The equipment has not failed me yet, and they show up on time for regular maintenance. When there was an issue with one of the ventilation ducts coming undone they came by and repaired it for free even though they didn't cause it. At one point they had to redo some routing of exhaust when my contractor told them the inspector said it wasn't code after my contractor enclosed the room (again, not their fault as the room was not closed off initially) and they fixed that for free as well.

They did an okay job. We have dealt with them in the past, but they did not do as good of a job this time. The workers did good, but it seemed like the office staff was not as sharp as before.

They are courteous and knowledgeable. They take care not to leave a mess in your home when they are doing some work. They give you a good idea on what is going on with your furnace or your air conditioning equipment.

We liked their attitude and their promptness. The quality of work was good. They answered questions.

I am on a service plan with them. I have two units. I pay up front for the maintenance, then do not pay anything more. I get 15% discount on any repair and a 5% discount on any products I have to purchase because of the contract. They seem to know what they are doing. I haven't had a problem with them. They are very good. They have a big crew. I get different people. Sometimes I feel like they are trying to sell me extra. It is very easy to schedule things.

Comfort Masters installed a new Lennox furnace for us in October 2009. It seemed a bit noisy at first and when I mentioned this to them they said it probably just sounds different because it is bigger than the one we had. Okay. 14 months later the furnace had gotten very loud and I call them to fix it. They charge $99 to come out and look at the furnace and say it needs a new part. The part and labor will cost $300. Okay. When the technician comes out he says the entire motor casing needs to be replaced and it must have been broken for a long long time. The furnace has a 12 month warranty. I'm sure it had been broken from the start, but I still ended up paying Comfort Masters $399 to fix it. I am disappointed in Comfort Masters and in Lennox.

They went out of their way to do the job. They were respectful to the woman folk, especially. Their prices were affordable and I recommend them. The workers were supposed to come back and complete some work, but they didn?t come. Then I called the person in charge and he sorted it out for me. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They worked for a couple of hours and reported that they took quite a bit of dirt from the ducts but never did show me what was collected. Some of the grills were replaced backwards.

I called the company at about 8:30 a.m. because the furnace was out. The first serviceman arrived at about 12:30 p.m. to diagnose the problem. The second man arrived at about 4:50 p.m. to fix it and left at about 5:15.

They were on time and completed the installation in less than one day. Their work was first class and the two installers were efficient and courteous, with great care taken of our wood floors as they brought the new furnace in and took the old one out. I have a monthly contract with Golden seal which gets me a furnace tune up and air conditioning tune up once per year with a 24 hour call out should I ever need it. The Salesman showed us how a 95% efficiency furnace could be cheaper than a lower efficiency (and cheaper) furnace due to gas company and Federal rebates. We had the higher efficiency furnace installed.

Golden Seal did a professional job in replacing the Furnace and Air Conditioner of my residence. The new equipment has eliminated poor coverage in the home and uses 20-25% less energy than the old unit.

During our annual inspection in 2009 our HVAC contractor warned us that the heat exchanger in our 28-yr old forced air furnace was cracked. A subsequent inspection by a different HVAC company resulted in an opinion that there was no crack. But that got us to thinking about replacing a unit that, crack or no crack, was likely on it's last legs. After taking bids from several companies we settled on Golden Seal, primarily because of a recommendation from a friend who had used them in the past. All of the estimates we received were pretty much the same so my friend's recommendation carried a lot of weight. The crew arrived on time, finished on time and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the work day. The only point of disappointment was their inability to install a chimney liner for the water heater but this was not their fault. We bought the house from a fellow who fancied himself a 'Bob Vila' clone but he was nothing of the sort. 'Bob' had installed a 3" cast iron sewer pipe as a bridge in the wall between the water heater and chimney. A 4" chimney liner won't fit through a 3" hole and they did not have the tools needed to remove the cast iron pipe. The cost for that part of the job was deducted from the final bill. We were able to contract that job out to another company. We would enthusiastically recommend Golden Seal.

There were a few problems during installation but they were quick to correct things. There was a problem arise a year later but with one phone call they found and admitted their error and corrected it quickly. Everything has been fine since and we would recommend this company.

They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. The system they put in is one we are very satisfied with. It is very efficient and we are very pleased with this company. We got prices from three companies and this was the lowest. We would use them again.

They were thorough and they answered all of my questions. They replaced the coil to the air conditioner unit. They did a really good job. I had a sick parent with me the day the furnace went out and they were quick to resolve the issue. I do trust them with their suggestions.

It went extremely well. 3 men worked very h****** what I would consider a difficult project. Finished in 6 hours. Having observed their work, I also consider the price was very fair. Clean up was super!

Our furnace was making a horrible noise, so we called Golden Seal. We've used them in the past and they've generally been good. This time however, they blew it. The technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty blower wheel, which had to be special ordered. Since we had a Bryant furnace, we called Youngrens (a Bryant dealer), who also didn't have it in stock. But since Youngrens quoted almost $100 less, we scheduled Youngrens to do the work. When Youngrens came out, they found that the blower wheel was in perfect shape. It was the motor and capacitor that was bad. So we had to pay Youngrens a restocking fee for the special-order part that Golden Seal misdiagnosed. Thankfully, Youngrens had the motor and capacitor in stock, and replaced them on the same visit. We are pretty sure that if Golden Seal had replaced the wheel, they would have then told us the motor and capacitor were also bad, and we would have spent even more money. Thankfully, there is a bit more to the story. We called Golden Seal and spoke to Sharon, the Service Manager. After faxing her the paperwork showing how the initial diagnosis was incorrect, she stood behind their "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" and refunded the $94. That's why we're rating them a C instead of an F.

They provide a package for the routine maintenance, both spring and fall, which is the price listed. I've been pleased with the services they have provided.

Bottom line,these guys are crooks and tried to charge me $700+ and selling me a new motor instead of looking to see if my motor was currently under warranty which ended up costing me $300+ I will stay away from them.

We have been very happy with them. They come when they say that they are going to come. If we have an emergency, they come out. They are professional, neat and seem to know exactly what they are doing to fix the problem.

They have been really good about everything. They come out about twice a year to get the work done. So, I have a yearly contract with them. I chose them initially for installing the heating and the AC unit and I felt that their price was the best. However, I haven't compared their price with any other company.

They were prompt to service the unit. The price just seemed a little high to service the humidifer.

All their service people are professional. They can take care of any equipment.

They are very prompt and give excellent service. They have always been very pleasant to work with, as well. I usually get the same technician, and feel very comfortable with him.

Routine maintenance was fine. I wish he'd known more about the duct dampers. I'd had someone from another company install them, and he'd adjusted them so that the a/c worked great at keeping the second floor as well as the rest of the house cool. After the Golden Seal tech left, I was able to make a few adjustments myself that allow a reasonable amount of air to reach the second floor.
