diseased trees needed sometihing and I decided to remove rather than iffy spray treatment.

He ended up not doing any work for us but we talked about the trees. We just haven't used them yet but when we do, we will. He was just easy to do business with.

Their crew came on Thursday as scheduled and were very efficient in staking the tree as ordered. It is now 5 days later and the stake that they placed is starting to pull out of the ground. I called them today to ask them to re-do the work and to perhaps consider using 2 stakes. I will update this review once I have a response and action. Based on service to date, I found them reasonable in price, and true to their schedule, and willing to explain what needed to be done and why.

This was fine. They have also wired 2of our large trees, to keep them from breaking. They have also cut down various broken limbs from storms and given me advice about other trees. The only complaint I have is that sometimes I cannot get an arborist out when I call. I leave messages, but do not receive a call back.

Very professional. work was done promptly and on time. All wood was stacked neatly for us after being cut into easy to move pieces. All chips cleaned up afterward.

Our arborist, Tracy, was very punctual and informative on what improvements we could make. We had initially called to receive an estimate on removing the two tree stumps, and after speaking with Tracy we also decided to move forward with the Ash tree treatment and removal of the Mulberry tree. Tracy was extremely knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. He went above and beyond.

They did a good job and we were pleased. They were knowledgeable and they did some pruning also. They came out within a couple of days. They came during the day when we were not home. They cleaned up after themselves. We would use them again in the future.

We had to wait until the ground got hard because one of the trees needed a cherry picker in order to prune. Davey did a very good job, professional, neat and exactly what we asked them to do.

Their specialty is trimming and removing. Their professionalism is incredible. These maples were probably fifty or sixty feet high. Their crew and their clean up was amazing. When they get through they send another truck to pick up the timber that they cut. They load everything up and this fellow takes a rake and broom and sweeps up all the stuff. You wouldn't even know that there were here. Then they came back and did stump removal and they did a great job with that too. We recommended them to our neighbor. You can't go wrong with these guys if you are willing to shell out some money.

Last summer our 60+ year old ash tree showed classic signs of the emerald ash borer, so unfortunately it had to be taken down. We obtained 4 quotes last fall, and Davey's price for winter removal (Dec-Feb) was the lowest. We asked to be notified a couple of days before they were coming, and they did just that. The 4-man crew that came really knew what they were doing and it was amazing to watch. They worked hard all day, with one man climbing out onto each branch, securing it with rope before cutting each section, so it could be gently lowered to the ground for the rest of the crew to cut up. They maneuvered around power lines, and avoided dropping branches on our shrubs below. When they finished, they raked all the twigs that had fallen in the neighbor's yard as well as ours. All of the men were friendly and courteous, even at the end of the day when they must have been cold and tired. They did a great job, and we're very pleased.

Have used this company multiple times over the years. They cost a little more, but we've been very happy with their service and quality. The team leader came out for an initial appointment and spent plenty of time with me, discussing the trees' current condition, what needed to be done, and what could/should be done to suit our needs. In addition to honey locust trimming and branch removal, we wanted to remove lower branches on the spruce to provide more space in the back yard. I received the quote in the mail a few days later, and work was scheduled soon after. The team completed the work quickly and neatly. Will continue contacting them for our tree maintenance needs.

They came out right away and the process went well.

The first time, they came out for some tree trimming. We had a branch fall aross our driveway, that they took care of. From there, we had a tree removed and a stump grinded out. We are extremely happy with the service they provided. When the tree fell across our driveway, it was an off day (sunday or holiday), but they still came out and took care of it. They really saved us in an emergency situation. They were very good on price, they were very professional, they always follow up with an email, which is nice. I would highly reccommend them. Our arborist was Travis, and he was great.

Care of Trees ground the large number of stumps we had in the yard of our new house. We received many other quotes that were more than $1000, and Care of Trees did a great job at a fraction of that price. We were very happy with the work they did.

Alan came out to look at the tree and explained their company's minimum charge was $300.00. He suggested that, for such a price, The Care of Trees thoroughly trim all four trees around the building and clean up "suckers" -- small branches Ash trees sprout when they need more sun. We agreed to pay for work on all four trees if the work could be done by the end of the week. We and paid The Care of Trees their required $100.00 deposit. Three weeks later, no work had been done, so we called The Care of Trees to find out why. A few days later, the one tree branch pressing against our windows was cut but the "suckers" remained on that tree and the other three trees remained untouched. We phoned The Care of Trees again to ask when the other trees would be taken care of. We were told all the work had been performed when it quite obviously had not. We did not pay the remaining $200.00 as we felt -- for the little service we received -- $100.00 was more than fair. The company has since put the account into collection. This company did not do the work they promised, nor was the work they did do completed when they promised.

Initially they were more responsive than others I contacted for estimates and prices seemed reasonable, so I selected them. The office personnel that I dealt with were all very polite and professional. It was after that where I was less than satisfied. Personnel were difficult to reach and defensive when asked questions. The last set of pruning done required several phone calls and I still wasn't satisfied. The one tree looks like a big bite was taken out of it. Today I found out that a tree they pruned is an emeral ash which is basically dead. The recommendation should have been to cut it down, not prune it. (That is what I am now going to have to do.) The other ash they recommended treating is on city property in front of my house, not mine. My fault for not knowing that, but the landscaper I met with today quickly pointed that out. Another waste of money. Very dissatisfied overall. Would not recommend or use again.

We had two trees cut down on a house we just purchased. One was in the middle of the back yard and had lots of branches. The other was grown into the power lines next to our garage. They showed up on time with a big crew (four people, we think), and while they were unable to take down the tree next to the garage due to our neighbors car, they came back the following week and we were not charged extra. They cleaned up, worked fast, and I highly recommend.

The tree was in a tight space, and they did a good job. There was a potential of it causing some problems, but they did a good job.

They are very good but very expensive. The charge varies depending on the project. It cost me $800 to have 3 large catalpa’s trimmed and cut down 2 tree of heaven. They also drenched the soil for my catalpa trees. They are great. They care about trees and they trim my trees every 4-5 years. Their on-site work is excellent but their office is not as good. It is a big operation and they have just been bought by a company in Ohio. They are a little pricey but they did good work. I have a regular annual contract with them.
