It was completed in a few hours. Both men were very pleasant and hard working. They removed all the old fencing and replaced with new western red cedar fencing leaving the yard in perfect shape. I plan on using them again in the near future having more fence repaired and adding additional fencing. I would recommend them for their great service.

they quickly returned my phone call and came out the next day for an estimate. They then came out as soon as they could to do the work. As it was a very rainny week it took a little better than a week for them to get to it. The preformed the work quickly and left my yard in a better conditon than when they came.

Each time they did a great job with my aging fence. The posts are not dug down as deep as the originals, but they are certainly more than enough to hold the fence. The last time I had spare lumber from the original fence construction and they used it to reinforce a section. They helped my extend the life of my fence for approximately 4 years. I would highly recommend them.

The crew from PFR gave us a reasonable quote and did a great job on replacing the damaged parts and salvaging parts of the fence that were still decent. They were very easy to work with and professionally got the work done. It was a very positive experience.

It only took one day for them to give an estimate of work and about 1 1/2 weeks for them to schedule the job. They were very professional and did everything they agreed to. I would definitely have them out again if the fence needs additional repairs.

I emailed them from the link on Angie's List and he showed up a few days later to look at the job. Julie showed up a couple of days later to locate the utilities, and then they did the work. All done within 10 days of my original email. The posts look great and they also fixed some minor problems with some of the panels. Unlike the other jobs, they left some hunks of concrete laying in the lawn. But not a big deal- took me a few minutes to clean up. I think most of the posts have been replaced now- but when another goes, I willing be calling them back.

I left a message and they called me later that day. I was told they would come out in the next day or two to give me an estimate. Jim came out on the second day and gave me the information. Both he and his wife were very nice.The work was done on May 16,2012. It took about an hour. The crew cleaned up the area and took the old posts and broken pickets with them. They really were very professional.

The contractor, PROFESSIONAL FENCE REPAIR, returned my initial call for an estimate within 24 hours. Scheduled a visit for the quote and was on-time and prompt. The job was not a large one so they were honest in letting me know it would be a couple of weeks before they could do the work. They kept their commitment. They called and coordinated with J.U.L.I.E. as well. The two workers who came out to do the work were great. Paid attention to details, answered my questions, and cleaned up the jobsite. I highly recommend PROFESSIONAL FENCE REPAIR. I will use them again if I need fence repairs. Great Job!

On New Years day- a Monday- four fence panels and three broken posts blew over in a strong wind. I called Professional Fence Repair on Wednesday, the owner was out on Thursday to give a quote. I accepted the bid that day, and he informed me that depending on JULIE being able to come out and give the all-clear for the work, he would likely be able to get a crew out the following Tuesday or so... I was quite surprised then to find a crew already at work the very next morning; JULIE had come already (the vicinity of the break was in an area with no lines nearby, so it was a quick visit), and Pro. Fence had an opening in their schedule, and got to work. Unfortunately, as we weren't expecting them until the following week, I called to the office and explained that I could not remit payment immediately. They were fine with that, and simply left me an invoice, which was paid three days later. The job was completed in about four hours, the work was very good, and the site was left as clean as we could've hoped for. As my fence is getting on in years, we WILL use this company again, and I will recommend them without reservation.

They were suppose to bring concrete over dirt line. Because the post will rot. They only put a foot of concrete. They left a couple feet without concrete. I asked him how many feet they used and he said 30 and the guideline is 42". They were not planning on doing anyt of the work I asked them to do. They didn't do anything that acquired by the association. It took them 4 weeks to come and it was an emergency job. I had to constantly stay on them.

First, it was very difficult to get anyone to repair a fence. I called two other fence companies. One came out but never provided an estimate, even though I called them three times and each time, the owner of the company said he would call me with the estimate in 15 min. If you don't want the business, have the courage to tell a customer rather then lead them along. So I was pleasantly surprised when I reached this company. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and informative. She was able to answer most of my questions and then set up a call with the owner. Several bad experiences with repair firms have taught me to ask questions about what exactly is included in their repair. Jim assured me that his bid was inclusive of all that was necessary to do the job and if it wasn't, I wouldn't pay for it. Jim came out with the crew to make sure they did the got right, but the crew was very good. They reused materials that were still good and replaced the sections that were not. Their price was lower than any of the fence installation companies quoted, at lease the ones that actually replied. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would not hesitate to call them again or refer them to someone else.

A storm blew over three sections of privacy fence, breaking four rotted posts off at the ground. I called three fence contractors; Professional Fence Repair was the only one that returned my call. Jim came out a few days later and gave us a quote. (Actually, they quoted $150 per post over the phone.) They said they would schedule the work within the next two weeks. Then a crazy cold, snowy period began. I had just about resigned myself to living with the fence down until Spring. But then they showed up, just as they promised, and replaced the posts. They used great looking cedar posts with caps that matched the other posts. When I need to replace the next posts, I'll be calling these guys back!

The company responded quickly, provided a fair estimate, and completed the work quickly. Will contact them again with any future fence issues.

Professional Fence was one of three companies I called for this small job; Although two called back and promised to come bid the job (Brothers Fencing in Villa Park and Professional Fencing in Warrenville), Professional Fencing is the only one that actually showed up and bid on the job. I agreed to their bid on 4/27. Although they measured the gate sizes correctly, they "outsource" their gates and the gates were delivered twice to them (not me) with incorrect measurements. Bottom line is they pushed installation back twice. They finally received gates they could install in late June. The guys that installed the gates definitely wanted to get it "right" so they broke up concrete to make the gates work properly. Everyone I talked to was polite and helpful, the work was done correctly and I got a "fair" price. I would recommend Professional Fencing very highly.

I called for an estimate on 6/12 and was told someone would be out in a few days to inspect the fence and possibly leave an estimate at that time, otherwise they would mail me an estimate. After 10 days of hearing nothing I called and left another message. No one called me back but a few days later I received an estimate in the mail that was very high compared to what other people on Angie's List had paid. If they didn't want to repair my fence they should have just told me.

Nice job! They removed a bad post, and replaced it. The replacement post is better quality than the other posts in my fence. They worked quick, and compared to handymen they had an excellent price. They are worth it!

Very friendly and professional company. Sealed posts per my request and crowned concrete above grade. Called day before coming (showed up in three days). Work done quickly and neatly. Jim (owner) and helper cleaned up yard perfectly. Came back upon request to fine tune the gate closure. Would recommend this firm without hesitation.

Jim Harris and his workers were friendly, efficient and accommodating. We first contracted Professional Fence in spring 2006. At that time, we were concerned about potential damage to the raspberry and gooseberry shrubs. Professional Fence agreed to replace 8 of the fence posts in the spring, and then returned to replace 2 posts, surrounded by the fruit shrubbery, in the fall. Now in spring 2007, a final post was replaced. All posts were replaced at the $140 per post price. At our request, Professional Fence adjusted the 2 gates, at no additional charge. At our request, the bottoms of the fence posts were sealed with Thompson s Water Seal (we were informed that tar is disallowed by government oversight). Jim Harris also matched our existing fence post caps when capping the new posts. This made us happy.
