Work was done well but every time I asked price he would say don't worry about it Well, when I asked again when he was done he said he didn't know price and someone would call me Later office called to inform me of price which was a higher than expected

They're professional and very responsive. They were out here in a matter of a couple of days. They did great. They did it right the first time.

Angie's list "special" did not turn out to be much of a special. Work still not completed. I bet they never even call back to finish. Supposed to fix a couple of drains, caulk a sink, and replace a knob for the bathtub. Scheduled appointment. Canceled because busy with other work. Rescheduled. Showed up late. Quoted me a significant price above the Angie's List special. At that point, I had no choice, because I was already locked in. Fixed the drains. Did not caulk the sink. Said he could find a replacement knob for the bathtub faucet. Never called back. I suggest that you never call them. Bad deal.

Tech came out and it went fine though I generally don't appreciate it when a service company tries to tell me everything everyone else did at my home was done wrong. I never got the estimate. Called three times and on the last I was told the manager would follow up. In the end I heard nothing from them.

.It took 3 trips to get the job done. The first was to see if the old faucet could be fixed. We decided to buy a new faucet. We bought the faucet, but found the plate to cover the old holes on the countertop was not included. That was the second trip. Then we ordered the second faucet and soap dispenser with the appro[priate cover plate. That was the third time the repairman came to our house. He had to drill the corian countertop, becaust the hole was not big enough for the new faucet. The work was good, but the cost was too high for me.

Follow-up was prompt and the technician came as scheduled. After the inspection was completed, I received a follow-up call from the provider to offer further assistance in addressing one of the problems with drainage from our kitchen sink. After discussing the situation, he made recommendations regarding what needed to be done since it wasn't an appropriate job for his company.

Very responsive and fair. I was extremely happy with the work and the professionalism. I will use them again gladly.

Man came explained that what I bought for fifty bucks was 100 bucks off of rate book service. He then reset two toilets that seemed to be leaking. Took him about 2 hours.

It went great.They scheduled next day service. My window was 12:00-2:00 on a Saturday They called at 10:30 to see if they could come earlier. He was here by 11:00. He did the repairs efficiently. He even helped me find my Angies list discount and waited while I printed it. The coupon was $50.00 off which really helped. I was so impressed with his help with the coupon that I didn't even wait for the truck to leave the driveway to write this review.

The initial Angie's List offer was $50 for $100 off service coupon. We were given a 10 - 12 p.m. time frame by Excel Plumbing. A gentleman named Rick came a little after 10 a.m. He listened carefully to what I had to say to him (regarding what I noticed and suspected); he asked questions for clarification, then went about checking out the areas I indicated. I appreciated that he took my observations into consideration, because as female, you don't always get this type of attentiveness from service providers. He let me know what needed to be done to further investigate the issue (moving washing machine, cutting out of drywall to see pipe behind wall). Once he found the problem, he showed me what was going on, what needed to be done, then gave me a price. He was not pushy at all, rather he wanted to make sure I was okay with him continuing with the job given the price, in case I thought it was high and wanted to go with someone else. Quite frankly, I thought it would be more expensive. As soon as he was given the green light, he went about taking care of the issue. He was done in under an hour and a half. He thoroughly explained afterwards what he had done, and gave us tips on how to dry out the area to prevent mold growth. We will definitely use Excel Plumbing again, and hope to have Rick come out as well.

It is a simple task for a plumber and they finished the worked quickly. There are a few things I'd like to bring up: 1. The plumber put a big cloth under the equipment, which ensured a clean floor after the plumbing work. Very thoughtful! 2. I wish the plumber could wear shoe cover. 3. $220 for a clearing a clog seems to be expensive. The warranty is only 6 months.

I strongly recommend Excel Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. From Julie the receptionist to George the plumber are excellent. I was kept informed as the work progress. When George was "stuck" in the previous job, and was not able to come to my house for the appointment, Julie immediately informed me about it. George came to my house on his off day because he was not able to keep his previous appointment with me. I am happy that I found them through your Angie's list Honestly, I was hesitant to use your site because I was not sure whether I would get a good service. I'm glad I did and found George the plumber. Excel Plumbing is fortunate to have an employee who is knowledgeable of his trade as well as having an excellent public relations skills.

Worker showed up without making an appointment. He was just lucky someone was home. I did sign up for the $50 for $100 worth of plumbing service. I sent over a picture of what needed to be done and it's an insanely easy job but I didn't have time to do this myself, and i thought with the $100 credit i could also get a few other minor things fixed in the house like a leaky faucet and a slow draining sink. They sent over someone more akin to a salesperson then a plumber. Very clean and polished person who looked too neat to do any plumbing work. Spent more time explaining how i i should spend even more money to replace some pipes that weren't giving me any problems. Estimate was done without investigating where this pipe lead to. I am guessing if i did hire them to do this, they would then miraculously discover that more work needed to be done since the pipe leading into the basement was of the same material. It took him less than 8 minutes to tighten and tape my drain pipe and said the charge for that was $80 something. That's better income than a world class cardiologist. Don't be conned by their special offers. Lesson Learned!

Pretty standard fix. The plumber was on time and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time.

It went fine - there were some challenges diagnosing the problem and I had to actually go procure a part myself the plumbing work was good.

originally requested service but realized no services needed. Plumber was kind enough to answer some questions and about our plumbing and start working on an estimate for future work. This was helpful.

He tried a more inexpensive fix first to see if he could save us some money but we had the wrong size spigot on the house causing the leak. He fixed in under and hour and showed me the damage that had been done and how he had repaired it.

I needed a leak fixed and a faucet replaced. I had hoped the job would cost around $300. I ended up only getting the leak fixed for $250. PVC was used and with the coupon I paid $150. I still think that is on the high side. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough money on hand to have him install my new faucet. I wish I could have gotten an estimate upfront. I might have been able to come up with some more money. I was thinking since I was supplying the faucet it would be pretty inexpensive, around $125-$150. I was quoted $225. I may purchase the handyman deal I saw for $110; that will get the install done for a lot less. All in all I am still satisfied with the service I received.

Plumber was very prompt and efficient in resolving our problem. We were very pleased with the service provided and will call upon Excel Plumbing again for plumbing services needed in the future.

The technician arrived on time and was totally professional in every way. He wore shoe covers at all times while inside. He quickly determined that the faucet needed a cartridge, but since I had a replacement faucet available - he simply replaced the 5 year old faucet with the new one. He also recommended that the since be snaked as the water flow was slow. This was $ 200 additional and I agreed to have him perform this task. All work was satisfactory in every way.

George flushed out the hot water line, it went well. The hot water flow was restored.

that Max arrived right on time, and I explained to him that I thought a pipe wasn't sealed because it was spraying water. Within several seconds of looking at it, Max determined that actually it was a ruptured pipe that had ruptured over winter at some point. I then showed him the two sinks that had a flexible trap that I wanted replaced with a solid trap. Max gave me what it would cost in total to do all the projects and after I approved it, Max got right to work, and did a great job. He replaced the pipe with one that wouldn't freeze, and replaced the traps. He then informed me that one of the under sink pipes had been leaking into the wall.

job couldn't be done, not providers fault. The supervisor called me with a follow up wanting to know if the person they sent tried every possible solution prior to quitting. Shows me they care a lot about the service they perform

Fixed the internal plunger, etc.
