS ALSO EXCELLENT I HAVE HEARD OF SOME COMPANIES CHARGING HAS MUCH AS $400+ DOLLARS. I WOULD RECOMEND THAT YOU CALL A FEW COMPANIES AND QUESTION PRICING BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO A SERVICE CALL. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THIS CUSTOMER FOR AN EXCELLENT REPORT AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THEM AND ALL CUSTOMERS FULLY SATISFIED.

The experience was great. The owner of the company assessed what we needed, and made some suggestions and pointed out that our humidifier was installed incorrectly. The work started the very next day. They were very professional, neat and punctual. Great suggestions were made, and it was obvious that they were very experienced bout the HVAC industry.

THIS HOME OWNER INSTALLED THEIR OWN COMPACT GARAGE HEATER BUT NEEDED ASSISTANCE IN VENTING THE UNIT. THE HOMEOWNER WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE UNIT HAD TO BE VENTED THROUGH THE ROOF WITH A DOUBLE WALL B-VENT PRODUCT. WE HAVE INSTALLED MANY GARAGE HEATERS AND EARLY ON WE DISCOVERED A SPECIAL STAINLESS STEEL HOOD THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OVER SIZED DRYER VENT THAT COULD ACCOMMODATE A SIDE-WALL TERMINATION. THE STAINLESS STEEL VENT LOOKS GREAT ON ANY SURFACE WE HAVE MOUNTED IT TO BRICK, VINYL SIDING AND EVEN WOOD SIDING. THE HOT BY-PRODUCTS OF COMBUSTION FLOW OUT OF THE HOOD WITHOUT OVER HEATING THE WALLS SURFACE.THIS CUSTOMER HAD A NEWER BRICK HOME AND WANTED A NEAT CLEAN LOOK AND THIS WAS THE PERFECT ANSWER TO THEIR PROBLEM. OUR INSTALLER GENTLY SCORED THE FACE BRICK THEN FINISHED THE PENETRATION WITH A CHISEL, SECURED THE HOOD AND THEN VENTED THE GARAGE HEATER. HE TESTED THE UNITS OPERATION AND ALL WAS WELL. THE CUSTOMER ALSO NEEDED TO HAVE THEIR POWER HUMIDIFIER BOTH CLEANED AND RE- WIRED. THE PAD (FILTER) IN THE UNIT WAS A FEW YEARS OLD AND WAS SCALED-UP FROM THE HARDNESS OF WATER IN THE AREA. WE REPLACED THE PAD AND CLEANED THE HUMIDIFIER. WE MOVED THE HUMIDISTAT FROM THE SUPPLY TO THE RETURN AND WIRED THE HUMIDIFIER TO COME ON WHENEVER THE FAN CAME ON IN THE FURNACE. THE SOLUTION TO THE HUMIDIFIER MADE THE UNIT OPERATE PROPERLY AND READ THE HUMIDITY ACCURATELY. WE THEN REMOVED THE CUSTOMERS ONE INCH FILTER SLOT AND INSTALLED A TRION HE-2000 ELECTRONIC AIR CLEANER. THIS AIR CLEANER HAS METAL WASHABLE FILTERS AND YOU NEVER NEED TO PURCHASE REPLACEMENT FILTERS FOR IT. IT DOES A GREAT JOB FILTERING THE AIR AND ADDRESSES PROBLEMS SUCH AS ALLERGIES, DUST, GERMS, MITES ETC. AND CAN CLEAN PARTICLES FROM THE AIR DOWN TO ONE MICRON. WE HAVE FOUND THAT THIS AIR CLEANER IS ONE OF THE BETTER ONES ON THE MARKET AND DELIVERS THE CUSTOMER CLEAN AIR AT A MINIMAL PRICE IN COMPARISON TO OTHER BRANDS. THE INSTALLATION OF THE AIR CLEANER WENT WELL AND THE INSTALLER DID A TIGHT INSTALLATION. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THIS AIR CLEANER IS THAT IT MAKES A SNAPPING SOUND ONCE IN A WHILE. THAT IS NORMAL OPERATION FOR THIS UNIT. WHEN A LARGE PARTICLE OF DUST ENTERS THE AIR CLEANER IT ELECTRICALLY SNAPS AND ADHERES THE PARTICLE TO THE FILTER. OTHER THAN THE LIGHT SNAPPING NOISE THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE TO CLEAN THE AIR IN YOUR HOME. WE DO CARRY MANY STYLES OF AIR CLEANERS. FROM THE REGULAR ONE INCH FILTER TO THE MEDIA FILTERS AND THEN OF COURSE THE ELECTRONIC AIR CLEANER. WE ARE HAPPY TO PRICE A CUSTOMER UP ON ANY OR ALL MODELS THAT THEY ARE INTERESTED IN. OUR MOST POPULAR AIR CLEANER IS THE MEDIA AIR CLEANER. IT IS A MUCH LOWER COST THAN AN ELECTRONIC AND STILL DOES A PRETTY GOOD JOB CLEANING THE AIR. THE ONLY DRAW BACK OF THESE UNITS IS THAT YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A FILTER EITHER ANNUALY OR BI-ANNUALY. THE REPLACEMENT FILTERS ARE ALSO FAIRLY EXPENSIVE. WE ALSO RECOMMENDED TO THIS CUSTOMER THAT THEY CONSIDER A ULTRA-VIOLET LITE. THE ADDITION OF A UV LITE TO ANY FORCED AIR SYSTEM CAN CAN GREATLY REDUCE MOLD, BACTERIA AND OTHER GERMS. I PERSONALLY ADDED ONE TO MY SYSTEM BOTH AT WORK AND HOME. AND I HAVE FOUND THAT MY KIDS ARE IN SCHOOL MORE AND DO NOT MISS HAS MANY DAYS OF SCHOOL DUE TO SEASONAL COLDS OR FLUES. AT WORK I NOTICE MYSELF THAT WHEN THE A/C KICKS ON I NO LONGER COUGH AS MUCH. UV LITE TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE 50'S AND IT WAS ORIGINALLY USED IN HOSPITALS AND COMPUTER ROOMS. THE WAY IT WORKS IS SIMPLE THE UV LITE IS VERY BRITE AND KILLS THE GERMS AND BACTERIA THE PASS IT AND THEN THE FILTERS JOB IS TO MERELY COLLECT THE DEAD GERMS AND BACTERIA. THE UV BULB LASTS FOR A WHILE. I HAVE NOT REPLACED MINE IN OVER 5 YEARS. BUT I AM TOLD THAT THE BULB IS MORE EFFECTIVE DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF ITS OPERATION AND EACH YEAR FOLLOWING ITS EFFECT LESSENS. I HAVE NOT NOTICED A DIFFERENCE HAS OF YET. BUT REPLACEMENT BULBS ARE AVAILABLE AT A REASONABLE COST. I DO APPRECIATE THIS CUSTOMERS GREAT REPORT. HERE AT ASSURED AIR WE HAVE MANY YEARS OF PROVEN EXPERIENCE. WE ALSO TRY TO RETAIN ONLY THE BEST HELP IN ORDER TO MAKE THE CUSTOMERS OVERALL EXPERIENCE A GOOD ONE. THE INSTALLER THAT DID THE WORK AT THIS CUSTOMERS HOME HAS BEEN WITH US SINCE 1996 AND WE CONTINUALLY EDUCATE OUR WORKERS. THE BEST THING WE AT ASSURED AIR DO IS DELIVER A VERY FAIR PRICE FOR OUR SERVICES. MOST COMPANIES ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE BOTTOM LINE. WE ARE INTERESTED IN MAKING LIFE LONG CUSTOMERS AND ASSISTING THEM WITH ALL THEIR HEATING AND COOLING

I ended up having someone else come and look at it, and all I needed was freon. Assured Air had told me that a relay switch was broken and there were some other broken parts in the unit. I confronted the owner of Assured Air and he said that there must have been some sort of miscommunication--that the tech had thought I wanted a more efficient unit. There was no miscommunication. I feel really bad that this happened, as I had used this company for about 15 years and now they seemed to want to take advantage of me.
Description of Work: I was having a problem with my central air unit. They said I needed to buy a new unit for $2500. I didn't do anything about it.

WE WERE CALLED OUT TO THE CUSTOMER'S EAST SIDE OF CHICAGO LOCATION ON 5/31/07. JUSTIN, A SERVICE MAN WHO WAS WITH US FOR 4 PLUS YEARS PREFORMED THE CALL. HE FOUND AT THAT TIME THAT THE OUTDOOR A/C CONDENSER WAS THE ORIGINAL UNIT INSTALLED WITH THE HOME. THE UNIT WAS AN ADDISON BRAND AND WAS EITHER FROM 1984 OR 1988. THE SERVICEMAN FOUND THAT THE TIME DELAY IN THE UNIT WAS OUT AND THE UNIT DID NEED SOME FREON AS WELL. THE UNIT WAS JUST ABOUT AT THE END OF ITS LIFE EXPECTANCY AND VERY INEFFICIENT. IT WAS ABOUT A 8.0 S.E.E.R. UNIT AND TODAY'S CURRENT UNITS ARE 13.0 PLUS S.E.E.R. THE HOME HAS 2 UNITS AND WE REPLACED THE OTHER UNIT DUE TO A COMPRESSOR BURN OUT ON 7/6/96 FOR THE PRICE OF $1,275.00. AT THAT TIME WE INSTALLED A 11.0 S.E.E.R UNIT. THE SERVICEMAN, UPON FINDING THE 2 PROBLEMS WITH THIS 1984 TO 1988 UNIT, SIMPLY RECOMMENDED THAT NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO UP GRADE TO A MORE EFFICIENT UNIT INSTEAD OF PUTTING MORE MONEY INTO AN OUTDATED IN-EFFICIENT UNIT. HE QUOTED HER A NEW 13.0 S.E.E.R UNIT INSTALLED FOR $1,674.25 WITH A 5 YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY. AND A 13.0 S.E.E.R. UNIT WITH A 10 YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY FOR $1,730.00. HE ALSO DID OFFER HER TO FIX THE UNIT BUT THE O.E.M TIME DELAY WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND WOULD THEN NEED TO BE EITHER BY-PASSED OR A UNIVERSAL ONE COULD BE INSTALLED. THE BILL THE CUSTOMER RECEIVED WAS $50.00 NOT $75.00 AND WE ARE LOCATED IN THE WESTERN SUBURBS. THE TRAVEL TIME TO THE LOCATION WAS OVER 1/2 HOUR ONE WAY. THIS CUSTOMER WAS A GOOD CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS BUT HAD SUFFERED A LOSS IN HER FAMILY. SINCE HER LOSS SHE HAS HAD A TOUGH TIME DEALING WITH OTHERS AND THOUGHT WE HAD TAKEN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF HER. I WILL LET YOU DECIDE IF WE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY OR IF WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER. THE $50.00 THE CUSTOMER WAS CHARGED WAS NEVER PAID TO US EITHER, AND SINCE THEY WERE GOOD CUSTOMERS FOR MANY YEARS WE DID NOT PURSUE COLLECTING IT. ALSO IN LOOKING THROUGH THE CUSTOMER'S FILE THIS UNIT HAD REQUIRED FREON FAIRLY REGULARLY. WE BELIEVE THAT THE CUSTOMER WOULD HAVE BENEFITED BY REPLACING THE OLD UNIT WITH A MORE EFFICIENT ONE INSTEAD OF PAYING ANOTHER COMPANY JUST UNDER A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS TO REPAIR THEIR OLD ONE. AT THAT TIME WE ALSO HAD AVAILABLE UP TO ONE YEAR SAME AS CASH THAT COULD HAVE DELAYED THE BILL OF THE NEW UNIT. AT ASSURED WE HAVE EXCELLENT PRICING AND IT IS VERY FAIR. WE DID OFFER THIS CUSTOMER THE CHOICE TO EITHER REPAIR IT OR REPLACE IT. THE RECOMMENDATION WAS SIMPLY TAKEN THE WRONG WAY BY THE CUSTOMER. PLEASE LOOK AT OUR MANY OTHER REPORTS. PRIOR TO THIS ONE WE HAD AN "A" RATING. WE ARE ALSO HAPPY TO PROVIDE MANY REFERENCES THAT WILL ATTEST TO OUR EXCELLENT ACHIEVEMENTS. IN 2008 WE RECEIVED A SUPER SERVICE AWARD FROM ANGIE'S LIST SINCE WE MAINTAINED AN "A" RATING, AND WE ARE CUSTOMER CARE DEALERS WHICH MEANS WE SURVEY MOST OF OUR CUSTOMERS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE A 96% SATISFACTION RATE AND A 98% REFERRAL RATE. WE FEEL THAT THIS CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WRITE A REVIEW ABOUT OUR COMPANY SINCE THE SERVICE WAS PREFORMED (5/31/07) A LONG TIME AGO, THE FACTS ARE WRONG AND THE BILL WAS NEVER PAID. YOU BE THE JUDGE, BUT REST ASSURED IF YOU CALL US OUT YOU WILL 1. SAVE SOME MONEY 2. GET A GREAT PRODUCT AND 3. GET A GREAT INSTALLATION OR SERVICE. WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 16 YEARS AND TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. WE HAVE NO B.B.B. COMPLAINTS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN LITIGATED AGAINST. WE DO BUSINESS THE WAY EVERYONE SHOULD. ABOVE BOARD. WE ARE SORRY THIS CUSTOMER FELT THIS WAY ABOUT US AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED. BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. IF THIS CUSTOMER DOES CALL US BACK WE WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP HER TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY. THANK YOU.

Initially, we were only going to replace the cooling part of the system. Once we worked through the thought of replacing the furnace (almost 20 years in service) then adding a couple hundred $s for the larger air cleaner and humidifier was an after thought. The variable speed blower and 2 stage heat exchanger was determined as a bigger bang on the "comfort" since the furnace is located off from a central location. Assured Air was the third contractor we interviewed out of the five. Three out of the five didn t want the job from the high pricing submitted and one didn t submit at all but shot us a number. Assured Air provided us with a menu of written options in a very compelling way of "Good, Better and Best" scenarios that were actually "Good and Better" between Lennox and American Std. We interviewed 5 contractors on July 1st and 2nd and awarded the project to Assured Air late on the 2nd and they started at 830am the next day and were done before 6pm.
Description of Work: Replace and upgrade heating and air conditioning system in a 2k sf 1950's ranch home with basement and crawl space. All new equipment was furnished and installed in about 8 hours by 2 technicians (LOL or 6 if you count the last hour). The old system was completely removed by the contractor. The old system included the furnace, coil, coolant piping, condensing unit and pad, electrical disconnect, supply plenum and return air connections were disconnected and removed by the contractor. The major equipment installed was by Lennox (above average in over all quality); a XC-13 3ton 14.5 SEER condensing unit, 3 -ton coil (more cooling for less energy), TXV perfect metering of coolant (quote by Ted ?), in-out copper coolant lines, pad, disconnect, whip, and variable speed blower and 2 step 110k Btu furnace G61mpv60c110, PRO 4000 digital thermostat, 5 inch mechanical air cleaner (Trion 1400), AHUMD 300 humidifier, plenum and return air sheet metal revisions, gas connections, clean-outs and drains, etc A total turnkey replacement and installation of the HVAC system and controls in about 8 hours. Ted estimated 8-10 hours for installation by a 2-man team and it probably would have been 10 if 2 other teams hadn t shown up in the 8th hour. The work was started and completed July 3rd, 2008. Just before the start of a 3 day weekend. The only loose ends were one of the technicians left a screwdriver behind and we have 12 months SAC to pay for it.

FIRST THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL INFORMATIVE REPORT. IF YOU NOTICE THE DATE WE DID THE JOB JUST BEFORE THE 4TH. OF JULY AND YOU KNOW THAT IT IS A BIG HOLIDAY WITH EVERYONE. THIS JOB NORMALLY TAKES ABOUT A DAY AND A HALF BUT IN ORDER TO GET THE CUSTOMER UP AND RUNNING FOR THE WEEKEND WE MADE SURE IT WAS DONE THAT DAY. ONCE WE NOTICED THAT THE JOB NEEDED A LITTLE EXTRA PUSH THAT DAY WE PULLED OUR OTHER CREW OFF THEIR JOB TO ASSIST AND OUR WORKING SUPERVISOR ALSO HELPED. THE OTHER JOB WE WERE DOING AT THE TIME DID NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLETED HAS RAPIDLY. THE JOB WENT GREAT AND THE CUSTOMER HAD A/C FOR THE HOLIDAY. DURING THE CUSTOMERS ESTIMATE THEY SHOWED INTEREST IN BOTH THE BRANDS WE CARRY SO WE QUOTED THEM ON BOTH. WE CARRY BOTH LENNOX AND AMERICAN STANDARD BOTH BRANDS ARE VERY HIGHLY RATED BY BOTH CONSUMERS REPORTS AND REMODEL HOME GUIDE. WE ALWAYS OFFER A GOOD, BETTER AND BEST QUOTE. THIS ALLOWS THE CUSTOMER TO MAKE AN EDUCATED DECISION AND BASED UPON THE TIME THEY WILL BE STAYING IN THE HOME THEY CAN MAKE A CHOICE. FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU ARE STAYING IN THE HOME FOREVER YOU SHOULD BUY THE BEST. IF YOU ARE LEAVING WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS YOU SHOULD PROBABLY BUY THE GOOD EQUIPMENT OR LEAST EXPENSIVE SINCE IT REALLY DOES NOT MATTER FOR RESALE. MOST PEOPLE FOR RESALE JUST WANT TO HEAR THAT THE EQUIPMENT IS NEWER. SOME TIMES WE DO LEAVE A TOOL ON THE WORK SITE. USUALLY THE CUSTOMER GIVES US A CALL SHORTLY AFTER THE JOB IS COMPLETED AND WE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK UP THE TOOL WITH IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AT ASSURED WE ALWAYS GIVE OUR BEST POSSIBLE PRICE. WE DO NOT PICK AND CHOOSE OUR WORK. WE TAKE THE GOOD JOBS AND THE THE BAD JOBS.IF YOU RECEIVE A PRICE THAT IS OUT OF LINE IN COMPARISON TO YOUR OTHER ESTIMATES USUALLY THE OTHER COMPANY IS NOT HIGHLY INTERESTED IN OBTAINING THE WORK. WE ALSO WILL WORK WITH A CUSTOMER TO OBTAIN WORK BY EITHER PRICE MATCHING ANOTHER ESTIMATE OR REVIEWING OUR ESTIMATE TO SEE IF WE CAN SWEETEN THE DEAL. WE ALWAYS TRY TO GO THE EXTRA DISTANCE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. RECENTLY WITH THE SLOWED ECONOMY WE HAVE HAD REQUESTS TO START A 1.5 TO 2 DAY JOB ON A FRIDAY AND WRAP IT UP ON A SATURDAY. WE HAVE BEEN ACCOMMODATING OUR CUSTOMERS REQUESTS. THIS ALLOWS THE CUSTOMER TO LOOSE ONLY ONE DAY OF WORK INSTEAD OF TWO IF THEY WANT TO BE HOME FOR THE INSTALLATION. AT ASSURED AIR, LTD. WE ARE CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO OUR PERSONAL BEST FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.

My experience was excellent. It was a very professional bid. The form they used to compare the quality and price of units was so helpful. They were on time and worked so hard. They ran into a difficulty, a blockage in our chimney, and the lead craftsmen spent an hour and a half trying to get through to our furnace and he didn't have to do it. They did their best to try and save us from having to purchase a hot water heater. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They were helpful in helping us in getting energy and air credit.
Description of Work: They ended up putting in a new furnace and hot water heater.

THIS CUSTOMER LIKED THE FORM WE USE TO QUOTE JOBS LIKE REGULAR FURNACE OR A/C REPLACEMENTS. ON THE FORM WE GIVE THE CUSTOMER A CHOICE IN GOOD, BETTER, OR BEST EQUIPMENT AFTER DISCUSSING THEIR OPTIONS. THE FORM IS EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND AND MOST OF THE PRODUCTS WE SELL ALSO USE THAT STYLE TO BREAK DOWN THE DIFFERENCES IN THEIR EQUIPMENT. WE MAKE IT EASY FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND TAKE SOME OF THE HASSLE OUT OF THE PURCHASE FOR THEM. RICH, OUR WORKING SUPERVISOR, CHECKS THE JOBS WE HAVE GOING ON PERIODICALLY. ON THIS JOB OUR INSTALLERS RAN INTO A CHIMNEY ISSUE AND RICH SHOWED UP AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM FOR THE CUSTOMER QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY. WE ALWAYS TRY TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. IF A CUSTOMER PURCHASES A UNIT THAT IS ELIGIBLE FOR A REBATE OR TAX ENERGY CREDIT WE ALWAYS BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION SO THEY MAY RECEIVE ALL THE BENEFITS ENERGY STAR UNITS MAY OFFER.

THIS CUSTOMER HAD US OUT FOR A SERVICE CALL ON HIS ATTIC FAN WHICH WAS NOT WORKING. WE FOUND THAT THE CONTRACTORS GRADE 4 YEAR OLD ATTIC FAN HAD A FAILED FAN MOTOR THAT WAS MECHANICALLY STUCK. WE REPLACED IT WITH A BROAN ATTIC FAN. THE BROAN ATTIC FAN HAS A MUCH BETTER MOTOR AND WARRANTY. UPON FINISHING THE ATTIC FAN THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED A FURNACE CLEAN AND CHECK. WE PREFORMED THE CLEAN AND CHECK AT THE SAME TIME AND IT CHECKED OUT FINE. WE ARE ABLE TO HANDLE JOBS BOTH BIG AND SMALL AND THIS IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF A SMALLER JOB.

WE INSTALLED A STERLING RF-60 60,000BTU DIRECT VENT HEATER FOR THE GARAGE. THIS SIZE UNIT WILL HANDLE A 3 TO 3.5 CAR GARAGE. IT IS PIOLETLESS AND VENTS SIDE WALL OF THE GARAGE WITH A 4 INCH FLUE PIPE. TO MAKE THE EXTERIOR TERMINATION LOOK GOOD; WE INSTALLED A STAINLESS STEEL TJERLUND 4 INCH VENT HOOD. IT LOOKS LIKE A DRIER VENT. THE UNIT IS THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED WITH A HONEYWELL DIGITAL PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT. WE SUSPENDED THE UNIT WITH UNISTRUT; IT LOOKED GREAT AND WAS SAFE. THIS CUSTOMER ACTUALLY PARKED HIS COLLECTORS CORVETTE BELOW IT. THE UNIT ALSO HAS THE OPTION OF FAN ON CAPABILITY. THIS ALLOWS AIR TO GENTLY CIRCULATE IN THE GARAGE. IT CAME IN VERY HANDY SINCE THE CUSTOMER SMOKES IN HIS GARAGE. THE UNIT WAS ATTRACTIVE, QUIET AND OPERATED EFFICIENTLY. IT TOOK 1 DAY TO INSTALL. I INSPECTED THE JOB AFTER IT WAS COMPLETE AND THE INSTALLATION LOOKED GREAT AND WAS NEAT AND CLEAN. THE GAS WAS OFF THE MAIN HOUSE LINE AND ELECTRIC WAS CLOSE AND OFF OF THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER. WE ALSO OFFER SIMILAR UNITS BY ADP, LENNOX AND MODINE. WE INSTALL ABOUT 5 GARAGE HEATERS PER YEAR. MANY OF THE INSTALLATIONS SOLVE PROBLEMS SUCH HAS COLD FLOORS IN THE ROOMS ABOVE. WE ALSO INSTALLED A SUPPLY VENT FOR A BATH ROOM THAT WAS LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT. THAT ALSO WENT VERY WELL. IT PROVIDED HEAT TO THE BASEMENT BATH AND MADE IT MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE IN THE WINTER MONTHS. GARAGE HEATERS AND DUCT WORK ARE A COUPLE OTHER SPECIALTIES WE DO. WE HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND DO A GREAT JOB.

The came out promptly to estimate the job, and did a fine job designing and installing the new ductwork. They had to come back a few months later, when the rehab was nearly finished, to install the floor and ceiling register covers. However, they refused to actually install them, but just dropped them off. I had to have someone else install them.
Description of Work: Relocated and replaced heating ductwork. This was an old house where the ductwork was designed for a coal furnace. The furnace had been replaced, but the ductwork was original. The house was a gut rehab, so they came out early to do the work when the walls were bare, before the new drywall was installed.

THIS CUSTOMER HAD US RE- WORK HIS DUCT WORK IN HIS OLDER HOME IN CHICAGO NOT TO FAR FROM OAK PARK. THE JOB TOOK ABOUT 4 DAYS AND 2 MEN. THE WORK CAME OUT VERY GOOD AND WAS COMPLETED FULLY EXCEPT FOR THE GRILLS ON 01/12/06. AT THAT TIME THE CONTRACTOR WORKING ON THE HOME WAS NOT FINISHED AND TOLD US THAT HE WOULD PUT ON THE GRILLS. WE LEFT HIM A BOX OF GRILLS AND PREFORMED A GRILL COUNT TO CONFIRM THAT ALL OF THEM WERE THERE. SOME TIME PASSED AND WE HEARD FROM THE CUSTOMER IN OCTOBER. HE STATED THAT THE CONTRACTOR DID NOT PUT ON THE GRILLS NOR COULD HE FIND THE BOX OF GRILLS WE LEFT BEHIND. WE AGREED TO DROP OFF A SECOND BOX OF NEW GRILLS AND THE CUSTOMER COULD POP THEM ON. WE DID DROP OFF THE SECOND BOX OF GRILLS ON 10/21/06. AT THAT TIME THE CUSTOMER WAS HAPPY AND WE EXPLAINED HOW TO PUT ON THE GRILLS. WE RECOMMEND THAT CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE WRAPPED UP IN A TIMELY MANNER. CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS THAT DRAG ON FOR A LONG SPAN OF TIME ALWAYS HAVE SOME GLITCHES. IT IS NOT UN-COMMON TO HAVE MATERIAL FROM THE PROJECT TO BE TOSSED INTO THE TRASH DURING ONE OF THE MANY CLEAN-UPS. OR BE CARRIED OFF THE JOB BY ANOTHER TRADESMAN BY MISTAKE. IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT FOR THE HOME OWNER TO BE AVAILABLE DURING THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THIS CUSTOMER FOR GOOD FEEDBACK. THE JOB CAME OUT GREAT. THE CUSTOMER SAVED SOME MONEY UTILIZING OUR SERVICES. AND WE APPRECIATE THE JOB AND PROMPT PAYMENT. THANK YOU! TED...

Ted DeCarlo, owner came out promptly to give me a quote & explained my options in detail and why my old system was a misfit for the application. I scheduled the work after comparison shopping. The workers were prompt the first day & courteous. Unfortunately, one stepped through my ceiling when in the attic. There was no plywood covering the area between the support beams. They did offer to fix the ceiling & I let them. Unfortunately the job is not perfect and a crack is still noticeable. Rich, the manager has advised me that per their contract: ''This estimate does not include patching or repairs to walls, ceilings, floors, etc...'' I understand if this referred to new vents. But they actually stepped through my ceiling. Their stance is that it was an accident, but I would expect professionals to avoid this type of accident. Except for this issue the work seems to be ok. The furnace is noisy and the air conditioner can't be fully tested until the springtime.

DURING THE ESTIMATE I NOTICED THAT THE PREVIOUS INSTALLATION WAS DONE INCORRECTLY. I WALKED UP THE PULL DOWN STAIR CASE AND FOUND A 90% VERTICAL FURNACE INSTALLED IN AN ATTIC SPACE THAT COULD SEE FREEZING TEMPERATURES. USUALLY A 80% PRODUCT IS RECOMMENDED FOR THIS APPLICATION. FURTHERMORE THERE WAS NO AUXILIARY DRAIN PAN AND A PLENUM THAT WAS POPCORNED WITH FLEXIBLE DUCT WORK. SHE ALSO INFORMED ME OF THE MULTIPLE SERVICE CALLS THAT WERE DONE OVER THE YEARS. WE SUBMITTED A BID TO INSTALL A NEW 2-STAGE HORIZONTAL FURNACE, DRAIN PAN, AND CORRECT SOME OF THE POOR DUCT WORK. THE JOB WENT AS PLANNED WITH 2 MEN WORKING IN THE ATTIC SPACE FOR 3 OR SO DAYS. WHEN I DID THE ESTIMATE THE CUSTOMER HAD A FEW LOOSE PIECES OF PLYWOOD IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA BUT NONE ELSEWHERE. OUR WORKER DID ACCIDENTALLY TAP ONE SECTION OF EXPOSED DRYWALL IN THE ATTIC CAUSING A BREAK IN THE CEILING. WE DID SQUARE IT OFF AND PATCH IT. WE ALSO MADE A RETURN VISIT A COUPLE WEEKS LATER TO FINISH SANDING IT. THE CEILING WAS NOW READY FOR PAINT AND PATCHED AND WE WERE COMPLETE. SHE INFORMED US THAT THE PATCH WE REPAIRED WAS IN THE SAME EXACT SPOT THAT THE CABLE GUY STEPPED THROUGH A COUPLE OF YEARS PRIOR. WE DID NOT GET THE FEELING THAT THEY REPAIRED IT FOR HER. WE DID REPLACE A CONDENSER ON THE MAIN FLOOR SYSTEM AND SHE IS ON OUR SPRING START UP LIST TO DOUBLE CHECK THE FREON LEVEL FREE OF CHARGE. WE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. WE DO A LOT OF ATTIC WORK,AND ONCE IN A WHILE AN ACCIDENT MAY OCCUR BUT WE FIX IT.

Pretty good. I felt there may have been some communication glitches between myself and Mr. DeCarlo, that impacted the crew doing the work. Like how to enter the house, also, the humidifier requires a drain and that is a problem currently, in my basement. I didn't know that was a requirement, and the crew was instructed to drain the system into the floor drain, which doesn't work. So, now I have to hire a plumber to fix the drain.

FOR THIS MEMBER WE DID INSTALL A FURNACE 2-STAGE 80% EFFICIENT, AIR CLEANER, HUMIDIFIER, CHIMNEY LINER AND CLEANED THE DUCTS OUT FOR THE PRICE STATED. "WHAT A DEAL". WE DID COMPLETE THE JOB AND RECIEVED PAYMENT AT COMPLETION WITH NO COMPLAINTS. IF A CUSTOMER IS UNHAPPY WITH A JOB WE ARE NORMALLY NOT PAID OUT UNTIL THE JOB IS TO THEIR SATISFACTION. WE ALSO INCLUDED A FREE CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR AND HONORED A OLD PRICE GIVEN OUT BACK ON 3/17/06. WE TRY TO WORK WITH CUSTOMERS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND EVEN THOUGH WE INCURRED A 5% PRICE INCREASE ON THE FURNACE, WE DID NOT CONVEY A COST DIFFRENCE TO THE MEMBER. THE JOB WENT AS PLANED AND TOOK ABOUT 1.5 DAYS WITH 2 MEN ON THE SITE. ALL NEWER HUMIDIFIERS HAVE A DRAIN. THEY NO LONGER RETAIN WATER INSIDE THE UNIT. SOME OF THE WATER IS USED TO MAKE HUMIDITY AND THE RESIDUAL DRAINS OUT. NORMALLY A OPEN SITE FLOOR DRAIN WORKS. IF IT DOES NOT I WOULD RECOMMEND A PLUMBER TO REPAIR IT, JUST IN CASE THERE IS EVER SEEPAGE IN THE BASEMENT. IF IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED THEN WE CAN USE A CONDENSATE PUMP TO PUMP THE WATER OVER TO A SLOP SINK. A CONDENSATE PUMP NORMALLY RUNS AN ADDITIONAL $100.00 TO $125.00 EXTRA COST TO THE HOMEOWNER. WE APPRECIATE THE GOOD FEEDBACK THIS MEMBER GAVE AND WE WILL CONTACT HER TO SEE IF SHE HAD HER FLOOR DRAIN PROBLEM REPAIRED. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO MAKING EVERYONE A SATISFIED CUSTOMER AND SAVING THEM SOME MONEY IN THE PROCESS...

We called on a Monday morning, and Al arrived promptly at 2:30 that afternoon. He showed me what was wrong, made a few quick adjustments and replaced a blown part, and the job was done in less than half an hour. A very nice guy, too! We'll have them come back to clean the ducts and give us a quote on a new furnace system.
Description of Work: Central air conditioner stopped working during the hottest weekend of the year. (We recently bought this house and knew that the furnace and AC were older and in need of maintenance, but were hoping that it would hold out through the summer!) They sent Al out and he got us running in no time.

AT ASSURED WE TRY TO DELIVER FAST, HONEST, AND FAIR PRICED REPAIRS. MOST OF THE TIME WE CAN ACCOMODATE A CUSTOMERS TIME, DAY AND DATE REQUEST. SOMETIMES A CALL WILL COME IN AND IF A TECNICIAN IS BETWEEN CALLS HE WILL DO HIS BEST POSSIBLE TO FIT THAT CUSTOMER IN. RECENTLY TEMPERATURES SOARED TO THE 100 TO 115 DEGREE HEAT INDEX RATING. IF WE COULD NOT REACH THE CUSTOMER THE SAME DAY WE OFER THEM EVENING HOURS AT TIME AND A HALF. WE REALIZE THAT THE TERM TIME AND A HALF IS "NEGATIVE" BUT IF THE CUSTOMER COMPARES OUR TIME AND A HALF RATE TO OTHER COMPANIES REGULAR RATE IN MOST CASES WE ARE THE SAME OR STILL LOWER IN COST. MOST COMPANIES THIS SUMMER HAVE BEEN ALSO ADDING FUEL SUR-CHARGES TO THE BILL. AT ASSURED, WE HAVE NOT. EVERYONE IS AWARE OF HIGH GAS PRICES AND OUR GAS BILLS HAVE DOUBLED OVER LAST YEAR. OTHER COMPANIES HAVE BEEN CHARGING $7.00 TO $30.00 ADDITIONAL TO THE BILL. OUR TECHS. ARE HONEST AND GIVE THE CUSTOMER A FAIR EVALUATION OF THEIR PROBLEM. I HAVE HEARD SOME HORROR STORIES REGARDING CHARGES FOR SERVICE FROM OTHER COMPANIES, AND I AM PROUD TO SAY WE HAVE VERY FAIR INSTALLATION AND SERVICE PRICING. AL (ALAN PEREZ) HAS WORKED FOR OUR COMPANY FOR OVER 3 YEARS. HE FINISHED TRADE SCHOOL, FINISHED OUR APPRENTICE-SHIP AND CONTINUES TO ATTEND TRAINING CLASSES TO KEEP UP TO DATE. ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES DO. AT ASSURED WE DELIVER WHAT MOST COMPANIES CAN NOT, FAIR PRICES, QUALITY EQUIPTMENT, AND QUALITY CRAFTMANSHIP. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THIS CUSTOMER FOR THE GREAT REPORT.

I especially appreciated that no payment was required until the equipment was delivered. The owner of the business came to our house for the quote. He was on time and very polite & pleasant to work with. He provided us with 3 different quotes depending on the cost and type of equipment. The quotes were broken down very well and we found them very understandable.
Description of Work: In July of 2005 our furnace and air conditioner were replaced with American Standard Equipment as requested. We are very happy with the furnace and AC.

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THIS CUSTOMER FOR A WONDERFUL REPORT ON OUR COMPANY. NANCY AND BILL PURCHASED A NEW FURNACE, A-COIL, DIGITAL SET BACK THERMOSTAT, MEDIA AIR CLEANER, AUTOMATIC HUMIDIFIER, AND OF COURSE INSTALLATION. THE JOB WENT AS PLANED AND SCHEDULED. IT WAS A TYPICAL REPLACEMENT ON A OLDER RANCH STYLE HOME. I ALSO PROVIDED THEM WITH AN ESTIMATE TO HEAT THE ADDITION THAT OTHER CONTRACTORS DID NOT CONSIDER. IN ORDER TO OFFER A TOTAL SOLUTION TO THIER HEATING NEEDS. THE FURNACE IS A 2-STAGE AND IS OUR MOST POPULAR. THE JOB WAS LOCATED ABOUT ONE MILE FROM OUR MAIN OFFICE. THE CUSTOMER WAS ALSO VERY HAPPY WITH US BECAUSE WE OFFERED THEM A VARIETY OF MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM. WE ALSO TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN SPENDING TIME WITH THE CUSTOMER TO HELP THEM MAKE A EDUCATED DECISION. THE JOB WAS INSTALLED WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO THE HOME. NEAT AND CLEAN. ALL OLD EQUIPMENT WAS REMOVED FROM THE SITE. IN THE ABOVE PRICE TAX AND LABOR WAS INCLUDED. TWO OF OUR WORKERS ( NOT SUB- CONTRACTORS ) PREFORMED THE INSTALLATION. THEY RECIEVED A FIVE YEAR PARTS WARRANTY, TWENTY YEAR HEAT EXCHANGER WARRANTY, AND A ONE YEAR LABOR AND CRAFTMANSHIP WARRANTY. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN ONE DAY AS SCHEDULED. AT OUR COMPANY, THE CUSTOMER IS NOT A JOB NUMBER. WE TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN MEETING OR EXCEEDING THEIR EXPECTATIONS AND WE PAY GREAT ATTENTION TO THE COMPLETION OF THE DETAILS THAT MOST COMPANYS OVER-LOOK. WE ARE HAPPY TO THEM SATISFIED CUSTOMERS AND HOPE WE CAN DO THE SAME FOR YOU.
