Great experience, start to finish. The installation crew went above and beyond, both in squeezing into a crawl space to drill a hole for the basement furnace to vent through, and in working around the schedule of a roofing company that kept postponing last minute to drill a hole in the roof for the upstairs furnace to vent through.

Excellent! We reached out to four vendors for quote and selected Pro Temp of Illinois because of high level of professionalism displayed by their sales team, led by Jamie Maas. He was very informative on product options, service, and bottom line cost to us than any other vendor. Their price and warranty was also very competitive. Jamie even offered and handled all rebates from the utilities and the equipment vendor. Pro Temp really displayed outstanding level of professionalism at every level: pre-sales, installation, and post-sales support. The installation team were also very informative, explained the product and installation in every step, started and completed the work on schedule. We had a minor issue with the thermostat and the company was very responsive to help us to correct the issue. We recommend Pro Temp of Illinois all the way.

ProTemp did the impossible for me. I have been trying to find a vendor who could replace my ancient, obsolete Tappan combo unit; I interviewed 17 companies over 3 years (no lie). After a series of failures, no return calls, and one who flat out cancelled on me after I ordered the unit & set an install date, ProTemp saved me. Jamie (sales consultant) & Chris (lead installer) were terrific to work with. For what they had to do in seven hours (yeah, BIG job), it was a very fair price. No surprise charges, I was billed what I was estimated. They didn't try to talk me into UV lights or new ductwork, special filters, no, they were on time, professional, efficient, polite & even put down dropcloths to protect my flooring . This summer I will have functioning central air-conditioning for the first time in six years. For an asthmatic like me it's a miracle. Thank you so much for your excellent work. Service went extremely well! My installer came on time as expected and pleasantly parked the work van on the street as to not block access to my driveway. He arrived at the door and explained the job, how long it was expected to take and before I could request he remove his work boots he was already putting on slip covers over his shoes, perfect! If there's one thing I hate its workers tracking in dirt on my carpets, no problems here. I showed him the furnace where the work would be done and asked if he needed anything. He said he had everything and proceeded to gather the air cleaner, his own work light, extension cord and tools. Within 2 and half hours I heard the furnace kick on and the faint zapping sound of dust being collected in my new electronic air cleaner! Once complete he reviewed the operating procedure with me and went over how to care for and clean it. I inspected the new outlet he installed on the side of the furnace to supply the unit with power and all control wiring was ran neatly and concealed with tie-backs. I asked about warranty and he said to register the unit online with the manufacturer right away to qualify for the 10 year warranty. Overall I am 100% pleased with the outcome and am recommending Pro Temp services to friends, family and coworkers.

From the bid process to the installation and cleanup, Jamie and the installation crew were a pleasure to work with. Jamie spent time with me to evaluate the size system I needed. I had two other bids, and neither of them discussed the system size and alternative costs of each. Pro Temp's bid was the most attractive, as well. The crew was on time, very polite, and they did a great job cleaning up.

I had pro temp for an air conditioner last summer and a new furnance this year. They also installed a new furnance at my daughter's condo. I can't imagine using anyone else! The response to anything you need is immediate and professional. All my rebates were taken care of for me. The honesty when making decisions on products exceeds all expectations. Pro Temp installed a new Lennox furnace and thermostat for us. Jamie was exceptionally responsive and professional. He met with us the same day we called and had the new furnace installed the following day. After examining our 19th century home, he patiently explained our options and costs and gave us his recommendation. There was no high pressure sales pitch and the price was competitive with other estimates. The two gentlemen who performed the installation appeared to do an excellent job (per Village inspector) and were professional, immaculate, and helpful in explaining care of the furnace and and functioning of the new thermostat. Jamie followed up with us the following day to ensure that everything went smoothly and was working well, and he took care of submitting all of the various rebate forms on our behalf. We highly recommend them.

Jamie and the 3 installers were fantastic. The lead installer explained everything that needed to happen during the install. They were courteous and when they left you never would have known they were there as the entire area was cleaned. Amazing company and service. Would highly recommend them for your HVAC and related needs.

After getting about 6 estimates they had the best price, equipment and warranty. The sales rep Jamie was very knowledgeable and answered every single question I had. The installers were amazing, Chris and his assistant, very polite, did a great job and left my basement just as cleaned as I had it. They covered the carpet with tarps and when they had to walk somewhere else they would remove their shoes. I chose a variable speed furnace which raised the price a bit but they were the best compared to the others. Overall, great service.

Jamie, the sales representative, was very knowledgeable and clearly explained how the system worked and would improve the system that we had. The quote was competitive with other HVAC companies. We researched the Lennox products as well and were impressed with the reviews. The installers clearly knew what they were doing and the installation was seamless. These guys know the meaning of service that is lacking at most other outfits these days. On top of that they are problem solvers and work with you to find the best solution for your HVAC needs. I had a local Carrier dealer walk thru my home and I explained where some hot and cold rooms were....he told me I should buy a new house! Can you believe the nerve ? Jamie and his team thoughtfully evaluated my concerns, answered all of my questions and helped me pick the right equipment that solved my issues. Can't say enough about Pro-Temp...No better crew around !!

My entire experience with Pro Temp was very positive. The representative (Jamie) came out and gave not only an estimate, but a comprehensive review of several different options for my home. Jamie e-mailed me multiple estimates the same day. I was able to discuss the options with Jamie who was willing to work with me on putting together the best system that would meet the heating and AC needs of the house while still staying within my budget. Once I decided to use Pro Temp, the contract was sent through e-mail and they were able to install the system the following day. It was a significant amount of work to get everything installed, but the workers stayed until after 10 p.m. to complete the job. Both workers were very professional and friendly. I was provided a full tutorial of how the new system worked. Unfortunately the thermostat had a software issue and they had to come back and replace it. Luckily they were able to use my old one to run the furnace and heat the house. The new thermostat was installed (took 20 minutes) the following Monday, I was having a little trouble with the display and sent the rep a text message for help. He replied right away and it was an easy fix I was able to take care of myself. It is obvious that this company values the way they treat their clients and takes pride in their work. I would recommend to anyone looking to replace/service their HVAC.

Great! They came out in the morning and were done by lunch, with no problems. I have HEAT! Lennox cost half as much as Carrier for the same quality.
