TruGreen Lawn Care - 5550

Things went fine, the grass looks green and i am satisfied with their service. They come every month. It is 200 dollars a year. They have good quality work.

They did a great job....on time....polite service tech.

cancellation #. I said can you email it to me since you have my email address on file? She said no because I can give it to you at the end of this phone call. Bad overall customer service. Will never use them again. Beware.

I called TruGreen THREE different times requesting them to come out and evaluate my lawn. We just moved into a new house and have sections of sod, sections of seed, sections of weed, etc. I was promised that I would receive a return phone call within 24 hours each time. I have not had any return phone calls. Seriously, I am in awe of the lack of customer service by each individual I talked to.

I am still awaiting resolution. If TruGreen provides me special treatment and restores their damage, I will hire them back. They care for my business' lawns, and they have done a great job there. They are capable of excellent work. But they failed my residential lawn and do not seem interested in seeing what they've done. I do not currently have a contract with them, and will not agree to any additional payment to them until such time as they fix the BIG problems they created.

I have used the services of TruGreen. They sounded good. We probably thought that it was a good price. I ended up cancelling them after one use. I was paid for the year. I ended up cancelling it though. I cancelled it because of poor scheduling. It may be resolved now but they had issues with scheduling. They would do treatment and then wouldn't show up. They had some problems with their computers which is fine. It is just a pain to manage. The other thing that I would note now is that I can't get them to leave me alone. They called me at about 7 o'clock. They were like we were in the office and I am like I am not so make it quick. I was like don't call me and I still get emails from time to time. I don't think I haven't got a call from ever since then. I don't get calls but I get emails. Once you are in there, looks like you are never going to get out. They called and pester you. As far as I dealt with them everybody was very nice. I will not use their service again.

They came door to door soliciting business and I have used their services for my yard. They had a deal that I paid for and they had several visits to come and check. For each of their services they charged like $35 to $40 and they gave me a 10% discount for prepaying. They were professional. Every time that they came, they left a little card saying what had to be done like for instance, if it had to be watered and they left a little receipt with recommendations. I had a few issues with them because I did have a dog and they did not ring the doorbell and the backyard sometimes does not get done. But other than that, they would come as scheduled and do the job. Their price is reasonable. Some of the technicians who came were good. They would ring the doorbell and make sure that they would come on the time that they said. If I call them, they are pretty good and would call back.

This year their services were much better than in past years. I am a 30+ year customer but was considering switching because of poor performance 2-3 years ago. This was caused by some problems with an irresponsible field staffer. Though the treatments went better this year, we ran into some issues with scheduling. They called to let us know they would be treating the lawn the next day, but we needed for them to delay a couple weeks to work around some other landscaping we were having done. We agreed on a new day, but they did not show up. Then we called and arranged for a new date. They showed up on an earlier date from what was agreed, and we had to send them away. We called and revised the date and went through the same sequence. Finally the third time they got it right.

I'm in an automatic payment with them. One thing I like is that they always call before they come to tell me that they are coming that week and then because we have a dog which actually doesn't play into it anymore but when we used to get the backyard done, they would call like right before they were coming so we could make sure the dogs are in. The other thing that really struck me was we decided to just go with the front yard and so they re-quoted us and it was significantly less but they were willing to do that and I know a lot of people would not be willing to do that. We've been in the house for 10 years, I think my ex-husband used them more than that but I'd say it's been 10 years. They are extremely nice, if you call there and want to ask about anything like you want to change the date of it or whatever reason or if they change the date, they would call you and they don't just show off another day. There was something else, I don't remember but on the phone they are extremely personable. The thing I like from them too is that they are just not pushy, if you don't want to have a service done and they think it's a good idea. You just tell them, 'No, I don't want that.' and they go, 'Okay.' None pushiness is extremely important.

They were okay and did a good job. I don't have to worry about weed in my lawn.

Pre-paid in May and as of July, they had not been to my house once. After complaining, "they could not figure out how i was not on the schedule". They came and did an application during a massive downpour, which was worthless. They claim the grub treatment needs water, but apparently it makes the weed killer not work. I have several issues with the quality and service, and when i asked for a refund, I was told they wanted an opportunity to "make it right". They came back out, and now in September, I still have a clover problem. I paid for 5 treatments, and I have received 2. Do they plan on treating my snow? Their customer service even told me I was "misinformed" (mis-led?) by the sales person. My grass was not any more green than other years, and my weeds were no less of an issue. I highly recommend avoiding this company.

What I like about them is they will come out and tailor a plan to fit my needs. They may say they will give me five treatments for so much money. My problem was I could not afford all that so they actually tailored it down to what my financial needs were taking into consideration what also would be beneficial for our lawn care. Also, I had a grub treatment and then saw some Japanese Beetles all over. They are the things which lay the eggs to make the grubs. So they came back out to look at it again. They are going to come back out to do another treatment. I used them about five years ago and stopped using them, but recently started up with them again. The reason I started back up with them again was that we were just using our regular landscaper to do our yard maintenance. I had a Creeping Charlie all over my yard so the landscaper was not doing a very good job so TruGreen came out and within a month it was all gone. If I don't get the results I want they will come back out and look at it again and give me another treatment for free.

I had used Tru Green previously for aeration but had no intention of using them again this year due to a recent change in my financial situation. In May of this year the local branch of the company called my work number to inform me of pending service, then subsequently executed a lawn treatment which I did NOT authorize, all when I was on vacation. When I called upon my return several days later to enquire about the unauthorized service, I was assured that someone would call me to discuss the issue. I was never called. When I went online to express my unhappiness with the unauthorized service and lack of follow-up, I again did not receive a response. When I was set a survey about my experience I was assured on completion that, based on my responses, someone would contact me. Again, no response. Despite the company?s complete apathy I began to pay off the bill in increments each month ? whatever I could afford when money was available. Regardless of my efforts and a paltry $48 remaining balance, the company sent me to a collection agency. Tru Green is unscrupulous and does not deserve your business.

They come every month. It's been so far so good. They come on time and do what they are supposed to do.

They did very well. They just do a good job. I hired them so long I can't even remember why I hired them but they've been doing a job for all these years.

Customer Service is awful. They make promises to do things and then do not follow through with the actions. For example, despite repeated calls from us regarding weeds and bald spots in our lawn, they did not do what they promised and send out a technician to take samples to determine the cause of the brown spots. We have had ongoing treatment for years and regardless of this our lawn is full of weeds and has numerous brown and bald spots. It reached the point where they will not even return my husband's calls, since their technician showed up in June at 7:50 am, left a note in our door and did not address any of our issues. On the prior visit he was supposed to take the samples and knew nothing about that discussion between us and customer service.. We have terminated our dealings with them.

I got them setup to come out which they never showed without any phone calls. I paid them and they took the money out. They didn’t provide a price 3 times in a row when they said they would but otherwise I’ve cancelled it. Apparently, 3 days ago, my wife told me that they took the money out again. So I have to call them back. They didn’t even come and took the money out again without asking.

I like that they are convenient and don't have to chase them down. I don't like that I do have to chase them down because I have to call them and have them come back out because there is more to be done.

If i have questions, he returns phone calls. He is very informative. I have an acelia shrub and it was turning yellow and it started turning yellow. i called him and he told be how to fix it.

With Trugreen, they actually matched the price that I had received from the other company for lawn care. Since Trugreen is the company that most of my neighbors used, so that's why I went through Trugreen. But, they actually quoted me 1 year price for the application that was a little expensive compared with the other company. I told them that and they happily matched the price. I believe they offered the fall areation free with that too. I am pretty happy with them. There was a little issue that I had with the price initially and that was not recorded in the system so I had to call back like at least two times and speak to the local office here. Finally, they did adjust that price because I did not want to end up paying what was not quoted to me but they did fix that.

Very good service. The lawn looks great. The serviceman is very experienced and a long-time Trugreen employee.

When they come out, they go ahead and start the work and do it. They did something on my door and they mow the grass. The person is very friendly and they answer my questions. I can also call the company if I have some questions and the people on the phone are very knowledgeable.

They gave me a time frame of "afternoon" so I sat around all afternoon and finally called them at 4:45 to see where they were at. The person who answered the phone tried to reach the technician but was unable to reach him. Said she'd call me right back - never did. When I called the next day to find out what was going on I was told the area manager would come to see me the next day. He would call first. Never called.

I called TruGreen for a lawn care package and paid for the full year up front. The sales rep said that the scheduling department would call me within 48 hours to schedule an appointment. I told him that I worked and have a dog, so I would need a Saturday appointment. He said that would be no problem. Four days went by and I did not receive a call to set up an appointment, so I called back and the person said that for some reason the system was not accepting appointments, but that for sure someone would call me back that evening or the next day at the latest. Three more days went by and no call back. I called again and was told that the scheduling people were very busy and would call me when they had time and furthermore, they could not say for sure if I could have service on Saturdays (the team usually arrives when their route takes them in my area). I was not happy and asked to speak to a manager. I was then told that they had no mechanism for transferring a problem to a manager, but they would send an email to him/her and they would call me back in a couple of days! This is awful! Of course, more days have passed and I have received no calls. I have received no service and cannot even get a call from these people. I do not trust them with my business and have stopped all payments to them. Honestly, there are really good family owned business working so hard to get business and providing good service to keep it, why in world would anyone want to work with this clueless, soulless, uncaring corporation, especially when they make it very clear they do not give a hoot about you. Do yourself a favor - avoid these people and support a hardworking local business.

After having explained numerous times I wanted the same identical treatment to this property as others, I was informed this is no longer possible...this after spending hours on the phone with various representatives from every state but mine. I had been a pre-paying customer with multiple accounts for many years, but this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
