We had a slight miscommunication, but it all worked out just fine and was resolved with no problems.They seem to always be very accommodating and very reasonable with their pricing. If it is going to be expensive they will explain why. They do a good job, I have never had a problem. They took out this huge tree, and did really good and they grind out the stumps. They are very responsive.

+ -1 moreThey've done quite a few jobs for me in recent years. They did three trees and it was $150 a tree. Their people are very knowledgeable and cooperative. The price isn't cheap, but the value that they give makes it worth it.

+ 1 moreDavy Tree is timely responsive to additional requests. In the case of grub control, one year, because of excessive rain, the treatment was not especially effective; they retreated the lawn at no extra charge when notified there was emerging grub damage. I also appreciate their counsel regarding problems I encounter. They are careful with applications. The company makes sure their employees are properly suited up. They are quite willing to notify before service applications so windows and pets can be tended to.
Description of Work: Over the years I have used a variety of their services. My Ash tree has been given injections (trunk and ground) for the last 5+ years. I have had the grass fertilized, treated for weed and grub control, and aerated. I have the trees and bushes fertilized in the fall. The boxwoods are continually treated for the Leaf Minor control. I have also had some pruning service. The client is not locked into any service program. You can pick and choose when the year's service agreement is mailed out well before the start of the season.

+ -1 moreWe have an infestation of Ash Bores in an Ash Tree, and they've done a great job of saving it. This has been an on-going process with them, maybe as much as three years, maybe two years? They come on a regular basis to give it the treatment, it's not cheap. The tree is beautiful, and it's still beautiful. They do it bi-annually. They come in the spring and they come in the fall. It is a huge application. They've done a great job.

+ 0 moreI have used them for years; they are marvelous. They do our lawn also. They put the fertilizer and do the crabgrass and they put all the various things in as the months go along. I haven't really done a comparison of each thing but I guess (the price) is an A. You think you get the people who are reasonable and do the job. You don't want to pay the money and not have the job done.
Description of Work: They are servicing two trees. We have a Magnolia that had some kind of disease in it. The leaves all shriveled up. They came out, looked at it, and put something on it one year and then this year they put a second cure or whatever they put on it and the tree, the leaves, are lovely this year. Then we have an Elm tree of which there are not that many left -- we used to have five and now we are down to one because of that Dutch Elm Disease. I noticed the leaves when they came out for a year or so sort of quickly got holes in them so I had them look at it and although it cost us $500 or $600 they put something in the tree. It is not Dutch Elm Disease, but if it gets diseased then the Dutch Elm Disease is much more likely to take root. So they put this stuff in it. The leaves are beautiful this year so we are hoping it is going to be good.

I wasn't out there watching them to do it. I was in contact with the owner, and he was here with another person. He was good.

We have used Davey Tree/The Care of Trees of years and are always very pleased with their professionalism.
