Rick is very professional, helpful, and flexible. He did a great job with getting the door removed along with the frame and the new door installed quickly. Looks great. The minor drywall we needed done next to the door makes it look so much better.

The mantle looks great. It adds more detail to the fireplace. It was installed and painted in a few hours.

Robert and his crew, Roman and Rick demoed old tile around my bathtub and then retiled with subway tile up to the ceiling around the tub along with replacing the tub faucet and showerhead. He was one of 5 companies I got estimates from and he fell right into the middle road for cost of the job. We ultimately chose Silver Hammer because of how thorough Robert was in his estimate as well as his obvious amount of knowledge he demonstrated when he arrived at my home to go over what we wanted done. They were not only professional courteous and on time they were very thorough in explaning how each step worked following through with top notch tiling, clean up and professionalism. As with all demo/rehab jobs unexpected things happen, but the scope of a true professional is how it is handled. During the demo phase, beyond anyone's control, a tile piece fell and guaged a hole in the tub. Robert immediately explained what happened and he paid for an entire tub reglazing immediately following the wrap up of our job. My husband and I were very impressed with his professionalism during the whole project. We would defintely recommend Silver Hammer Construction.

The quality of work was excellent and I couldn't be happier. All the fixes were done really well to my satisfaction. The contractors know what they are doing and they did the work quickly as well. They are also very helpful and ensures that the work gets done right. I already have another project for them to do! All aspects of the work was done very efficiently and in a timely manner. Robert was very professional and perfect in his work. His prices were unbeatable and quality of work was great. In fact, the work was so good that I have already discussed some more repairs to be done in our house, which he will be doing next week. Having seen his work and his knowledge of all aspects of what a home repair work needs, I will not need to look for anyone else to do any of our repair work at our house.

Responded quickly and made appt for review of jobs needed. Time for project scheduled within 3 week which was within my time frame. Only hiccup is that they were late starting on the scheduled day/time and had to come back the next day. However, the work was done and done very well. Robert offered options and solutions for fixing several problems which is what I was looking for. They cleaned up after themselves and took away the garbage. Everything looks great. Extremely happy with the results.

We were preparing our house to list as a rental. We had a number of small jobs and some bigger projects to complete in a short time so we could find a tenant as soon as possible. Robert and his team put in long hours of painting so we could have photos done for the listing. From there, they tackled the other projects with our short timeline in mind. Everyone who worked on the house was friendly and professional. They all did solid work. When issues came up (our basement walls were original paneling which was difficult to cover with just two coats) they tried different approaches until everyone was satisfied with the outcome. Robert is a great guy, fun to talk with and he and his crew do great work at a reasonable price. The final project was last-minute, but made a huge difference. He did the floors in just a couple days, and they look great. We were able to show the house quickly, and it was rented within a week.

Silver Hammer was prompt. The gentleman who came was very professional and thorough in his work. I like how he had his own dryer so I could tell what the finished product looked like before he left.

Went as smooth as it could have. Robert tested a light fixture and found it needed to be replaced. I also needed a faucet replaced that had a leaking handle. I let it go too long and the faucet lever was so corroded that I ended up buying a new pedestal sink. Robert and his partner came back the next day and installed it. He was on time and very cordial to deal with.

Very poor responsiveness and reliability of scheduling. I left 3 messages over 8 days before receiving a callback. I understand that this is their busy season. I noted this in my phone messages and conversation with provider, and also noted that I could be both flexible with scheduling, and would be comfortable being scheduled a way into the future, but that I was eager to hear back from them to verify that I was on their radar, and get dates scheduled for estimate and work - even if those dates were out a bit. When I did receive this callback on Mon/6/29, the provider arranged an appointment for the afternoon of Wednesday 7/1 to come by and take a look at my issue - seeping from roof and water damage repair, and provide estimate. Provider did not show up for the 7/1 estimate appointment. No contact beforehand to notify me of inability to come by and reschedule. No contact after to apologize for missing the appointment. I have not heard anything from provider since 6/29.

Robert was awesome. I needed the job done quickly, as I suddenly was required to have this job done prior to closing on the condo. They timed it perfectly around the weather and did a great job.

Great experience. Everything ran smooth. Came over to check out work, had bid to me that evening. Scheduled work for Saturday. Arrived on time and worked till he was through. Answered questions thoughtfully. Robert doubled checked everything. The fee I paid included all materials as well as the light fixture. Labor guaranteed for a year. FYI another service quoted over $600 for the same job materials not included.

Robert was very diligent, professional, and courteous. His work was done quickly and his quality exceeded expectations. I will use him again when any construction need arises.

It went well. As with anything we had delays, mainly due to delivery of fireplace materials which had nothing to do with Rob and Silver Hammer. He was patient. His main man Roman is a complete genius! I adore my fireplace. My room exceeds my expectations!!! Pinterest worthy!

The work itself was done in two and half days. The staff were fine. The price and quality are what makes them stand out.

Provider sent me an e-mail on 4/21 stating he would be out Friday morning 4/24 to review requested job. I confirmed via e-mail on 4/21 telling him that was fine asking him to let me know the time he would arrive. Hearing nothing back, I left a voice mail on his phone Thursday night, 4/23, again confirming and asking the time he would be by the next morning. He was a no call and no show on Friday and I was home all day.

100% satisfied with every last detail.

The owner did the job and he was very prompt. The price was really good and he did good work. He got the job done in half a day.

Robert and his team were excellent. We were a long drive from his office but he still was happy to come out for the estimate and complete the job once hired. He stood by his prices as quoted and we were very happy with the work. Robert provides great customer service and we would use him again and recommend him to anyone with handyman needs.

Robert did a fabulous job and promptly completed the repairs. He was insightful and was a pleasure to work with him. Would highly recommend him and will be using his firm for future repair needs. He provides service with a flair.

Good at first, but when I called back after so called completion to report cracking in caulk and moisture in window, he never called back to fix problem or check on problem.

Responded quickly to my initial contact via Angie's List and came to my home that day to discuss the job. However it has been a couple of weeks now and I never received an estimate or even a call back.
