Overall it went really well. They were professional and friendly.

I have used their services on and off for the past 18 years. Lou is the manager. Initially, he came to give me an estimate and evaluate the work to be done. Lou gave his crew specific directions of the pruning. I was very pleased as they were well trained, experienced and did a good job. Unfortunately, I do not recall the cost.

I like the way that the Forman will come to your house and draw up a plan. He will give you an estimate of how much it will cost. This is before they even start the work. They are good at their job and they know exactly when it is a good time to be trimming trees.

If you need anything to do with trimming or trees or removing trees, I would definitely call this company. They are very good.

This is a really great firm! They come out and look over your trees, they do not try to sell you anything, only make suggestions that you can accept or leave. They are really care about your trees.

As always, they were great to work with. I called for an estimate, and they came out within 2 days and left the bid for us. I was told it would take about 2 weeks to schedule, but when I said I needed it done ASAP, David got me scheduled late the next week. They actually had to go and rent a smaller grinder, as their smallest one wouldn't fit through our gate. This took an extra day, but as far as I'm concerned, they went above and beyond to complete the work--and their's was the lowest bid, too!

I have used them for many years. They even helped me save a tree that I was in danger of losing. When they have done pruning, they always do a superb job of cleaning up.

I called to get an estimate for trimming one tree and removing another stump. Tom came out as promised, after a few days and was very knowledgeable about the work to be done, and spent time discussing it with me. In the end, I went with another Angie's list A rated company, because the price was about $100 less, for the same trimming, plus the other firm would haul away the stump chips. This seems a quality company, but in the end I couldn't pass up the $100 less for a bit more work. I will ask them to bid on future work, as I am impressed by the company.

Had to reschedule because of wacky weather, but the work was excellent. he tree looks great, you can't tell anyone was in the yard. We're very pleased. Lou even threw in a trim for a small plum tree that was growing into some power lines. Great work!

They are really fabulous and very knowledgable. I was given an estimate of pruning and fertilizing all the trees as well. A diagram with the location and type of tree was drawn up and I was told what should be done to each.

Hard to get phone calls returned, never showed up to do work.

The sprayer was very professional and helpful. I would suggest, however, for him next time to wear a mask when spraying. This company does a very professional job. John has been out several times to help us out with various problems we've had with our trees. I highly recommend this company.

I am happy with the quality of the work performed, but disappointed with the poor service. My crabapple tree no longer sheds its leaves during the summer, and my pine trees are healthy. Tom Tyler, Arborist, and the office staff are nice people to work with and always responsive. However, I've been using this three service for a few years now, and they do a poor job of scheduling their services. Every year I've prepaid for service, at a discount, and I've always had to prompt them to schedule the work. Additionally, this past spring, I had to call them to perform the second application of crabapple tree spray. The second application was supposed to have been performed within two weeks. I was told that rain delayed the second application, but it took five weeks to get the job done, which was performed only after my request.

Lou is very good, and the crews professional. Removal of debris also very good. They have also been treating a 50 ft pin oak in our back yard for anthracnose, a non-deadly disease, that attacks the leaves, and causes them to brown and fall in Summer. The soil treatments have brought the tree back. Expensive, but good. The bushes needed some professional TLC, and that's why I went with them, instead of dragging out the hedge trimmer, and pruners and doing it myself. Some of our plantings are 20+ years old, and need care.

We have had a frustrating time with this company. They are among the most expensive out there and we hired them based on Angie's' List comments. We had them prune six trees in the late winter. After the leaves came out, it was clear that a significant number of dead branches were missed on 4 of the 6 trees. By then, we were having trouble with an infestation in two other trees, so we had Lou Leggett, the arborist, come out and evaluate the situation. We also showed him the dead branches. Apparently he had not stopped by after the pruning job to make sure it had been done properly. Lou promised a crew would be by within a week to cut the dead branches and that he would provide an estimate for taking care of the infestation. A month later, nothing--no additional pruning, no estimate. We are a very small job for this company and we were obviously treated as such. We will not hire this company again.

Jeff Hoover, the rep, was knowledgeable, polite, and very easy to work with. He instructed the team on how much to cut the trees back and added on the trimming of one tree without problem. I wanted to be present when the work was done. On the day that they were scheduled to come, they were running late due to add-on work. The rep actually came to my house, asked if I wanted to reschedule or if they should come. We rescheduled without problem. They were prompt and the work took the amount of time they said it would. They cleaned up after themselves well. Excellent service.

TOM TYLER WAS THE ARBORIST THAT CAME OUT FOR A CONSULTATION (FOR FREE, THANKS TO ANGIE'S LIST--NORMALLY IT WOULD COST $35 OR SO). HE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING WHAT TREES WE HAVE, HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM, AND HOW HE WOULD RECOMMEND TRIMMING THEM. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH HIM, AND HE ADMITTED THAT THEY ARE A LITTLE MORE PRICEY THAN OTHER SERVICES, BUT THAT THEY TAKE THE TIME TO GET IT DONE RIGHT, AND IF WE WEREN'T SATISFIED, THEY WOULD COME BACK OUT AND FIX IT. THE JOB WAS SCHEDULED WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS (DUE TO A BACKLOG DURING A POPULAR SEASON), AND THEY DID THE WORK AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT THAT TOM HAD WRITTEN OUT. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF VERY MINOR THINGS WE WISH THEY HAD DONE DIFFERENTLY, BUT AFTER READING OVER THE CONTRACT AGAIN, IT WAS PROBABLY OUR FAULT FOR NOT MAKING SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS DETAILED. THEY ALSO DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF CLEANING UP. OVERALL, AN EXCELLENT SERVICE, AND THEY ARE ATTENTIVE TO WHAT THEIR CUSTOMERS NEED.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, AND CLEANED THE AREA SO WELL THAT NO ONE COULD HAVE NOTICED WE HAD ANY WORK DONE. THE JOB ACTUALLY CAME IN LOWER THAN WHAT THEY HAD QUOTED US.

WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR FUTURE SERVICES, AND HAVE TOLD MANY ABOUT HOW DELIGHTED WE WERE WITH THE COMPANY, AND OUR ARBORIST, TOM TYLER.

OVER THE PHONE, HE TOLD ME HOW I COULD DO A LOT OF THE CARE MYSELF, TO SAVE MONEY.

THEY GAVE A COMPREHENSIVE ESTIMATE, BUT THE PRICE WAS QUITE HIGH.

THEY NEVER DID TRIM THE TREE THAT WAS STRIKING THE HOUSE SINCE IT WAS TOO CLOSE.

TIM WIMMER, THE ARBORIST, CAME TO MY HOME THE DAY AFTER MY INITIAL PHONE CALL TO GET A QUOTE. HE WALKED MY YARD WITH ME AND GAVE ME A WRITTEN QUOTE WITHIN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. TIM CALLED WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF RECEIVING MY SIGNED CONTRACT AND SCHEDULED THE WORK TO BE DONE THE FOLLOWING DAY. HE, AND HIS CREW, ARRIVED PROMPTLY AT THE TIME PROMISED AND THE CREW WORKED VERY EFFICIENTLY AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING VERY WELL. THE MEN WERE POLITE, HARDWORKING AND PROFESSIONAL. I AM NOW WAITING FOR THEM TO RETURN TO GRIND THE STUMPS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE NEEDING HELP WITH THEIR TREES.

THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY AND PERFORMED A FREE ASSESSMENT OF THE OAK AND RECOMMENDED A SULFUR SOIL INJECTION. TOOK A LOOOOOOONG TIME TO GET TO IT, OVER THREE WEEKS, BUT HAPPY WITH WORK THAT WAS PERFORMED. LOU KNOWS HIS STUFF, DID A GOOD JOB.

THE CREW DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEAN-UP IN MY YARD AND MY NEIGHBOR'S. I WAS NOT HOME WHEN THEY DID THE WORK, BUT MY NEIGHBOR SAID THEY WERE COURTEOUS TO HER. I HAD THREE ESTIMATES, BUT THIS ONE WAS THE MOST REASONABLE.
