Excellent. Our patio is our "happy place". Over 25 years ago DM built our deck when we purchased our home which we enjoyed for many years before we decided to remove the deck and replace it with a patio. We immediately thought to contact DM for our patio. The quality of the construction is so good that we have never had to have anything repaired since the patio and retainer walls were built over 10 years ago. We recently contacted DM because we are planning some additional enhancements to our backyard including additional retainer walls.

Dino and his crew did a great job in building a deck with Pergola. Dino first understood the requirements in detail and he also coordinated with the village and the HOA to get the necessary paperwork and inspection done. He provided timely communication and also suggestions in case of any issues. Would highly recommend him

Dino and his crew were so great to work with from Day 1. I had a pinterest picture of what I wanted to do, and he made it happen! He tweaked things along the way with no hesitation when I asked him to. His crew was professional and punctual and they did not cut any corners. Our deck turned out beautifully, and with the extra added touches, it was more then I could have asked for! We are now working with Dino again to do a patio and side walk! It's hard to find an all-in-one stone/decking/landscaping company and DM Outdoor Living Spaces does it all! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

They were very professional from start to finish. They took great care in the construction of the new deck as well as the tear down of the old.

His team was very professional and worked quickly. The patio is fabulous. He created a beautiful outdoor living space that we'll enjoy for years to come. Dino really listened to us, provided some great ideas and then executed them well. He also worked with us to save some costs as well. Highly recommend!

It went great. We wanted the work done in a rush before we had landscaping done around the deck. Dino accommodated our schedule and worked within our requested time frame. The job was done very well and it solved our problem. Critters have given up on our deck as a home and have moved on.

Dino was prompt in submitting his proposal. He was prompt and patient in answering my many questions. His pricing was very good and charges for the extras we added to the job were very reasonable reflecting actual costs. He helped us improve our original design so we ended up with a beautiful addition to our home. The work was done promptly and expertly. His firm even relocated several of our existing plants to new locations not being impacted by the deck( a service not offered by some of the firms I talked to.). Overall a very good experience and a great deck.

The owner was prompt in returning my calls, listened to my ideas and suggested some improvements to my design. Construction was completed on time with no extra charges and all construction debris were removed from the property. Not only does the deck look very good, but the quality of the hidden supporting structure exceeded my expectations (and I'm an engineer).

Dino did a wonderful job designing the decks and front stairs, taking the ideas we had and making them into a reality. His crew did a lot of work! They have solid craftsmanship, building the decks & railing with all the important details to really "make it pop". Quality materials & quality labor at a very fair price. Thank you Dino and all the guys who worked so hard, the deck is awesome to sit on and the house is looking good!

We have used her for several years and she does a wonderful job and is very reasonable. She has planted items, given me advice on landscaping my yard and has done a great job maintaining it. She listens to what I am looking for and gives me great ideas.

They did a fantastic job, everything looks good, they fixed problem areas We hardly knew hat they were here, The job took about a month from bid to completion but we were both busy and agreed on a later date

Dino came out and met with me to fully understand my needs after a couple photo's were provided to him. He had some GREAT idea's and designs! He spent a lot of time adjusting designs and trying to figure out exactly what I wanted and exactly what would work and would not work for our backyard deck and mini patio. Good communication, fast follow up. We did decide to go with another deck company that provided me with a comparable quote only because the estimate was a bit more detailed and complete as we were very specific about the brand and style of each item. I may call Dino back to complete some paver work needed next.

Dino came out on a Saturday morning to give us a quote. He really listens to what my concerns are and explains what he would do to fix the issues. His quote price is on par with another quote I got in September and significantly lower than other quotes I got in spring time. I decided to hire him for several reasons: 1. His quote is extremely detailed. It lasts three pages listing all items that are to be done in detail and pricing for each item. It makes me feel safer than just a bulk number quote. It also turned out to be practical too. For example, he quoted step stone quantities and specified spaced at 1 foot between each stone. I wanted it to be much more closely spaced as 4 inches apart but we didn't communicate this particular detail at initial discussion. I pointed out, he re quote this price and it prevented miscommunication when the stones are actually laid. 2. He did my neighbor's patio more than 10 years ago and it still looks perfect. 3. He is very considerate and has common sense. We need to put extra dirt around the house to fix the grading problem due to back fill settling. All my other quotes either charge me for getting dirt from somewhere else plus labor or ask me to hire other landscaper to do the job as they only handle paver work. I always wondered why they cannot use the dirt that is dug out for the new patio to fill the places that need extra dirt. Dino is the only one who told me that if I decided to do the new patio, he will regrade around the house for free using the extra dirt from the new patio. The actual work went very smoothly. Dino answered all my questions promptly and addressed my concerns accordingly. Majority of the work were done within a week with several people working at site each day. Overall, very good workmanship and I got good compliment from my neighbors. I hope the patios and walkways would stay nice over the time just as my neighbor's. He did offer a 5 year warranty in the contract.

We had a hard time finding a new deck that would fit our budget. We worked with Dino on pricing and also style of our deck. Dino helped with suggestions and also built a privacy/ decorative wall on one side of the deck exactly as I had seen in a picture. He also checked with us as the project was under way as to what we wanted specifically. He was attentive to the details of the deck, for instance, the type of wood, the length of the benches, the placement of the railings, etc. Dino was easy to talk to and listened to our concerns. His two crew members were professional, friendly and hard-working.

When I contacted the company the owner, Dino Mazzone, he was very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and willing to take the time to talk with me about my project goals. After I explained what I wanted, we made an appointment and he came out to take a look at my yard and listen to my desired project outcomes. I’m not a very creative person, and so asked Dino to help me visualize options that he would suggest from his 20+ years in the business. Dino took his time to listen, create, and revise his plan until it actually exceeded my expectations. He was more than willing to come back out to my house to show me drawings and samples of the products we discussed. Dino’s team is extremely friendly and considerate. The construction was completed very quickly and was even expedited to accommodate my wish to have it completed in time for a family party. His guys worked tirelessly to make me happy. The cost of the project was fair and the workmanship superb. In 2009 I called again to seal my patio. And now in 2013, I am contacting them again to build a second story deck and install a flagstone walkway in front of my house. When I called Dino’s references I was amazed at how highly people spoke of him and his work, his high level of repeat business, and sizable following he has built over the years. Overall I’d highly recommend this company.

Dino, the owner of the company, arrived for a view of our current deck and to create an estimate for the new. We had a lot of ideas, and he took all into account. He included many other decisions (treated wood or not, stained handrails, arbor, etc) we had not thought of and also seemed to know the village regulations very well. After getting our quote, it was fair, but we decided it was more than we wanted to spend. Multiple times Dino reworked our proposal to get us to our desired budget and also honor what we wanted in our new deck. The crew that worked on our deck was extremely professional. I was most surprised at the attention to every detail and the tedious work done to ensure each corner and each seam were flawless. Dino himself worked side by side with the crew and completed true wood work. Each edge was curved, hand rail was added to the stairs, railings are covered, gravel ground cover, etc; all simple changes that as non-deck specialist I wouldn't have asked for but make the finish product beautiful. We were crunched for time with a party planned close to when the deck was expected to be done. Dino and his crew put in long hours on a Saturday to ensure the deck was as complete and safe as possible for our party.
