Chris and his team were amazing, I can't say enough positive things about their quality of work, professionalism and responsiveness. Our garage floor looks great and we have already recommended Broadleaf to neighbors in our subdivision. We ended up being unhappy with one minor detail of the garage floor (completely our mistake, not Broadleaf's) and Chris did not hesitate to have his team come out to make a change so we were completely satisfied. Great company ... Chris is definitely a business owner that "gets it".

Everything went smoothly. The basement was very clean when they had finished. The job was completed in the estimated timeline the company quoted to me. When they were refinished, Broadleaf came back and hooked the washer and dryer back up. All the workers were professional. They took the time to thoroughly explain the process as they were doing the job.

Chris was prompt and knowledgeable. He explained the process and our options. The installers ground and shot blasted the floor to prep for the coatings. Their dust control equipment is so good I would have no concerns about them coating the floors in the house (which we may do). There was not a drop of product spilled or dripped where it wasn?t supposed to be. I don?t know what else good to say about Broadleaf but after a bad Chicago winter I am thrilled with my garage floor.

Chris - was very professional, courteous, and sought to provide the best customer service. Our job had a small area that we were not happy with but Chris was willing to redo the entire basement at a loss just to ensure our satisfaction with his product and company.

I found Broadleaf on Angie's list. I was impressed by the reviews and decided to have them come out to bid on my garage floor. We found the reviews and our experience with Chris and Broadleaf to be consistent - they were great and earned an A grade from us. We found Chris to be very courteous and professional. He provided a couple different ideas for my wife and I to think about. Once we decided to award them the work, the crew arrived on the date and time, as promised. The work spanned across 2 days. There was a little dust but they did a real nice job of cleaning up - no complaints at all! More importantly - the garage floor looks fantastic! It has been a month since they completed the work and we could not be happier with the work done by Broadleaf.

Installer did a great job. Very meticulous with the repair and preparation aspect of the job.

They showed up on time, finished on time, and charged me the amount they estimated. I am very happy with the result, it turned out great for about the same cost as hardwood flooring. However, it is much more durable.

I contacted Chris at Broadleaf in Summer of 2012 through the Angie's website link. Chris contacted me by telephone a day later and he was at my house for an estimate approximately 5 days later. Chris was on time and very professional and knowledgable. He explained thoroughly the process of applying an epoxy floor and provided me numerous color and texture samples for me to choose from. He explained to me why Broadleaf products were different and better than their competitors and the lifetime warranty that they provided. After some consultation, I chose a mini flake color for the garage (steps and footing included) and a standard color for the utility floor. My 361 sq foot garage with the mini flake was estmated at $1650 and the utitlity floor was estimated at $300. He provided me this estimate on the same day as the consultation. He advised me that the job could be started approximately 2 weeks after the contract and 50% deposit was received. I contacted Chris several days later to advise him that I would not be able to contract the service in 2012, but requested him to contact me in Spring 2013 to revisit the job. He agreed and told me he would put me on his list of customers to contact in 2013. In July 2013, I again contacted Chis and requested if he would honor the 2012 estimate. He stated that he would and I signed the contract and sent in the deposit. Chris gave me a tentative date of approximately 3 weeks out, but stated that he would be in contact with me as the start day got closer. The week that the job was going to start, I had a scheduling problem and asked Chris if he could start a day later. He made some arrangements with another customer, and then the job started as I requested. The job was a 2 day job and the two employees arrived on time each day. They were extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgable. They worked consistently and hard throughout both days, with basically no disruption to my home. During the job, I had requested that the apron of my garage be done also with epoxy. Chris told me no problem and did not charge me for the extra service. The garage floor and utiltiy room floor looks amazing and brand new! I feel like I have just incresed the curb appeal and value of my home with this small investment. Dealing with Broadleaf has been one of the best experiences I have ever had with any contractor. From start to finish, it was perfect. I highly recommend the product and service from Broadleaf.

We are doing a basement remodel and we knew we did not want carpet for the flooring. We were looking at concrete staining, tile or epoxy. We called Chris around May 2013 before we started our basement remodel and he came by to show us the different types of epoxy floors. We love the samples he showed us and the cost is cheaper than concrete staining or tile. Once we have a definite schedule from our contractor we called Chris back to finalize the contract and he was able to schedule us within the time frame we requested. This job was a 3 day process. The 1200 sq foot of floor was prepared on the first day. The cracks were repaired and the entire area was shot blasted to prepare the surface for coating. The base coat was applied on the first day. This process took the whole day. On the second day another layer of color was applied and this only took a couple of hours. The application of the second coat resulted in the antique leather look of the floor. A urethane was applied on the third day which only took a couple of hours. The whole process was smooth sailing from start to finish. We get complements on the floor. I would and have recommended Broadleaf to other people who needed epoxy flooring done.

I highly recommend Broadleaf and Chris Collopy. From start to finish, Chris exhibited professionalism, responsiveness, and a concern for customer satisfaction. He was very busy when I first contacted him, so it took several weeks to get a proposal and complete the work, but Chris alway responded the same or next day to any email inquiries. Customer service is a priority for Chris - he went to great lengths to correct a mixup in a timely fashion at no additional cost to me. The Broadleaf workmen were also very professional and cleaned up after the install. Thank you, Chris and Broadleaf, for the beautiful floor!

They did a great job. Chris was swamped when I first called him but we finally got together. He communicates very well by email not so much by phone. Once he came by with the samples i decided on a finish and a week later it was done. Looks great. It's a bit pricey to have this done but it's worth it. Really finishes off my new garage.

I was very pleased with the quality of the epoxy flooring job completed in my garage. That said, there was an 'expectation' issue on the entry line that I asked be tweaked, and Chris Collopy listened and moved quickly to make that final modification. I was very impressed with Chris' focus on customer satisfaction and for making my garage floor look beautiful !

The work was completed in two days and the floors were dry in three. They were easy to work with and they cleaned up after themselves and I love the floor . I would highly recommend their service. I used a coupon for this service and their were no issues with redeeming it.

I'm happy to recommend Broadleaf, they did a fantastic job on our garage floor, the workers were on time, professional, detail orientated, they worked as a team and did a beautiful job. They did not leave a mess, they cleaned up as they went, it was actually fun to see them work , they definitely know what they are doing. Is the floor going to hold up? time will tell but they gave us a 10 year warranty.

Great job! We could not be happier. Our garage floor was pitted, had small divots and small cracks. They patched it all and applied an epoxy flooring with flakes in it. It is shiny and beautiful, but not at all slippery. No sign of all the pits or cracks. The garage door was too high when finished because they took away the asphalt at that point. Chris explained how to readjust the garage door opener to fix it. We will do that later this weekend.

I couldn't have been a better experience. They came out to do the estimate in the early evening so that I didn't have to take time off of work. They scheduled me in as soon as the weather was warm enough, and they completed the work in two days as promised. My garage floor was poured in 1968 and was dirty, spalling, and had a large crack. They cleaned it up, repaired the crack, and applied the finish in a nice even layer. The floor turned out exactly as I had hoped. They even called me back to ensure that the job was done to my satisfaction!

We are very happy with our basement floor. Chris came out to give us an estimate awhile back and we finally decided to get the concrete repaired and refurbished with a new stain and polish. His crew was prompt, clean and did a quality job. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

Broadleaf is absolutely the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALNG WITH, and i have dealt with many. Chris (the owner) & the 3 who performed the work were terrible. They covered every single thing in my basement with a thick layer of filthy cement dust which I am still trying to clean up 2 months later, even though I specifically asked him beforehand if dust would be a problem. The owner told me that it wouldn't....It wouldn't be a problem - FOR HIM - is what he meant. It has cost me many hours of cleaning for what should have been easily preventable. The workers also BROKE THE STAIRCASE in my basement which they did not bother to tell me or report to the owner. I had to call & complain about it and they were not very good about getting it fixed. The 3 workers also LEFT GARBABE from their coffees & lunches for me to clean up several times over the 4 days they were at my house working. I sincerely regret doing business with Broadleaf. Stay away from this company....I wish I had.

The owner, Chris Collopy, from the start was highly conscientious, courteous, and patient with our many questions and concerns about the epoxy flooring process, product, and quality. He explained in detail the process and was happy to be called any time throughout our work with him. Though we changed our minds about which design/color to use almost right up until the work began, he was flexible and supportive. His team was considerate, prompt, and courteous. When they left each day, the area was tidy and we knew exactly what was going on and when we could walk on the floor - first just us, then park the cars. Not only were they English-speaking but also very knowledgeable about the process and product. We were really grateful for that. They made sure to prep the floor as best as possible despite the many pits, crevices, etc. that had developed over decades of use, salt wear, etc. There were even a few complete chunks of cracked off concrete in the corners that they were able to fix, and now no one can imagine how it was possible to transform our old garage floor into the beautiful, smooth, new surface it now has. Our sincerest thanks to Chris for starting a company that's honest, reliable, and has a terrific quality product and service. We've confidently recommended Broadleaf and Chris to everyone we know.

Looks great! Many colors to choose from. I'm just not sure I got the best price nor if I got a discount for the additional work (phase 2, the basement). We chose a light gey with dark specks and the garage shows the winter dirt but all you have to do is mop it once spring comes. Also, the basement floor (also in grey) shows dust easily. Overall, very nice and I highly recommend.

Chris did a great job with my floor. He explained it well and was not pushy at all. He even came back twice to look at few things I had questions about. I would not go with anyone else. Two years later, it still looks great.

Very Very Well. Better than I expected!!!

We wanted to replace the tile on our basement floor with an epoxy floor with a slightly stippled finish. Chris at Broadleaf was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the options and showing us examples. He even met us off-site to look at a floor with some characteristics we wanted to emulate. He made two sets of samples for us, one for color, another for texture. He was up-beat, professional and very communicative, calling us as much as we called him. 637The installers were great too. Friendly and fast. The whole thing was done in 2 days ? one to prepare the surface, the other to lay the epoxy. The floor looks fantastic, the price was better than the other two estimates we got, and it was the best construction experience we've had yet.
