TruGreen Lawn Care - 5550

The grass is growing so well, no more fungus and infestation like we use to before .

They are excellent. Very good. Their follow up was very good.

Called, they took my credit card for a winter fertilization then proceeded to not show up. Called again and they said I wasn't in the system. They called me back 15 minutes later and apologized saying I was in the system but they never set me up. They already ran my credit card and then said they cannot winterize because it is too late. Receptionist was horrible and kept making excuses, I wouldn't use them if they did it for free.

They have cut our grass for the last 8 years and I will continue to use them, They always do a great job.

The have kind of a program.? I don't know when they are coming.? They've come a couple of times, 5-6 times.? I'm not really tracking when they came. They came a did something but I had a lot of weeds and? my grass got kind of yellowish. I don't know what they have done.? I can't track everything that they are doing but they came there and did something.? I think they came on time but I wasn't never home, it was on weekdays.? I don't think they are doing a good job.

I get them 5 times per year. It's $56 each visit.? It's fantastic.? My lawn was not the best.? I worked on it for 10 years and was raising nothing but clover.? I told them, "if you can get rid of? the clover, I'll give you the contract".? They got rid of the clover after 3 quick visits. My friend was just here a couple of days ago and commented on how beautiful the lawn is and I told him, I said, yeah I told TruGreen, "if you can get rid of the clover you got the contract".? It's like a golf course.? It's beautiful.? They did a great job.? For $56, you know you can't even buy the stuff.? I used to buy it.? Then all the work. I got a half acre.? It just doesn't pay to do it yourself.? It didn't look as good.? I give them an A across the board.? Absolutely, I would use them again.? My neighbor used them so that's what made me decide to use them.? My yard and my neighbor's yard look the same because TruGreen's doing it.

They did weed removal & trimmed the lawn. They were pretty good.

The lawn is usually $72 a quarter. They're not the best price but they're not the worse. I am very pleased with them.

They will be out here this month and next month, and so on. They do great work and I’m happy with them. It cost about $75 to $85. They're all about the same.

They were excellent. I pay for the entire thing. The A grades are for everything they have done for me.

They come out once a month, or two months, not in the winter time. Spring, summer, and fall. I think they do a great job. They kill the weeds. I never talk to anybody. They come and go. They leave a thing on the door. They make a phone call that they are going to come. Keep no locks on the gates, so they can get in. There is no problem there. I have never compared to anyone else. I had the weeds, and they came to treat them. They got rid of the weeds. I have never asked them a question. They just come and go. They are there on time. They call the day before, and they always do. Punctuality is not important, you don't have to be there. They just have to get into your yard. One time I said hello, as far as talking about the work, we haven't.

They come out 4 times a year. They are pretty regular. They call you a day before the service. They should keep better records.

We have been using them every year for the last 4-5 years. They come 5- 6 times a year. They usually start in April or May for the first treatment and they come roughly once a month and then they come September and apply the final pre-winter treatment. They are very punctual and they give advance notice when they are coming. They give detailed information on what you can do to prevent or improves this or that. They complete package for the year is about $300-$400 which I think is steep.

They have been fine. I saw a better result of my lawn as far as getting rid of weeds. I do not know if they are doing a bad job at that, but I just wish it was better. I pay $500 for the whole year of service to come out a couple of months. The pricing is fine.

Made no real discernible difference. Also, didn't appreciate their pest control guy coming through my yard without notice and then repeatedly calling about the need for his services. High pressure sales preaching gloom and doom of bugs. Will not sign up next year. If your lawn is dying invest in a sprinkler system.

I have had them since 2008, for quite a while. After talking to them I am going to cut it down to 6 treatments. I was unhappy so they cut down the cost and gave me one free treatment,.

.I was at the point that I wanted to re sod my lawn, every season there were dead areas in the lawn. I don't know exactly what these guys do as I'm not at home when they come......but this last season I had a perfectly green lawn. Needless to say I re-upped for their service for next year as well.

I'll would use them again in the future.

they have always been reliable, and they come out and treat the lawn again for weeds if the problem continues. We have been satisfied with their services for the past few years.

I filed a detail claim and was told it was not a claim and they are selfinsured and it was not a claim I called corporate and was called by Bill Peterson who said they were referring it to corporate but nothing in two weeks no return calls with status or who in corporate was handling it. I filed a complaint with the IL Board of Insurance as I was lied to and still getting nowhere with weather leaving ability to make repairs next will be filing legal suit. Do not use them for anything especially tree and scrub treatment.

I had to have them out for service calls a couple of times where I was not satisfied with the weed control, but we have had a real dry summer and I think that was kind of a given that it would not be quite as good as it was. They were very prompt when it came out to the service calls and that is always a no charge. The workers were fine.

They were in and out in 15 to 20 minutes. Weeds started to die in about a week and the grass has started to grow back. Some backstory: when my wife and I bought this house in April 2015, the front and back yard was FULL of weeds. I figured it would be simpler to just kill the whole yard and start again. This resulted in 75% of the yard dying, being aerated, and reseeded. There were still a few weeds here and there, but I killed most of the lawn. After all of that, I hired Trugreen to fertilize and apply pest control and it's starting to work. On a side note, I let the grass grow for about 2 weeks before cutting... my lawnmower almost couldn't handle it. The grass is coming back so thick :)

I think that TruGreen is fair. I'm not to pleased with them. A couple of weeks ago the lawn guy was here and I showed him crabgrass, I still have crabgrass. The lawn is about $45 a month and the tree and shrubs is $95. Trees and shrubs comes out about once a month. I use them every year.

When I went out and I starteded using them in 2014 and the service was great. The crews would come to the door and explain what they were doing and afterwards they would let me know if any other treatments were necessary. They contacted and us in January(approx.)and wanted to know if we were going to sign up for 2015. We paid approx. $509.00 up front for the year. For 2015, they have new crews that do our service. They arrive and do the service without letting us know. One treatment was supposed to be for yard bug and insect control. When I went out and talked to him, he said he was during fertilizing. We also paid in 2014 for 5 shrub treatments. They did two in 2014 and carried over 3 to 2015.Paperwork is confusing. One time we have 50 feet of lawn and later we have 5500 feet. My plat of survey says I have a 10,000 feet lot. 2015 hasn't been a good year for their service. I may use them again on an as needed basis. I will not pay up front again.

I emailed for an estimate on their website form. Never received a call or email in return. Over 2 weeks ago.
