Description of Work: The technician helped evaluate the potential source of the leak and left instructions for the drywall to be removed to repair, then, they would come back to repair pipe. We were able to repair ourselves, but, I appreciated the analysis and the straight-forward approach. I would call them again for plumbing repairs.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for Excel Plumbing a plumbing service call.

Description of Work: He did an excellent job. I would hire them again, I just thought it cost to much for what was done.

Description of Work: Excel Plumbing installed a new kitchen faucet. I had an appointment, but it turned out my name was not on their schedule for that day. Since I had taken a day off of work, they accommodated me by sending a plumber at the last minute. It seemed he was a sub-contractor, and had to call Excel to inquire as to the price to charge me. |The job took only 15-20 minutes. The charge was outrageous in my book. A handyman would have done the job, at a lesser charge.

Description of Work: Replaced parts of two toilets so that they would flush better. Successful results.

Description of Work: There were three components to the call. Install a standard "in line" water filter cartridge (we provided) for our water softener, Install a shower head (we provided) and a new flap assembly for a toilet (plumber provided). Total labor time to install all three parts was 1 hour and 20 minutes, balance of service call time (1 hr and 15 min) was spent purchasing and returning parts that were incorrectly purchased. While I understand there was some confusion on the service cost, $400 labor is excessive and unreasonable. Service technician was ill prepared for the service work. He requested to borrow a filter wrench and a ladder. Equipment you would expect a plumber to have. I spoke directly with the owner of the company and was unable to resolve. I will not use them again.
