The mulching is the only thing that we have been disappointed in. It looks like he put minimal mulch down. When we have had it done before they put enough mulch down so that you actually can see a difference. That was the only thing, but I wouldn't ding him on that. He is dependable and answers calls. He comes out to actually see the yard so that we get correct pricing. They are here when they say and recommend things, but don’t push. I will continue to use him.

They have done work for me a couple of times. Everything went as expected so that's a very good thing.

Quick with the estimate (came out twice to ensure the right measurements and to ensure they would do exactly as I wanted/needed. Estimated start in a month, but actually finished the job 2 weeks from estimate. Very thorough, neat, and complete.

Nothing in particular stands out about them.

I really would like them to send me the estimate for the work I've asked them to do. I haven't received the estimate they promised me. I would like to work with them because they are a highly-rated local company. If they are not interested in doing the work I've requested, that's just fine, but I haven't received that refusal from them, so I'm still waiting. I'll be happy to delete this report once I do receive an estimate or a refusal of work.

Benito's saved our lawn. The former landscaper had burner our grass and we had all kinds of weeds and crab grass. Benitio showed up the same day I called him and his guys started the next day. Within two months we had the best looking lawn in the neighborhood.

A great experience from a great company. I contacted Benito's based upon the reviews here, and couldn't have been more impressed with what I got! I initially called to find out the cost of removing the ridiculous amount of pea gravel that the previous owners of our home had installed to create some pathways in our 1/2 acre yard, and under a recently removed children's play-set. I left a message at approx. 1pm on a Tues, and had a call back at 1:15 from Dean at Benito's. He arranged for Benito to come by the following morning to provide an estimate. Benito was out bright and early, and called to let me know he'd be here if I had any questions. While speaking with him during the estimate, I decided to add a "Spring Clean-up" to the program, and asked if he'd haul away the huge pile of former swing-set. I had a string of days off coming up starting Friday, and wanted to be able to install the new swing-set asap, so I let him know my schedule. Benito delivered an estimate that night via email. Upon my approval, his crew were at my house and working at 8am on Thursday morning! All the crew members were friendly, and greeted me in the morning and supposedly were good with my kids who were excited to get involved in all the activity. To say I was impressed, was an understatement. His crew worked tirelessly until about 6pm! Apparently, they even helped a delivery man bring a treadmill into the house! This tells you what kind of people they have working for them. Well above and beyond. Although I wasn't home when he finished, by the time I returned, I had already received inquiries from neighbors as to who had cleaned up our yard. In the morning, I understood why: The yard looked fantastic! It had endured a good year or more of neglect during the house sale/purchase process and needed a little love. Love is what it got. It looked as if they had mowed, the beds were not only cleared out, but had appeared to have been raked to turn the top layer of compacted soil, the spade edging created a clean, distinct border to all the beds, and the crew adjusted a couple of the beds that had "gone natural" and lost their shape to create a manicured look. It is the "wow" result that you expect from professional landscaping services but rarely receive. By the end of the weekend, I had received more calls from neighbors and ended up coordinating a group of 5 homes to have work performed. Benito and Dean were, again, very responsive; and came out to do estimates promptly. The additional homes ended up having the "Spring Clean-up" service I had received, and also added mulching of beds and lawn aeration. It seemed that I simply had to join my neighbors in the additional work; so I had Benito add me to the list for Mulch and Aeration. By the following Monday, Estimates became contracts, and Benito and 3 of his crews were on our block for a landscaping bonanza! I won't speak to my neighbor's experience to keep in the spirit of Angie's Lists first-hand account. But, I will say that the block looks spectacular and all of us have had inquiries as to who did our yard work. I think the group will be bigger in the fall. The mulching and aerating lived up to and exceeded expectations. I even got a call from Dean to make sure everything was up to expectations. When was the last time you got a follow-up call from a landscaper!? Thanks to Benito, Dean and the crews and thanks to Angie's List for helping me find them.

They do a good job and render quality work. They are quick. They are reasonable and don't charge you for their gas mileage.

This was our first season of hiring a landscape service to do our lawn. We got three estimates and Benito's was the lowest. They were prompt and neat and often did things we had not asked for--like taking away all our fall yard waste, not just the leaves, and cleaning out our gutters. We were very pleased and our neighbors thought they did a good job too since they have also hired them this year.

They are very punctual and their prices are pretty competitive. They are all pleasant. I would recommend getting a quote from them and using them.

I didn't get around to getting any other estimates. He seemed like a good guy. I called him, and he stopped by my place. I was pleased with the interaction that I had. He was extremely responsive.

excellent. their pricing was competitive, they arrived when they said they would and did a wonderful job. I have other landscaping projects that I want to have them do.

We starting using them about a year ago when we moved and we are happy with their services. They are prompt, efficient, responsive and do quality work on our lawn and garden. They did some cleaning up of our flower gardens and really do know what they are doing. They are mid-range in price -- not the cheapest or the most expensive. They do quality work and are dependable. I am pleased with their knowledge, skill and professionalism..

They showed up on time, maintained great communication from start to finish, and did a great job. I would use them again.

We called Benito's Landscaping, and within 30 minutes he was at our house to give an estimate. They did all the work the next day. We are very pleased and will call him again in the spring. We highly recommend.

They got the job done, but they had to return to fix an issue with the stone walk.

I received an estimate the day I called Benito He and an assistant did the work on a Saturday when I could be home The work was done very quickly and all clippings were cleaned up and hauled away Will definitly use Benito's services in the future

We had a lot that had a lot of overgrown grass and weeds and we needed it to be cleaned up. Benito did a great job cleaning up the lot, and did so very quickly.

They were 6.5 hours late showing up due to a very bad storm that had hit the night before causing downed trees etc. That was understandable. They finally showed up at 2:30 and worked until 9pm. They were back bright and early Sunday morning and finished around noon. They worked constantly. All supplies were delivered in advance and that made things go smoothly. Overall the work done was what I asked for, but they did nothing to go above and beyond and I think they are a bit pricey but the work was OK.

Prompt response to my call. Appointment for an estimate was set for the next day, Pasquale was on time-estimate emailed within 24 hours. Work was performed as scheduled, and was better than I expected. They are now our regular yard and landscapers.

We called Benito's landscaping and asked them to come out and give us a quote on some landscaping we wanted done as well as removing a chain-link fence in our backyard. They came out as promised, walked the property and submitted a proposal to us via email in just a few days! We felt the pricing was right on for what we wanted done. We started with the removal of the fence and will definitely be using Benito's services for the rest of our landscaping needs. We will be having our existing grass removed, they will work the soil, add fresh topsoil and over-seed the front and backyard. The quote for this work was $2150. I would recommend this company for your landscaping needs. Thanks!

Benito did an excellent job. I was late in submitting the paperwork for my proposal. He let me pay in full upon completetion. All I asked for was the stump grinded away. I had dug out the other one directly next to the one he worked on. So there was already a very large hole. Not only did Benito grind my stump away, he grated the area and back filled both holes. I was very suprised by the effort he took to satisfy his customers. He will be the first company I call when I did some land scaping work. Other companies were quoting me twice as much and requiring me to clean up.

Benito and Pasquale provided excellent customer service. I intended to install brick paver in the backyard in place of a former deck, but the additional cost, though reasonable, was not in my budget at this time, so I opted for sod. Pasquale spent a considerable amount of time chalking the area I intended for the brick paver to provide a visual; also, he was always available by phone or offered to come out when I had questions or concerns during the two day project. I was very pleased with the outcome and the service.
