They came out in a timely manner. They technician who came out was very polite and respectful. The work was well done and they did not make a mess. They were fairly priced. I will use them again in the future.

I really like them. They are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They have given us good suggestions on how to keep nursing our elderly furnace. They never try to sell me anything I dont need and I would highly recommend them.

They explained things to me. I am very satisfied with them. Someone high up in the company came to talk to me about it instead of a worker. I thought that was going above and beyond. They came out right away. They give good service.

I had an electric air cleaner, and he tried to talk me into buying a replacement one because he said it was too hard to clean the metal ones that were in there and actually I did clean the metal ones that were in there and it was not hard at all. When I went online, I found out that the one part that he was recommending was something that you could actually clean rather than replace, and the other part needed to be replaced every 4 or 5 years, which was possible that it might need to have been replaced. The other thing he told me was that my 13-year-old furnace was on its last leg. I panicked and I bought a service agreement, and it wasn t until after he was gone and everything that I started getting on the internet, and I didn t say about it, until 2 weeks later when they called me to say that my parts were there and they would like to stop by and put them in. That is when I told the guy who called what had happened, and to be fair, they refunded all but the visit charge for the visit that he had actually made. They did the right thing, but this guy didn t have any compunction about playing me, even though I was crying and visibly distressed and telling him what my situation was, that I was widowed, and he still tried to play me.

They come on time and seem to have pretty pleasant workers. The furnace works just fine. I haven't really compared their prices with others, but I got the impression that they were in line. When I bought the furnace their prices were good. I will continue to use them in the future.

I called Comfort Masters to fix the igniter on my furnace. I called on a Monday afternoon and was told the technician wouldn't be able to come until 2-PM the next day. It is an office space, so I decided to close the office for the following day and come in around 1 pm to wait for the tech. At 4:15 pm, I called the company. After being on hold, I was disconnected. I called again. After being on hold, I was asked if I was a residence or a business. I was told I would be called a half hour later with an indication where the tech was. An hour later, I called the company back and was told that the tech would not be to my office until AT LEAST 7 pm. Being that I have the flu, I had to cancel because I could no longer sit in a cold office. It's really a shame. I have used this company before. If they didn't have time for me, I would have called someone else.

They are very good! There were a couple times I have had them come back out to fix some things, but they are always willing to come back out.

The service is excellent. They call before coming and arrive during the timeframe promised. I'm happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism showed by the technicians. I need to schedule the work far in advance due to my schedule limitations.

They came right on time and were efficient and professional. They cleaned up any and all mess afterwards. They also shared with us that the ducts weren't as bad as we had feared considering that we have 3 cats.

Emanul was on time, very informative on what he was doing and installing. Explained my new thermostat & how to work it.

The experience was alright with the company but I did feel at one point that they were over pressuring us to buy a completely new A/C Unit. We did tell them that they could give us a quote for future reference when we are looking for a knew unit so I would say that we would use them in the future and recommend them to others.

Tech came out, told us we didn't need the steam humidifier, got us a quote for an April Aire unit, went and picked up the part, came back and did the install. Great service!

I like the convenience of using this company. They are thorough. They will ask you if you want to replace parts that look worn, but will not press you about it.

We find them very reliable. They come out when they say they will be here. We are very pleased with them, their work and their prices. We will continue to use them for future service because we know they are someone that we can rely on.

I have had a service agreement with them for about 2 years and have been generally satisfied with the work performed. They are prompt and professional. However, I believe they are overpriced. This particular job took less than 30 minutes and simply involved running a blast of compressed air through the PVC pipe to dislodge the obstruction. On top of the $85.00 charge for the service, they tacked on a $90 "diagnostic fee." When I complained about the diagnostic fee (I had told them exactly what the problem was over the telephone), they informed me that the $90 fee applies to every single job they do. $185.00 for less than 30 minutes work seems a little steep.

I call this company on an as needed basis. I think they are easy to schedule service with and are always responsive if I have any other problems than just the routine maintenance. They do a nice job cleaning up after themselves and are also very friendly.

They were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. No hype or arm-twisting. Very confident in recommending them. Will use them in the future.

Tech # 3 came on time. He wasn't in the door for 5 minutes when he tried to sell me ANOTHER service,a lubricating system to make the A/C run better. He went downstairs to check the system, and came back stating that I needed a new filter. (Tech #2 sold us a filter that he claimed we could just "Clean out" a few times before replacing, since it was $$$$!) #3 went outside to check the unit. After 5 minutes outside, he said that the condenser fan motor was going bad, dual capacitor weak, and contactor badly pitted. Repair price for motor=$481.00 - Cap - $140.00 Contactor= $98.00 Total=$719.00, OR he said that he would just replace the condenser for 3,513.00. We declined, and told them we'd call them after we got some more estimates. Now, here's the really scary part. Our neighbor recommended a service from Batavia. We called, and simply asked them to check it out. Everything looked fine. Total cost = $90.oo.

We had just gotten back from vacation, only to find our air conditioner wasn't working. We called the top two HVAC contractors on Angie's List, and Golden Seal was the one that could fit us in same day on a Saturday. Robert arrived on time and diagnosed the broken circuit board. He didn't have the replacement part on his truck, but made a call and met up with another repair tech who did (for a $68 trip fee, reasonable for the 90 minute round trip). Returned 90 minutes later and replaced the board. Total time spent in our house on the diagnosis and repair was about 45 minutes. Overall, Robert was exceptionally professional, and we had already decided to sign up for an annual maintenance agreement based on the other Angie's List reviews, and they honored the 15 percent discount on this trip, essentially making the next air conditioning and furnace tune ups free.

Company called to confirm tech on his way during timeframe scheduled. Jim arrived and performed checks inside then outside home. Courteous and responsive, thorough in his descriptions and explanations. One of the original (1978) capacitors was defective so it was replaced and he had it on the truck (pricey at $142 but what choices do you have really). Work completed quickly and cleanly. Pleased with service.

Called for non-emergency furnace replacement right before spring sale ended. Sales person came out that day, evaluated options and went through them with me. Didn't pressure, but left me feeling a little over-sold. Thought things over a few days, then scheduled installation for new AC & furnace, got right on their calendar. Workmen showed up on time, were very professional & polite and took care to protect stairs, etc. At my request, they caulked leaks around the pre-existing humidifier, even though the leaks were pre-existing. Discovered humidifier didn't work properly after they left. Called for service, repairman came out within a day or two & discovered it hadn't been wired correctly to new thermostat. Quick fix, no charge. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They canceled on me 2 different times and I've used them over the past 7 years but wouldn't use them again or recommend them to others. The serviceman that came out, Adam, was rude and broke my furnace filter. He told me that no one at their company wants to service my furnace because it's difficult. His customer service was poor so I decided not to renew my contract with them. I felt intimidated by things he would say to me.

The technician cleaned and checked both furnaces. First he serviced the larger basement furnace, an 18 year old unit. Before starting the job, he stated that the type of furnace I have is prone to cracks, which can allow dangerous carbon monoxide into your home. In the middle of the cleaning and checkup he reported that I had a big problem in that there were cracks in the heat exchange unit and that he had turned off the furnace because he was required to do so by law if he found the furnace to be dangerous due to cracks. He did not test for carbon monoxide and a second and third opinion both indicated no visible cracks. Although we have subsequently decided to replace this furnace, (we are finishing out our basement and don't want the hassle of possibly needing to install a large furnace in the near term which might damage new paint and drywall)I did not feel comfortable in trusting the judgment of this company's representatives. Their focus seemed to be on selling me a new unit.
