Original order was for a leaky garbage disposal. Plumber discovered disposal was damaged and not repairable. He did not have a disposal with him, asked what type of disposal I wanted then went off the get the disposal (he normally had disposals but there had be a recent run on busted disposals so he was out) returning about 45 minutes later. He removed the old disposal and installed the new one in less than an hour. He noticed that my kitchen faucet was badly warn and diplomatically(he did not use high power sales pitch) pointed this out. I already had known that the faucet needed replacing so I agreed to have him replace the faucet. He had one in his truck and replaced the faucet in about 20 minutes. Overall I was quite pleased with the service.

The entire job was done professionally from setting up the appointment to keeping it. The plumber was very knowledgeable and respectful about explaining to us everything he was doing. Since the job he completed didn't take very long, we asked him to take a look at other problem areas that could use a plumber. He was good about doing this. He sent the info to the office and in a short period of time we received a phone call with the work itemized and an estimate.

They were ok. Not bad. They were responsive and did the job that they were supposed to.

George was very professional, prompt, and his work looks great. He explained the issue, why it happened, what he was going to do to fix it, and how much it was going to cost before he started anything. He was very courteous and was careful to keep my house clean. I am pleased with his work.

Conrad arrived on time and was professional and courteous. He assessed the problems and offered multiple options for correction of each issue. He measured and went out to get the materials that would match my home (for the bathroom), which impressed me. He was quick and efficient and I was very pleased with the end result.

I called the morning I woke up and discovered that my 11 year old water heater was no longer working properly. Max came out to my house 1.5 hours after I called. After checking the water heater and reviewing options I decided to purchase a new water heater that he picked up at a local dealer and returned to install about hour later. Installation took less than 2 hours that included removing my old water heater, testing the water lines in all 3 bathrooms and kitchen , and showing me how to adjust the heat controls, etc. The utility area where the water heater is housed was clean after the job w/out any problems noted. Max was highly profession, well mannered, friendly and answered all my questions. Afterwards, I even consulted with him in regards to replacing my toilets at some future date. I would highly recommend this company and was very pleased with Max's work.

In the past I've always felt somewhat cheated when a plumber came out. They'd give me one price on the phone then add this and that (a "rental fee" for using tools they own for example!!!) or some other tricks to pad the bill. Not Excel - I've used them 3 times now and each time the bill was exactly as initially quoted - no tricks! One time the job was too complicated to give a quote on the phone, so a guy came out and gave me a quote with no charge for the quote. As far as I can tell Excel uses only good brands (Zoeller, Bradford-White). The work has been competently done each time. In short, this is far and away the best plumbing company I've dealt with.

The job went very well. Max, who was the plumber who came to our house, was professional and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with all aspects of the service he provided. We'll definitely use Excel Plumbing again in the future.

Came to my home to give me an estimate of services that I needed. He was supposed to come between 8-10 am and he arrived between 12-1, so later than expected by 2-3 hours.When they came the first they gave me a specific estimate and 2-3 hours max of work. We scheduled it and another guy came and said it would be more than half a day of work and increased the estimate amount by double. I called the manager and he honored the original quote but couldn't come out when I needed. Called Angie's List for a refund on the deal.

It went well. The office kept me informed of the plumbers arrival time. Rick, the plumber, was very friendly and professional. He quickly went to work trying to find the cause of the problem. He found the problem was with the garbage disposal. He confirmed his findings. Then he showed me the problem and explained my options. I am very pleased with the service. Will use again.

We had tried to install the shower head ourselves and got it stuck half way on the pipe. They came out and fixed it in no time for me. Very profesional and cordial!

Excel fixed the leaky toilet. The plumber Jorge was knowledgeable and walked me through the changes he was going to make. However, he did not quote me for work to be provided. After completion, he told me it would cost $375. It seems Excel grossed up the rate to account for the discount I purchased through Angie's List. I felt that I got ripped off for 2 hours worth of work and <$30 worth of parts.

Rick from Excel arrived on time, was professional and courteous and went immediately to work. The home was being sold and the buyers wanted a complete plumbing inspection. Rick checked out everything, including a previous spot where there was leakage, but found no problems. He left me with a report of his inspection which has since been passed on to the buyers - alleviating their concerns. A great deal and just what was needed.

I bought as big deal; 50$ for 100$. The technician, who was not happy to be called in very cold time of year, said that it is $150 worth of work so that I have to pay extra $50. He said that if I don't agree with that payment, he would not to do work. After I discussed with the company staff that I have to pay extra $50 if he pull out the faucet. He said that my faucet is old, difficult to find inner something and will cost me if found them. Recommended to buy new faucet. He did the job but didn't take more than 30minutes. in the future, I would check with the company exactly how much they will charge me to pull one faucet before buying any big deals. That was my naive thought that it wouldn't cost more than $100 to pull a faucet.

I bought the deal for $100 worth of plumbing for $50. Excel responded quickly and we scheduled a date for them to come out. We had to re-schedule due to a malfunction with their scheduling software. The owner was very apologetic and more than made up for the inconvenience of having to re-schedule. I was impressed with his concern for maintaining great costumer service. The plumber arrived on time and worked quickly to stop the leaks we had. Very happy with the outcome!

Due to tree roots growing into a sewer pipe we had to have Excel stop during their emergency call hours in order to rectify the problem. David was thorough, honest and not only fixed the issues but also cleaned up after he was done. Great work Excel and thanks!!

He was brusk and rude to me. Was not at my house more than 5 minutes. Didn't seem interested in the work at all. I had the impression that he was inconvenienced by the service call. I explained the problem over the phone before scheduling the work. Was a complete waste to time.

Despite their not being able to do the job, things went well. We were in constant communication during set up, they had no issue with obtaining the proper language on the insurance cert and we were all ready to go. Until they realized unit 2709 meant a high-rise building, which they don't service. They informed me of the issue and immediately instituted a refund.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of Excel Plumbing from my first contact with Judy in the office to the technician that came out. Max arrived within the time frame that I was quoted. He was very knowledge, helpful and he answered all my questions. I had originally contacted Excel just to unclog the bath tub but I asked Max if he could take a look at my clogged bathroom sink as well. He said no problem, he'd be able to fix that for me too. As it turns out, unclogging the sink was more involved as the pipe was old and rusty. However, Max had the needed part in his truck and he was able to replace the pipe. He also made sure that there were no leaks before he left. So far so good. Everything is running smoothly. I was really impressed with this service provider overall and I will definitely use them again.

The kitchen sink was unclogged and cleaned afterwards and checked to see that it was fixed. Also the plumber (George) was friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain why the problem occurred and had helpful suggestions on how to prevent the problem in the future. I highly recommend him and Excel

They assured me that they wanted to provide the best service. I really appreciated the time and trouble they took to follow up. When I need plumbing service in the future, I will definitely give them another chance.
