SHORT AND UNSATISFACTORY.
Description of Work: TECHNICIAN CAME TO CHECK ON THE ALARM SYSTEM AND SAID THAT THE MOTHERBOARD HAD BEEN "LOCKED" AND THAT THEY COULDN'T REPROGRAM THE UNIT. HE SAID THAT THEY WOULD CALL ONCE HE HAS FILED A REPORT ON THE JOB. I HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM.

TOM BUGARIJA, THE ALARM TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO REPROGRAM THE ALARM CIRCUIT BOARD BECAUSE IT WAS LOCKED UP BY THE PREVIOUS ALARM SERVICE PROVIDER (ALERT PROTECTIVE SERVICES). TOM INFORMED THE HOME OWNER THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET THE UNLOCK CODE FROM THE FORMER ALARM COMPANY OR THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE EXISTING ALARM CONTROL PANEL FOR A NOMINAL FEE. THE CUSTOMER STATED THEY DIDN''T WANT TO DO THAT RIGHT NOW. THEY WOULD CALL ALERT PROTECTIVE SERVICES TO GET THE UNLOCK CODE. THE TECHNICIAN LOOKED FOR AND FOUND THE PREVIOUS ALARM COMPANY NAME ON THE ALARM WINDOW STICKER AND RECOMMEND THEY CALL THEM TO GET THE UNLOCK CODE. THE TECHNICIAN DID ALL HE COULD DO FOR THE CUSTOMER TO GET THEM SERVICE WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL COST OR SERVICE FEE. THE CUSTOMER WAS TO CALL US BACK IF THEY GOT THE UNLOCK CODE FROM THE PREVIOUS ALARM SERVICE COMPANY. THEY NEVER CALLED US BACK. WE WOULD BE VERY HAPPY TO COME BACK AT ANOTHER TIME AT NO CHARGE. WE ALWAYS WAIVE THE CONNECTION/SERVICE FEE FOR ALL ANGIE''S LIST MEMBERS. HAPPILY AND HONESTLY!
