Description of Work: Re-poured concrete front porch stoop after sewer company repaired lateral line. Mitch was the only concrete contractor that was willing to come out and do a (relatively) small job - finished just before the first polar vortex comes into town. There were a few special details that needed attention - and Mitch and his son Sam took care of them perfectly. Friendly and professional - great job!

Not only did he provide a great price, he was very professional, arrived promptly, completed the job in the time frame he specified and left our property neat and clean . He was very accommodating as our plans evolved and the job grew to include not just the front step as originally quoted, but replacement slabs in a covered porch and a stamped concrete patio. We felt his price was competitive and his quote for the additional work was more than reasonable. Mitch was very personable, returned our phone calls promptly and answered all our questions. The finished product is of very high quality and we love the new patio! I would highly recommend Wet Works to anyone who needs cement work done.
Description of Work: Replacement of front steps, replacement of several cracked cement slabs and a stamped concrete patio replacing an old brick paver patio.

+ -1 moreMitch with Wet Works did an excellent job for me. I had a small job, replacing a very large front step with shorter, more easily accessible steps. Other contractors either did not reply, or they insisted we needed to re-do our sidewalk as well. One other proposal was for $1,770. Mitch came and gave us an honest proposal, not trying to sell us what we did not need. He got right back to us, said the work would be done in a week, and came put in the steps on that Saturday for us because that worked best with our schedule. He also charged us an honest, reasonable price for the work that was done. He was very nice and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to hire him again or refer others to him. It was a very positive experience.

+ -1 moreIt was a pleasure to work with Mitch. I started with an idea that proved to be a little over my budget. Mitch was patient through a number of phone calls in which I asked for new estimates for an adjusted plan and then another adjusted plan. Mitch helped me think of ways I could reduce the price a little, such as not having him take the soil away from the property - I had a place I could use it and it saved a substantial amount to not have it hauled away. Mine was a relatively small job and I did not mind having Mitch work me in between other jobs he had, so it was a few weeks between my first contact, getting the village permit and actually having the concrete pad finished. Mitch was reliable about getting the concrete completed and ready by the date when the shed construction was to start.
Description of Work: I had a concrete pad poured for a garden shed. The area for the shed had to be cleared, leveled, and soil removed before the framing could be constructed and concrete poured.
