TruGreen Lawn Care services our home annually for lawn care maintenance. They fertilize our lawn and come out every three months for services. We have had a good experience with this company and feel the price is also good.

They do a really good job. They show up on time to their appointments. I don't have any particular complaint, but they do call at some unusual times during the day ( ex: around dinner time).

Received too many calls about using their service for lawn fertilization!

Their quality has been good and their service is good. We received a new customer discount for a few months. We referred our neighbors to them (after they said "We want our lawn to look like YOUR lawn!") and received another discount.

I would say that they are a little expensive and I use them as I don’t want to do all the chemicals myself. I would say that they are expensive, not very helpful from a professional point. They come 6:30 in the morning; they do their job and are gone in 15 minutes. I can never talk to them and twice when I spoke to them, they asked me to call the office. They guys that they are sending out to the field are not helpful or communicative to you. Their products are good.

Overall, the experience has been good. They give you an approximate time as to when they’ll come out, giving a 1-2 week time window. Once they do the work, they just put signs up in our yard, so if we’re not home, that’s the only way we know they were here.

They sprayed the two procedures that they were scheduled to do. They were to spray for Creeping Charlie and Weeds.. In September I had to stop the service because the weeds were getting bigger. I called the manager..he never called to meet with me. They still called me to do other processes even though I cancelled the service. They never got the billing right and one problem after another..

They were going door to door when I first moved in here and the yard needed some work; so I agreed to do it.

I've used them for 7 years. It seems to work pretty well and keeps the weeds from popping up. They do a good job. They inform me pretty well and they are pretty friendly. The service seems to be decent. They do a pretty good job but they call several times a month to do extra stuff, which is the annoying part. They keep trying to sell me more products than I signed up for. I don't have a very big lawn so it doesn't take them very long to do it. They come 8 times a year and I'm only here 1 or 2 times when they come. I've had a hard time getting hold of them a couple of times. They treat me decent when they come. I will probably use them next year.

They come out for roots feeding and weed control. I have used them for several years. If there are any weeds that may pop up, they will come out to apply a second application.

They are wonderful. They follow up on everything. They call before they come out. I have been using them for years. They charge $700 a year. They are very good. If there is a need of another application then they would do it for free. If weeds come back they would do it again without any cost. They are extremely ethical. They communicate with me all the time and I have been using them for twelve years. The people are personally friendly. Their price for me is pretty good.

I used their services for one years. They were always pretty quick to respond. I am happy with their services.

The previous summer, half my lawn was infested with grubs and need to be reseeded. So when TruGreen called with a promotional special and indicated that their grub treatment was "guaranteed" I signed up. In August I started to notice that those areas were browning out again, in spite of my watering, and I assumed that the grass just hadn't rooted to the extent necessary to withstand the heat. Of course all this time, I am getting phone soliciations for aeration and suggestions from the technician that my shrubs could use treatment as well. When I started to rake up the dead grass in early September to reseed yet again, I noticed grubs. When I called to complain, they said they would send a technician out to assess. The technician did not dispute this, applied grub control, and threw down handfuls of seed on top of the dead grass, no topsoil, no peatmoss, nothing. When I called to complain, they said that they would send a manager out and get their repair crew over. When I called again two weeks later (I cut them some slack with all the rain), I got the same response. Not long after we received a voicemail indicating that someone would be coming, however that turned out to be the "fall treatment". Only when I received an email survey on my service issue and gave them an unsatisfactory rating, did someone come at all (this is late October now) to put some seed and topsoil on some of the spots. Given all the fall rain, more of the original seed sprouted than I would have expected, but of course its a different kind of grass than the rest of the lawn. So, I called again to cancel my service (since "your service will continue year after year, until you notify us to discontinue") and yet again was told "we want to make this right", we'll send someone back out. I said no thanks.

So far my grass looks beautiful, and they do a great job!

Still have bermuda grass that they claimed early in the year that they could control. Now they claim that they cannot do a good job of control. Had they informed me of this earlier in the summer I could have used round up to kill and then reseed in September. They had spilled some excess application in an area earlier in the summer a that it killed all of the grass in the area. They sent a manager out to look, which took 3 weeks. They said that they would take care of reseeding as of the 15 of September. I waited a week and then bought seed and did it myself since time was running out to fall seed. They did credit my September application due to the inconvience.

We haven't had any problems with the lawn treatments. We are not convinced that the pest control did anything but it is too soon to tell. The lawn fertilization has been fine and they do a fine job. We have no complaints on the lawn services. We will continue with the lawn services.

Overall, the experience has been very good. I’ve been using their services for about a year. I had a serious weed problem beforehand, and they were able to get that taken care of. Their price is a little on the high end, but it's worth it for the quality. My lawn looks great. The service is prompt and take the time to speak to my wife about the health of the lawn, which is incredibly helpful. I’m happy with their services.

Everything turned out just fine with this company. I have no complaints with them so far. I would use this company again.

I am pleased with their service. They even announce that they are there. This is my first time using a commerical weed-control company and I am satisfied with the results so far.

My lawn is not where I would like it to be. Their performance and professionalism is fine, but the results with my lawn are pretty average. I’ve had a lot of different advertising calls from them and as soon as you say no, they just hang up the phone.

The general manager lives two houses down from me and he doesn't say a word to anybody in the neighborhood. So, they aren't necessarily the friendliest. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are always saying something like you might get grubs or bugs, etc. So, they seem to really try to sell you more services and up-sell you.

Have had Trugreen for several years. Always had a good looking lawn and decent service until 2010, when I signed up for aeration and overseed. Kept waiting for them to come to perform the service, and gave up thinking they were not going to come. They finally show up, but it was 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. This is in zone 6a, where there had already been a hard frost. They seriously expected me to pay for an overseed when there had already been a frost and there was NO chance of the seeds germinating. Also, the "aeration" barely penetrated the ground anywhere. There were NO plugs pulled out of the ground, so no aeration. Called to complain, and they gave me the runaround and kept trying to bill me for it. I finally was able to get them to credit my account. They offered to come out and re-do it, but I declined, just wanted my account credited. A few days later I get a call from my wife saying Trugreen was outside aerating the lawn. I called up and was told that it was being done at no charge "as we discussed". Well. we DID NOT discuss that, I did NOT authorize another aeration/overseed, even for FREE. I did NOT want the same person who came out and did such a poor job and pretended to "aerate" my yard to ever set foot on my property again. Since in previous years we had not had any problems with their lawn service and always had a nice looking lawn, I let them continue to treat our lawn. This year we have noticed that the grass is looking progressively worse. Now, it has bare spots and is a pale green. Research shows that it appears to be suffering from nitrogen burn due too much fertilizer. Research also shows that there are others who have ran into this. There is a Youtube video showing a more extreme case of what is happening to our lawn. The lawns of our neighbors look great, even those with no lawn service that I am aware of, yet ours looks awful. And yes, we DID water our lawn. Actually, we have had a LOT of rain, and when it has not rained here we have watered it. We are doing the SAME THINGS we have done in past years as far as watering, etc, but our yard looks AWFUL. In addition to signs of nitrogen burn, there are weeds. What exactly are we paying for? We are disgusted with this company. It is a shame as they used to have good customer service and produce a lush, green lawn. Now, their customer service is awful and they can't even keep the weeds out of my yard. This is the last straw, we will be telling them not to come back.

. I have a very large lawn almost an acre and it is convenient for you to have somebody to do the lawn upkeep for you. They do very good work. They show up and they are very professional. I really have no complaints. They are the cheapest around here. As for responsiveness the people who show up you cannot really talk. You need to talk to somebody over the phone if you have any questions answered. If I can afford them I will use them in the future.
