We contacted Benito's about getting a quote for creating a hardscape patio off our deck, as well as a decorative fountain. Their initial quote came in the middle of the estimates that we received, but they were willing to work with us to get closer to a lower number. After we decided upon the plans, they took care of all the permit applications and plans. Having them handle that for us was a HUGE plus! They called as soon as they got approval to move forward and set a date to do the work. They were punctual and their workers were very nice and polite to my family and I. The project was a little more difficult that previously quoted due to some uneven ground that required additional stone work. Benito's charged us only for the additional materials and not for the additional labor time that they did not account for. They also were willing to work with us as we made some minor changes due to suggestions from Dean and Paschal that might look better. They were very concerned that we liked the work that was being done and were very flexible with what we wanted. They were also able to refer us to a very fairly priced handyman to help with an additional project that we needed assistance with. We are very happy with our patio, concrete pad, fountain, and flower boxes. They really did a lovely job. The only possible con is that they did not use design software so it was hard to tell what it was going to look like before it was done, but we knew what we wanted so this wasn't a problem for us. I would use them again and would recommend them highly.

The quote was very reasonable and they did a fantastic job. There is no way to tell where the existing and new brick were even put together. And the curved edging is just beautiful. We worked with Pasqual on site for quote and job management and Dean in the office. They were both great to work with. Their crew was here each day early in the morning and were very professional. We had no idea of the details that went into putting in these patios and was amazing to watch all the layers they use for a long lasting, beautiful layout. We use it everyday rain or shine since it's under the shade of the trees and overhang.

Dean is so low key over the phone that at first I found it hard to believe there were so many rave reviews. It was clear from that first conversation, however, that I was dealing with a professional organization. Dean talked me through the estimation process and then one of his lead guys came out the next day to talk through the work with my partner. They sent the estimate-detailed, with cost by job, the very next day. It took me about a week to respond with what I wanted done, and then again, the very next day, I got an and quot;OKand quot; message and an approximate date when they would come out. They sent an e-mail and called when they had a firm date for arrival. They missed that date (a Saturday), but when I called to ask about a reschedule the following Monday, they were already at my house and on the job. They did spectacular work. I didn't see a weed anywhere, and the beds were so beautifully detailed that it was as if the Lawn Fairy had come to call. They left 2 trees that were part of the estimate, but when we called to ask about it, they scheduled us again and they came about when they said they would. That work was also meticulously done, and it looks better than even my persnickety mind expected it to be. The prices was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. I would definitely call them again. I don't see any reason to take my business to anyone else. I want to address the other comments about their responsiveneess. It did take a day or so for them to respond each time I contacted them, but I consider that very reasonable. Frankly, I think it is a bad sign when a landscaping company answers the phone on the first ring or calls back in 15 minutes, especially in the busy season. There are no weeding and quot;emergenciesand quot; and everything I had could easily wait the day that it took them to return my call. It was such a non-issue, I hesitate to comment except to say that this should not be a deterrent to anyone. Call them and then have the patience to wait for their call back. and quot;Rightand quot; is better than and quot;Right nowand quot;, and Benito's exemplifies and quot;Rightand quot; all the way.

It took a while to start the job due to the incredible hot and dry summer we had. I'm glad that Dean and Pascual knew when to install and when not to so we would not lose our new lawn and greenery. From the second the team showed up to when they left, they were professional, courteous and hard working. Not only did they complete all the work per the quote, they also mowed our front lawn, put in new seed in some dead areas up front and trimmed up our front and side yard landscaping! The crew clearly took pride in the work they did, and did not want to leave our house unless it was completely finished!! Talk about going above and beyond! We have been diligently watering within our town's restrictions and the new sod and foliage is simply amazing. I don't think a day has gone by where we have not been sitting out in our new backyard enjoying it. My only regret is that we did not do this ten years ago!! Benito's has a faithful new customer. I started by calling for an estimate and Dean and Benito came out to measure my yard. Dean was great at answering all of my questions and providing advice where needed. About a week after they came out, I got a very detailed estimate, with everything broken down my line item so I could pick and choose what fit my budget best. Never was there any pressure to bundle projects together. No task was to small for them. After I decided on the projects I wanted them to complete, I called them to put down my deposit and they said jobs at that point were 2-3 weeks out and they would call me when they would be coming out. They took a credit card over the phone to pay the initial 50% deposit and mailed me a receipt. About 2 weeks after putting down my credit card deposit, I had called over to ask about other services and at the same time, inquiring with Dean if they knew when my job would be put on the schedule. I was surprised to learn that I was scheduled for first thing the next morning. I hadn't received a call notifying me they were coming the next morning. But I was happy they were coming out. Not sure if it was a coincidence or if I happened to call before they were going to call me that afternoon, but I was thrilled they were starting my job the next day. In fact, it happened that later that evening, they finished a job early so they came to my house at the end of the day to tear out all of the bushes. They returned first thing the next morning like promised to lay down the topsoil and sod. Dean then called me the following day to ask if he could put the rest of the balance on the same credit card. All in all, I have had an extremely positive experience with this company. I have a lot of future landscape options that I will run by Dean and have Benito's Landscaping handle. I'm already thinking about the next phase of work I want to schedule with them. The biggest pluses of this company is the no pressure estimates. I am able to complete my landscaping needs in phases based on my budget. Their pricing is fair. I had other companies come in lower but they all wanted the full job at once, so I guess it's safe to expect to pay a little higher when they have to come out multiple times to complete all the work over multiple phases. I found it strange I hadn't gotten a call to let me know they when they were coming out to start my job, but again, it's quite possible I beat them to it. Communication has been great, they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the work they do is top quality!

It went well as we have come to expect, from estimate, planning and execution. Benito's does a great job and at a reasonable price. Our neighbor tells us that our yard looks like a park!

It was estimated to be a four day job and that is exactly how long it took them. The team was punctual, skilled and accomodating. Excellent job!

They did a beautiful job. There were a few 'problems' initially with the size of the overall patio and the height in comparison to the shed. They were very accommodating. Their main concern was that I was happy with the job. They fixed it exactly the way I wanted it and they did it with a smile. I plan on calling them again in the next week to do more work.

I was amazed by how much work 3 men can do in 90 degree weather. They went beyond what I was expecting and were fantastic. They had to clean out the weeds from the play lot that I gave up on, and got down on hands and knees to apply the plastic barrier. They cleaned up not only the drive way where they dumped mulch and top soil, but also the porch and side walk. They even emptied the now melted ice from the cooler of water I gave them! I would have them back at any time. The estimate was spot on, and they were right on time. You can't go wrong with Benito's.

They first had a guy that came out and did a quote. He left some prices, and it was kind of confusing. Benito himself came out on a Friday. He walked around the lawn with me. He was very honest. He was not pressuring. He told me what I would need to do if I did it myself. He was great and very professional. I respect him a lot. It seemed like he was wanting to help.

Great. My call was returned quickly, I was given an estimate in a couple of days and was able to get them started right away.

After looking through many different companies, I decided to go with them. They've done an excellent job! They completed the work in 2 days, a Friday and Saturday. They were professional, on time, and before leaving they made sure that I was satisfied with the work that they did.

Dean and Benito are always responsive to my requests for landscaping needs. We've used their services for two years now and they have always gone above and beyond what would be expected. I've had other landscaping firms from my area do work in the past, but Benito's is by far the most meticulous and knowledgeable. They arrived mid afternoon and completed the job in about 3 hours with a 4 man crew, including Benito. I checked on the work periodically and found them to be quite competent. Past experience with other landscapers caused some destruction to my clematis and other small plants. But Benito's passed all of my expectations with flying colors! Their price was extremely reasonable and I gave the guys an extra $45 for their hard effort. If you're looking for excellent service and fair pricing, then give Benito's a call! Their prices were excellent, were responsive to email requests and questions (a must for me but an area where many here on Angie's list seem to fail) and eventually did good work. The series of projects took much longer than I thought and was promised (though some of the delay was due to bad weather) and there were a couple of times where I had to email and quot;pokeand quot; them about project dates and incomplete work that I normally would have expected to not have to do (because the vendor would be contacting me). All things considered they did a good job and I would use them again. And I was pleased to be able to find and use a good local vendor.

The estimate process was extremely solid. We had a difficult time deciding exactly what work we wanted completed. Dean and Benito exercised a lot of patience and came to our home more than once during the estimate process. They offered suggestions throughout the process that were welcomed. The gentlemen who came out to do the work were punctual and hard working. They treated our yard like it was theirs, which is the highest compliment I can give. I asked them to remove a few plants and prune a branch that was not included in the estimate and they were more than willing to take on the extra tasks. No shorts cuts.

Dean and Bob were very responsive to my request for quotation and scheduled the work promptly. There were a couple of delays in getting the quote and in the start of the work. The delays were all for cause but could have been communicated to me in a more timely manner. The employees were all highly professional and I was highly satisfied with the work performed. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. And, I am already scheduling them to perform additional services.

So far, I am happy with everything. I would recommend them. They have been very responsive. The yard looks better each time they come. They have been very responsive. I will continue to use this service.

I used Benito's for the first time this year and was extremely happy. Dean responded to my written request immediately, and was very helpful in getting me several estimates to review. We agreed to a scope of work and price and the team came yesterday to complete the job: edging of all trees and garden spaces, mulch and installation. The team that came to my house was professional, courteous and very hard working. Benito's offered competitive pricing for a quality product and I was very happy with my experience. I would reccomend them and plan to use them again in the future.

I have used them twice already. I used them once before to plant a tree for me because the tree I had died last year and they came out and replaced it for free, under warranty. They have done a great job. I rate them highly. I will use them again in the future if needed.

He was very nice and apologetic about our being outside his service area. He even recommended 2 other businesses that I could try! I only wish I could have used him.

Benito's was always on time, professional, and delivered value for the price. He directed his crew to do the job right and I never had a problem in 2 years of weekly service. They did a great job mowing, trimming, and blowing the driveway and decks. They also removed leaves in the fall and weeded the many garden beds periodically. They responded quickly to every request and gave me a quick turnaround on an estimate to replace the fence. I didn't end up using them for that because we moved.

Dean contacted me the same day to set up an appointment to give an estimate. Dean was fantastic! So easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the job. They were out within a few days with an estimate that was right in line with what I was hoping for and offered to start working that weekend. Every other landscaper was quoting 4-5 week delays. The crew that came to do the work was efficient and professional. They worked quickly and cleanly always asking for my opinion on how the work was progressing. I would use Benito's again in a heartbeat!
