Overall the experience was good. Dean was responsive and accurate in his estimates. His team did the work as promised. Regarding quality, overall i think it was good. I cant completely decide on the quality until next spring when I see the final results. In sum, I have been happy so far. I am likely to work with them again in the future.

We have never had a yard service before, but the condition of our garden beds had gotten out of control. Benito's staff were responsive and friendly over the phone, by e-mail and in person. They provided the estimate during a busy time of the season, so I didn't expect super-fast service. I give them a slightly lower rating on punctuality only because I didn't hear from them for a little longer than they estimated, so I sent an e-mail reminder, but it turned out they planned on coming out right around that time. I believe the heat and draught affected their work.schedule. The yard looked great and the crew did all our requests to our satisfaction or better, including taking care of an area that hadn't been in the initial estimate (because it was in flower at the time). I think they offer good value and will use Benito's again.

I first contacted Benito's in May for several small projects around my yard to be done in the summer. They came out quickly to give me a quote, the work was done according to my schedule and the guys showed up on time. I had them back again in the fall to put in a retaining wall along a new driveway and a small paver patio area along the driveway. I was very pleased with their work and would have them back again. My only complaint would be that either due to a misunderstanding or a lack of accurate note taking, my first quote from them seemed to be incomplete because when the work was done there were additional charges for work I assumed was included in the quoted price because it was discussed during the walk thru prior to scope out the work. I will have more work to be done in the spring and will probably have Benito's back again.

We moved into a home that had some backyard drainage issues. I saw that this company had good reviews and we called them before we moved in. They went to the house and did an estimate while the previous owners were still there which was great. We did not understand what the work was going to look like, so before we spent almost 8K we wanted them to come out one more time when we were there and walk us through it. They said fine and we set up a date for the day after the move. They never showed. I called and they did not respond. I had to go out of town, so my husband tried and also did not get a response back. At first we were very nice about it, we get that people get busy and they had already done the work for the estimate, so we were dumbstruck as to how now they did not seem to want the work anymore. We really needed a fence installed both because of our dogs and my mother-in-laws Alzheimer's. The fence was waiting on the landscaping. We finally gave up and due to the winter coming put the fence up without the landscaping. Hopefully doing things backwards will not cost us more money in the spring. They really did seem like nice people, so maybe this was a holiday (Thanksgiving) blip. UPDATE: The owner saw this review and did call me. He apologized and does seem like a really good guy. I think this was just one of those weird one offs.

They responded quickly to my email requesting an estimate. They came out the next day and walked the property with me and I quickly got their estimate. They performed the job within a few days. They did all that I had requested them to do. I think the price was reasonable.

Sent an email asking for a quote. Received a call the next day, guy came out a few days later. We walked around the yard, talked about the project, he took some measurements and said he'd email me a quote. Received that two days later, decided to go with them, work was scheduled for two weeks out. They arrived on time, performed all work within a day, and besides leaving some dirt on my driveway, were very clean. Grass came in great, and we love our new yard.

I had scheduled different jobs for them for the fall. They always showed up right on time and did a great job. Nice guys on site, nice guys in the office. My first time ever working with a landscaping service. Very pleased.

During the busiest part of the Fall clean-up season, Benito's Landscaping was able to add me to their schedule within just a few days of my initial call. There were several things I expected them to do (cut back plantings, remove leaves, etc.) and some things I hoped they might do (remove of a large pile of branches I had created over the summer, remove a big pile of muck left behind by my gutter cleaners). THEY DID IT ALL, and the yard looks excellent!! (I thought the estimated $350 was a tad high at first, but now that I see all the work they did, I realize I got a pretty darn good deal.)

A very pleasant experience from start to finish. Benito's tree trimming was excellent: Waste removal was good; we have many bushes and evergreens plus a complicated multi-headed evergreen requiring intense sculpturing. Pricing was very reasonable. We plan to use this service again.

They didn't respond to calls or emails.

They worked with me at every step of the way. I wanted to use a certain credit card, but they didn't have it set up with their bank yet, so they gave me a 3% deduction in price. They showed up on time, with a VERY knowledgeable and hard working crew. Accomplished everything they said they would and left my yard clean and without any damage. I will definitely use this service again.

Crew arrived on time and started working. The 4 man crew worked together very well and completed the job and clean-up. I will be using Benito's in the spring for additional landscaping and tree services.

I contacted a number of landscapers to obtain a quote for landscaping services and Benito's Landscaping is the only one who responded in a timely manner. They provide outstanding lawn care service, are always on time and extremely professional. I recently contacted them for additional services and they again provided me with a competitive quote in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.

They only problem was with scheduling. The crew arrived unannounced on the day I was packing to leave on vacation, and I would not be home to care for the new seed. After a phone call, the scheduler agreed to postpone the work until my return. I did appreciate the fact that they had many jobs to schedule, especially in light of unusual spring weather conditions. The difficulty could have been avoided if I had at least been advised of what particular week they would be coming. Aside from that, they did an excellent job. The crew consulted with me before, during, and after the work, to be sure it was done to specifications. They explained exactly what they were going to do and how it would be done. They asked whether I wanted and quot;tree circlesand quot; dug around bushes and a tree. They were exceedingly careful not to uproot my daffodil leaves/bulbs that lined the front walk. I even observed one of the workers tediously pulling out grass by hand so as not to disturb the daffodils. They had me inspect the progress of the work and the finished product. The grass seed grew quickly and uniformly. Not only was I very pleased, but I received many positive comments from neighbors on the block. Unfortunately, the hot, dry summer took its toll; however, I will have Benito's return and overseed the lawn in the spring.

They arrived on time, provided the estimate in a timely manner, and acted professionally. However, we decided to postpone the work due to the cost.

Benito was punctual in coming out to meet with my husband and me. Understood concerns especially about needing something to have water from sump pump run pour and rest away from our house. Said he could do even though two other vendors I had called told me that it could not be done. Was prompt in providing estimate. Benito's landscaping team came to our home three times; very punctual. Did an extraordinary job in digging and removing overgrown trees and dead shrubs. Chopped up and removed debris extremely well. Pipework done extremely well. Cannot tell that they had dug up and ran underground. Did nice job in planting new shrubs. Will definitely be contacting Benito again about performing fertilizing and other services.

Everything went well. They worked extremely hard to remove the stumps/roots which was no easy feat. We could not be more pleased. Thanks to Pasqual and to our crew.

We purchased a property which was not the primary residence of the previous owner, so the landscaping appeared to have been neglected for a couple of years. We found Benito's through Angie's List and got a quote for a complete clean-up of the wooded, half-acre lot. My jaw dropped when I found out it would cost over a thousand bucks. But we decided to suck it up since it was a one-time thing (hopefully) and the reviews for Benito's services were so strong. After two full days of work (including one day in the rain) with a crew of 4, our property looks amazing. I even saw a couple of folks from the neighborhood drive by, stop their car, and get out to get Benito's contact information. They must have noticed the night-and-day transformation of the property. In a nutshell, high-quality, detailed workmanship that justified the price tag.

They are easy to do business with. I was actually out of the country while the work was being done, and when I came back, everything was done right.

I would recomend Benito's landscaping to anyone looking for a prompt professional, high-grade work, we couldn't be much happier with the results.

This is the second year we have used Benito's and we are still pleased with his work. He does what he says and follows up to make sure we are pleased.

Work was done very quickly and with great quality. Had one issue with an area that was missed - I had to call to have it fixed, and there seemed to be some confusion as to what I wanted fixed actually being communicated to the crew as they came back and did something I didn't ask for. In the end, though, I wound up getting extra work done at no cost to me, and the area that needed to be fixed was finally fixed so I was very pleased. I would use them again.
