Description of Work: They routed a toilet, and fixed a leaky faucet. That was fine, but the price to fix the other toilet was way too high and it still doesn't work well.

Description of Work: Our old tub was dripping and the stopper was not working. The plumber wasn't keen on fixing the stopper, so we removed it. He also didn't want to tackle the dripping. The tub is 60 years old, but it seemed like the plumber felt that the deal I received precluded more work.

Description of Work: Technician replaced flush valve that manufacturer of defective "flapper" provided which caused the flush valve pipe to break! (Don't buy a flapper that needs to fit around a pipe - get a side connecting flapper!) They, obviously, wouldn't warranty this, but I again have a WORKING toilet!! (Note; Tom - Dispatcher is excellent, 5 *****'s all the way. A really nice person!)

Description of Work: I bought the big deal from this company to have a leaky faucet fixed. Unlike other big deal purchases I made, this one wasn't for a job to be completed but rather a $100 credit towards a job to be performed. The company has a set price list for each specific job, so fixing of a leaky faucet is around $200. Personally I find it a bit pricy so I wouldn't have purchased a deal had I known that this was the case, especially since there are plenty of plumbing big deals for $99 for two hours of service always available. | |Aside from the price, George the technician who performed the job was very professional, punctual and the work site was left clean after the job was performed. |

Description of Work: Reset toilet. Very easy to make an appointment, prompt, and efficient. Price seemed slightly high for the job, but I was willing to pay, due to the timeliness and efficiency of work.

Description of Work: I needed some drain lines rodded out. Instead of going with our normal plumber I decided to sign up for an Angies List deal where Excel Plumbing was supposed to provide $100 of service for $50. On the scheduled date of service, the person was running behind. By the time he got to our house it was too late and we had to reschedule. He was nice and did come promptly the next time. Unfortunately, $100 value does not buy much service and he could only work on one drain. In addition, his equipment could not go very far down the drain to make sure it was completely clear. In the end I probably could have done what he did myself in less than an hour. Not completely his fault but in the end probably a bad decision on my part. The reason I would not go back to them is mainly that I have local plumbers I trust that I would rather give the business to.

Description of Work: Well, $50.00 Service call purchased turn out to be $400.00 to change out 2 faucets. Outrageously expensive.

Description of Work: Replaced a toilet part and removed a bathroom sink. |Did not have the flapper on truck therefor was not able to install and finish the job. I ventured out for the flapper and toilet is now running wellHe did a decent job but I gave him a B rating because the job wasn't completed.

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet with new, checked to see if there were leaks, took old faucet away. Cleaned and made bathroom faucet handles turn easier. Checked faucets in another bathroom and determined that they need to be replaced. Will use Excel to install new faucets in bathroom. Installer was very professional and patient.

Description of Work: Replaced a kitchen faucet. Price originally quoted seemed high for less than 30 minutes of work. Once completed, I was granted 10% off of the total cost by the plumber. Job was completed well and quickly. Coordinating the appointment time was challenging but appointments were available.

Description of Work: The pop up assembly in my bathroom sink needed to be replaced. George went to get the needed parts the same day (I had worried it would require another appointment), returned within 1/2 hour and had it installed quickly. He was polite, efficient & professional and clearly explained the 1 yr. warranty on parts and labor. I was happy to get my sink working again so quickly!

Description of Work: I needed a garbage disposal and faucet replaced but could not drill a hole in granite- they wouldn't do it. In the end disposal fine but the faucet they installed was really cheap and ugly after 3 hours and back and forth from the local hardware store. Said we had to choose that day or we would be charged for labor cost for the next visit...
