I asked the village forester who to call and he recommended Care of Trees. I called them in a panic that we would lose the tree, they came right away and gave me advice. I hired them and the tree survived and has thrived.

They are very, very good. They give us advice on what to do to take care of the trees. They are prompt and their prices seem reasonable. I would recommend Care of Trees to anyone.

I was very impressed with their knowledge of my trees and bushes. They cut down one tree for me and are now taking care of another one. They did a great job, I'll continue to use them.

The insect treatment happened shortly after the estimate was accepted. The limb trimming was postponed until the first frost to avoid possible disease in oak tree. However, the damaged limb fell. The company came out immediately to trim the broken limb and remove the debris.

They were very knowledgeable and professional. They also put cables in our tree in the front and trimmed it as well. Their pricing was also very reasonable. I was a little disappointed with their time frame but it was not completely their fault as the weather was bad. The quality of their work was good and I was very pleased with their service.

Trimming went great, very propfessional crew. Clean up was very goos as well. Even paused a bit so I coul let our dogs out for a bit.

I thought they were just going to give an estimate on the date they came out, but they had the time and performed the work that same day. I would definitely use them again. The price was reasonable and they were thorough in their work and clean-up.

One of the easiest contractors / gardeners I have encountered. Punctual on the estimation visit and the day of service, helpful in sharing knowledge about the different types of trees, service took almost exactly as much time as he estimated and they did a great job with clean-up.

Brilliant. Timely quote, great job, responsible, took direction, great clean-up and installed a tree swing in one day. Quote was cheapest of three, but still had great reputation. Mark the supervisor came both days and took feeback well.

The work went well. It was timely and the results were as expected. They also cleaned up very well afterwards.

We contracted with the wheeling office to word on diseased blue spruce, as stated above. Two weeks after I mailed the deposit, I had to call them to learn if they had received the deposit and if they were going to do the job. The branch removal was great and the mulch looked good, but when we looked underneath there was a thick bed of needles and pine cones, it looked like nothing had been removed. After several attempts (voice mail and email) to contact the arborist that was working with us, it was agreed that CofT would come out again and complete the work. After they did, we had the same problem. After several additional calls, CofT agreed to accept just our down payment as 'paid in full'. My husband and I spent 3 hours removing mulch, needles and pine cones - filling 12 garden waste refuse bags. I would be much happier if: 1. CofT had just declined to do the needle removal upfront and reduced the price. It took us twice as long to do the job since my husband and I had to remove the mulch they had used to cover the needles. OR 2. If they had explained that for the quoted price they were going to remove only the top half inch of needles, vs what we asked them to do. In this case we could have come to an agreement before the job started and we would not have had to spend hours doing a job we thought was to be completed by the Care of Trees. Not only do I feel that they did not complete the job as contracted, our arborist was not prompt returning calls. After our first concern he was due out that day to review the work, we finally called him again 3 business days later to ask if and when he was coming.

They came out did a great job for me. They came out very promptly and did the job quickly and cleaned up any debris from the job and they did it at a very fair price.

It was a great experience. I received several estimates. Once I decided on Davey, they began the work within a few days and completed the work in one day. The clean up of the trimmings was good and quick.

Places on my grass were either burned or suffered from disease, only in a few spots...after paying full amount for fertilization and insect prevention, they did not back up their services, and told me I would have to pay to have dead grass replaced. Have lived in same house for 30 years....they told me it was the quality of my grass, but never had a problem like the one they created. Same problem happened last year with Davey in DIFFERENT area of the grass. In the end, the supervisor would not return my calls and they did not re-seed or re-sod as they should have. They ignored it and it would have cost them so little to have corrected the problem.

The arborists are extremely knowledgeable regarding any question you may have about your trees. My concerns have been disease and strength of the limbs. My biggest concern is preserving my trees, not removing them. I've rarely been present when the work is done, but the cleanup is such that you don't even know they've been there.

The men came to trim the tree at 7:30 am. They explained that the truck would need to go on the front lawn since the tree was directly over our house. They marked the sprinkler heads in the lawn and laid plywood with a rubber coating on it on the lawn so the truck wouldn't damage it. Tree was trimmed and branches cleaned up in about 75 minutes. They rang the doorbell so I could look at the tree and make sure I was happy with their work. All went well.

Arborist, Jeff, was very professional and patient with us. Told us about potential future issues. When work was done, workers cleaned up after themselves. Their price was not quite the cheapest, but it was close and worth paying a little bit more for the experience.

The crew showed up with a prior appointment which was somewhat startling, but they got right to work and were finished quickly. They did a good job cleaning up the detritus and even chipped a bunch of tree limbs that I had left over from my own trimming in the fall. This is a very professional outfit with the prices to match!

We have been using them for several years. The men who do the work on the trees are very highly trained, courteous, and careful. They will move garden furniture and are good at what they do. The arborist comes out regularly and if the trees need work then he sends out the work men. They always knock and make sure it's a good time to do the work.
