Sales process a little slow but complete. Carpet came in time as quoted (carpet was in stock). Company's communication is a little off prior to installation. Install crew took care not to damage my house while delivering and installing carpet. They did the job as expected and promised.

I have used Georgia Carpets for 38 years whenever I have needed new carpeting for our home and my parent's and now our daughter's homes. They provide wonderful service, quality carpet and padding and work very diligently to meet our scheduling needs. Bob has been my contact through the years. He takes the time to explain the merits of different carpeting, he has an unerring sense of color, never rushes a purchase and wants to make sure I am getting exactly what I want and need. Within the past 8 weeks he also assisted our daughter in choosing carpeting for her new home. She replaced all of the upstairs and stairway carpeting. She is pleased with the color and quality of the carpeting as well as the installation.

This is the second time I've used Georgia Carpets. They have provided the best pricing and installation went very smoothly. I like that they let me take home several samples home and worked with my measurements and cuts to save money. This was part of a very large remodel and they did not pressure me into the purchase and held my order for several months due to delays with our contractor. The installers are very professional and did a good job. They showed me a problem area in the basement to keep an eye on. Some would have just laid the carpet and not say a thing.

I worked with Howard. He was great! Very helpful and generated the price quotes very quickly. They let me take a couple of samples home to see how the color would work out. They also have a little kid's drawing area in the store which made it a lot easier since I had to bring my little one with. The person who came to do the measurements, Dennis, he was on time, professional and polite. The installers (Tom and Jesus) showed up on time - very polite and professional and did a great job! We would gladly use them again in the future!

Their service was excellent. They are very reputable. They worked out a deal with a remnant one which really saved us some money. We would rate them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future.

Carpet is not fun to deal with, but Georgia Carpet made it not painful at all. They helped us move furniture (for a reasonable $). They were professional, fair, and respectful of our home. They would be on our very short list to use again!

They were helpful in picking out the carpet, they have a huge selection. Bob was great to work with and worked with my budget. They used our old padding and they replaced some of it and a lot of places will not do this for you. They let us take home sample books for selections. I did use their installer. They did haul away the old carpeting for us.

From the estimate to the individual installers, everyone was prompt, quick, and professional. A great overall experience.

At the Georgia Carpets store, Jeff fully explained all the options available to us in recarpeting our basement after water destroyed our previous carpeting. They let us take several samples home to evaluate in the intended space. After placing our order, the carpeting was ready for installation in just a week and a half. The installers arrived punctually and worked their butts off for hours. It was well worth the minimal extra cost to have them move around the 6 or 7 pieces of furniture that we just could not remove from the basement--at the end, the installers placed each piece in the spot we directed them to. They did a fantastic job installing the carpet, matching the pattern perfectly. It was a large area so took around 5-6 hours--and if I have any quibble, it would be only that I wish I had asked for an estimate of how long the installation would take. I would highly recommend Georgia Carpets (and already have, to my brother) to anyone in need of a solidly professional and great-to-work with carpet company.

They are good all the way around. They are very responsive and very professional. They gave me a lot of feedback in terms of what I wanted and in terms of what would coordinate with the colors I brought. They gave me feedback even on procedures like rescheduling and other things. They have a cancellation fee on there just in extreme cases like if a customer is going to go and play golf or when a customer has been blatantly not responsible for calling them. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They arrived on time, installed professionally and cleaned up after themselves. The quality of the installation was excellent. Angie's list recommendation was 'right on' with Georgia Carpets. I am very pleased with the quality, price and how efficiently the installers did their job.

These people are great & so are their prices. This is the second carpet install they have done for me in less than one year. They have now re-carpeted my entire house. The sales staff is helpful & not pushy. They will go out of their way to make sure you get the best product to meet your needs. I wanted a special carpet pad they normally did not install and they credited me for the cost of the pad that was included in the per yard installed price (naturally, I paid for the special pad I wanted.) Install crew arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend Georgia carpets (they do hardwood & laminates, too; not sure about tile).

The whole process was excellent. Jeff,our salesman, was very knowledgable about the product and the installation process. He worked with us very closely to coordinate the install date and to ensure that the install went smoothly. Our installers, Joe and Anthony, were very professional and worked very efficiently. They had originally estimated 4 days for the install, but completed the project in 3 days. The worksite was cleaned up after the install. We are extremely pleased with our new floor and how it has upgraded the appearance of the rooms, stairwell and hallway. We will definitely use Georgia Carpets again and will highly recommend them to any of our friends and family.

As always - the sale process was helpful, informative and low-key. The installation was very professional and courteous...and oh yeah, beautifully done. And the price - at least 20% lower than anywhere else. I actually shopped around this time, with the thought that over the years a new competitor might have popped up. What a waste of time! I can't recommend this company and their great staff more highly.

Georgia Carpets has a huge selection and our salesman Bob did a great job of helping us to select our carpet. We took home many samples over a 3 week period. After we picked out a carpet, and had the measurements taken, we came in to make the purchase. Our salesman described the process we would follow to help minimize any problems that might come up. The installation went very well. The 2 man crew did a great job. They were hard-working and courteous. They even made some adjustments so that the carpet would fit better than the carpet they replaced. They cleaned up all the waste and left the basement very tidy. The entire process went great. I will definitely use Georgia Carpets again.

You have to go to the store to make your selection (and they have tons and tons of carpet) - YOU get to choose exactly what YOU want at the price you want (unlike other companies that bring out a small selection of samples from which to choose). We described what we were looking for, a budget, and the sales staff guided us to the type of carpet we wanted and we were left to browse the samples. No pressure from staff at all. We arranged for measurement, and then installation. The intstallers showed up, on time and installed approx. 900 sq ft of carpet in our basement in 1/2 day. The installation was beautiful. Carlos and his crew did a great job, There is rough cedar paneling in the room and were even going to cut the carpet around each and every panel (We told them that was not necessary - but they would make that laborious effort if we wanted)! They did some extras so the transitions from carpet to tile looked better. The carpet on the stairs is a work of art. The work is top notch.We had to call the store and tell them how pleased we were with the work. And the price...Georgia carpet beat the competition. We got a total of 4 bids and Georgia carpet was priced best. We also went with Georgia because they are a local and family owned business.

I met with Phil at Georgia Carpet in May and checked out a number of pattern options. He gave me good advice on types of carpet for the use we planned in the stairwell and upstairs foyer, estimates of the job before a measurement was actually done so we knew what we were facing as far as cost went. After I picked out color and design samples we took home for a few days, we placed ordered the carpet. We gave a credit card deposit at that time; very easy. We had chosen a mid-July install a month in the future between our travel assignments -- and the installer -- Dave -- was right on time and did a fabulous job described above. I also note that he did a neat job of taking out the old nasty carpeting, cutting it into neat small rolls so we could dispose with our normal weekly trash. We had recently had the stairwell walls painted in a cathedral design, so we were a bit worried about scuffs from the old carpet rip out and reinstall. The job was neat and there was no damage to the paint. NO mess to our home! Great job! I would use these guys anytime and highly recommend! We are picky about how work gets done in our place, and Georgia Carpets, who was recommended to us buy others as well as confirmed then on Angies List, will get our endless support.

Showroom sales people were very polite and helpful and let me take several samples several times to check out colors/quality at home. Installers were prompt and worked quickly and efficiently. The installation took less time than I had anticipated.

They are a family owned company which I liked. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. They were very good at communicating with me about appointments and pricing. They made sure to call me before they came out. They came out on time. The price was fair.

This is the third time that I've purchased carpet from Georgia Carpets. I've shopped around and no other company in the Western suburbs beats the selection, price, and quality of Georgia Carpets. Bob Lieberman is an expert salesperson and gives great assistance in selecting the type and color of carpet. Installation is always top-notch too: the installers arrived exactly when scheduled, the new carpet looks fantastic, and they hauled all of the old carpeting to the curb.
