Initially the appointment was scheduled from 3 to 5 pm, but on one showed up on time. I called the office and they rescheduled to 6 pm. Alex showed up on time. He is very professional and efficient, fixed our leaking bathroom faucet, cleaned the area when the job is done. He patiently answered our questions regarding other pluming issues and gave his honestly advice. We are very satisfied with his service, will recommend to our friends. We used $50 off $100 coupon. Rick was great. Showed up found the root of the problem explained how some of my plumbing work was set up and then got into fixing the problem immediately. Was in and out in 30 minutes

The serviceman arrived a few minutes early and even called when he was on the way to my home. He was very pleasent and answered all of my questions. He fixed our sink without any hassel and kept things clean. Sink is working great now. He was knowledgable and answered several other plumbing questions that I had. I would also add that the office staff were very friendly and cooperative when I called the office.

He checked everything and was able to get my hot water and water pressure going in my shower. After going a month without being able to take a decent shower it felt like Heaven to take a normal shower. I should've asked for help a month ago. He found more problems which I agreed were problems and I'm going to ask him to come back and fix the other items.

This is somewhat of a mixed review since there was very good work done on the garbage disposal. The plumber got it going properly and showed me how to properly maintain it to keep it working properly. The upstairs toilet was running and leaking. That job was done properly. However, the problem is with the downstairs toilet. Instead of repairing it by putting the proper new fixture in the water tank, he just put in a new hose that kept coming out of the area where the water goes into the tank. He was called came back and when he came, told my wife that if cover to the tank is level, the hose will stay in place. This is not true . He then put some plumber's putty on the hose to keep it in place. He told my wife that if he had to come back there would be a charge for his services. I have since had to put more putty on the hose to keep it in place. This part of the job was not done properly and the statement that we would have to pay if he had to come back is totally unprofessional. If he did not know how to replace the original fixture, he should have brought in someone that did. Or at the very least, looked up that model toilet to see how the inner fixture worked and fixed it properly.

George was the technician who came on both visits. I had purchased a Big Deal of $50 for $100 worth of services. When he came out the first time for the toilet issue, he recommended that the toilet be replaced. We discussed on that visit my issues with low water pressure and he looked at all of the piping in the basement. Some had already been replaced but there were others that were still the old lead pipes and he said that was the problem. He was going to put a proposal together for me for replacing the old lead pipes and said that would go a long way to fixing the pressure problem. He did not charge me for that visit since he did not end up doing any work. He told me to save my coupon for the next visit which was when he replaced the toilet. So far, so good. When he arrived to replace the toilet (which I was supplying the new one) I told him it was in the garage but I was not able to carry it up to the 2nd floor myself. Whereupon he informed me that he would have to charge me $20 extra to do that as it was my responsibility to get it up there since I was supplying it and not them. Since I really didn't have any choice at that time, I agreed but I could have called someone the night before to help me if I had known that in advance. Bottom line, my $50 discount ended up being only a $30 discount. And since there were other offers out on Angies LIst for toilet replacement for $99, I could have found a better deal for toilet replacement. I was very happy otherwise with the quality, professionalism and responsiveness of George and the company in general. I do feel, however, that since we had discussed them doing a much larger job in the near future and I'm still waiting for the quote on that project, it seems that the smarter thing to do in the interests of great customer service, would have been to offer to waive the $20 "carrying charge"... in light of future business and also due to the fact that I carried up the tank part of the toilet myself, so he ended up spending about 1 minute carrying up the base of the toilet. In addition, I had also told him that I am a local realtor and always have clients looking for good plumbing referrals. I don't think that was well handled and for that reason I have to give them a B Overall instead of an A.

That part went well---the work was efficiently done and the after clean up was well done. The one thing that I have been disappointed with is that I was promised a final bid on a backup sump pump system over a month ago and I have not yet received it. I suppose they forgot about it.

When first called, spoke with Tom who was very professional/friendly. Scheduled appointment with me and was patient as I had to reschedule around association time frames. Max was the actual plumber, he was on time and did a good job. Natalie and Natalia in the office also were good to work and very nice, they emailed me invoice as promised. I feel the total cost of $250 was on the higher side, but this company was great to work with. They also took off $50 for a coupon they're offering on here, so brought the cost down to $200 which is more reasonable. Overall, great company to work with and would use them again if needed.

.The owner called me later and apologized for all the inconveniences of 4 service calls and offered me $100 back. I declined the $100 and asked him to make it right, and he did. Hats off to someone who cares about customers.

The service was rescheduled twice, and when finally the service man arrived, for replacing 2 Washing machine Faucet outlets, in an hour the service person was able to replace just one, and reported if we want him to do the second one it will cost us $100 more. Totally disappointing capability of the service man to replace 2 washing machine outlet faucets in an hours time and expecting us to pay $100 more for incomplete work. I have mentioned that the service was not provided as the service man kept the work half done! Does changing 2 washing machine outlet faucet really cost upwards of $200 in the real world? This is holding us on a ransom for incompetence of the company to finish their work in time. Not sure if Angies list Offers really work in this way? do they? Consumers of these services have the right to see a more data on how all the $100 for $50 offers work on this site! Can someone provide more data points on this?

They were very responsive and professional. I may use them in the future. I determined that do to the difficulty of finding a satisfactory replacement sink and the additional expense of the sink and faucet, I would hold off on the work at this time. I really need to think about having it done and the expense. I would recommend Excel Plumbing to others. Thank you

George was an awesome professional from the second he walked in door. Validated the issue, proposed the solution and was very clear on any additional costs such as replacing the bolts. Kept the work area very clean and disposed of all garbage. I would definitely use them again.

George was very professional and helpful. Arrived on time and gave an accurate estimate. Factored in $50 for $100 deal coupon honestly. Did a clean, professional job switching out our bathroom faucet and adjusting the shutoff valves.

The Company offered the same day appointment for evaluation and cost estimate. The technician showed up on time and explain to me what was the problem and gave me the pricing for labor to replace the disposal. I declined the option to buy disposal from Excel, the price was $300, way too expensive, so he quoted me $160 for labor only (a bit more than Home Depot). I agreed to do the job. The technician name is Damion Sokolowski. I told him that I would like to buy a new unit by myself (for cost reasons) and he said that he would come back and fix it within an hour. He showed up on time again and installed a new disposal within 50 minutes. After installation he checked the unit, how it works and for leaks. Customer service is outstanding. They called me, emailed me, followed up on everything. The plumber was professional and arrived on time. They diagnosed the issue quickly and got the problem fixed. Price was a bit higher than other providers.

I liked their service. I wish it was a little less expensive, but I liked it.

I called Excel Plumbing the morning after a rainfall when we noticed that our sump was running continuously, but never emptying the pit. Nervous about the possibility of a flood in our basement, we decided we needed a professional to take a look at the situation. My husband was bailing the pit when Tom took my call at 9:45, and reassured me that he could have someone at the house between 10 and 12, that our job would be given to the next available plumber. Max pulled up out front 45 minutes later, much to our relief! His quick assessment showed that the pump was fine, but a blockage was preventing the water from being pumped away from the house, so the sump was continuously pumping the same water. That was a recipe for disaster, and Max set out to find the problem. He was very thorough and diligent in his investigation, and eventually identified the area that was blocked in the discharge pipe and managed to rod it out after many attempts. The clog broke loose and spewed out into the backyard, freeing the pipes to allow water to flow through them once again. The culprit? A nest made of black netting that was laid down by our landscaper earlier in the spring to reseed a bare area in the yard. An unidentified varmint had used the netting to make a home in the discharge pipe and over time mud and debris clung to the netting, eventually leading to the blockage Max rodded out. Problem solved! Our thanks to Excel Plumbing for their prompt, professional, diligent and courteous service! We would most certainly use them again!

He came promptly, assessed the problema and returned the next day with the supplies to perform the job. The job has resolved the problemwe were having.

Showed up a few hours late after having forgot about us, provided a high estimate once, and then asked to come over to provide a higher estimate later. I just wanted the plumbing part of my job done. They wanted to up-sell, and wouldn't take no for an answer. Overall, I'm sure they're great. The people that showed up were extremely professional. I just wouldn't (and didn't) ask a plumber to do construction. I got my job done for about 2K less in the end.

Max has always been very courteous, I request him every time I schedule a service call. He does a great job & breaks every detail down for me. Pricing is reasonable and he always offers good advice.
