Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting and Repair

This is a family business run by Bill and his son, Bill Junior. Completely reliable, responsive guys with a crew of guys who were perfect gentlemen. They came back several times more than they had anticipated and did just a perfect job that looks just beautiful. Also patched a smallish crack in my basement wall. HIGHLY recommended.

It was awesome. The crew was very friendly and performed the work in a timely manner. They cleaned up their work area very nicely too.

The estimate was reasonable. The work was professional. They took their time to make sure that the job was done right, and we were satisfied with the results. They cleaned up afterwards. We are extremely please with the results and service provided by this company! I will highly recommend them to others and will use them again on other projects.

Ken-Rich lifted the section of our front walkway that had sunken. They also caulked the area between the steps and the section they lifted. The caulk ended up going deeper than we expected, and they even made a return trip to refill the area that needed it, and check that everything looked good. We would definitely recommend them.

Ken-Rich sent 2 men to do the job on 5/13/2015. When they were finished I was concerned. In the concrete slab were 3 round holes--2 and a half inches in diameter filled with ? that did not match the appearance of the concrete. Along the area of the crack- at the base of the bottom step was what appeared to be a line of sand. As if someone had poured sand on the crack. I decided to wait and give it time. I called Kelly at Ken-Rich on 6/2/2015 and expressed my concerns. She said she would have someone look at it when they are in the area. On 6/18/2015 one of the men who performed the original work returned and offered to do a re-patch of the crack and patiently explained the process of concrete lifting that he does. Between the 5/13/2015 date of service and the 6/18/2015 date, I did further research and am convinced that it was my expectations that were out of line. This company did exactly what was advertised and promised. They were professional and courteous in responding to my concerns. For my project, I should have replaced the slab of concrete instead of raising and leveling the old slab. The concrete slab is level. The crack is patched. From Kelly in the office to the workers in the field, this company handled the whole transaction with professionalism; I appreciated the manner in which this was handled.

THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!! I called to give them details on the job and left a voice mail. Within 2 hours I got a call to set up an appointment. Ken was in the area the next day to stop over and give me an estimate, but I wasn't home. I sent him pictures of my patio and he notified me of the price. It was a lot more reasonable than my other quotes. Within 3 days, Roy and Mark showed up. I was given a window of arrival between 1-4pm. They were there at 1pm sharp. These 2 guys were GREAT! Half my neighborhood came out to see how they lifted the concrete. I had a 3 1/2 " pitch of my concrete leaning towards my house and was getting seepage. We put a 2x4 inside the space between my siding and the patio . I was able to watch, along with my neighbors how they lifted the concrete and now the 2x4 is level with the siding and patio. I couldn't believe how it was lifted. They cleaned up the excess concrete and even used a paint brush to smooth out the cement that covered the holes. Roy and Mark were personable and worked nonstop till the job was completed. They were funny and have great sense of humors. They truly were proud of their work, as I was. I can see they love their job and strive for quality work. 2 of my neighbors that were impressed with the work will be contacting Angies List to have the same thing done by Ken Rich. They were quoted double of what I was from other companies for the same job I had done with no warranty. I will highly recommend this company by the professional way they completed the job. I give them a n A++++. Thanks guys, job well done.

The crew was 2 hours late. They raised the sidewalk, filled the step and the section of the sidewalk, but did not fill the void between the sidewalk and the house. When asked about the void, the person doing the work said he was not aware of the filling of the void. When I showed him the proposal he said he could not fill it with the Gator Dust and it would have to be caulk. He filled approximately 25% of the void and ran out of caulk. He indictated that he would be back in the morning to finish the rest of the void. He did not return. I called the following Monday and was told the person had that day off, but the person talking told me he would come out himself. No one came out. The following Friday, 12/12/14, I called again and had to leave a voice message, I have not received a return call. Here are the pictures of the project as it stands at the time of this review 12/29/14.

They did a good job. Their work still looks good. They did the job in a few hours and I had no problems.

It went excellent. They came out right away, set up a price, came on time, and everything went smoothly.

The three workman arrived about 30 minutes early, which was great since the appointment was for 11:15 am. The guys were nice, very efficient and knowledgeable. When we were quoted the job, Jerry thought two holes were needed to correctly raise our sloping 4x4 step. One in the step itself and one in the step below. Mike and his crew injected the cement into the two holes then determined an additional two holes more where needed to straighten out the three steps to our front porch. The stairs look great and I appreciate the pride the crew took in their work and making sure the repair was done correctly. The crew did a great clean up; you would never know they were there. I would highly recommend Ken-Rich Concrete Raising.

This company is very professional and wonderful to do business with! I highly recommend them. They actually were able to do the work earlier than expected, which worked out great. I am having them epoxy paint my garage floor at a later date and I am also going to have them give me a bid on another house in my area.

You cannot get any better than this company! I would recommend them to anyone. Professional, friendly, reasonable, punctual, and very hard workers. I got multiple estimates and they were very reasonable. They were at my house for multiple days. They stayed until 9 p.m. with lights some nights to get it done in a short time frame for me. I hired them to do more work while they were still there and my neighbors are hiring them now too. Don't look any further.

I used Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting and Repair. They levelled out a concrete slab from the front of the house and they did a good job, this was last year. the cost of the job was $450.00. What i liked about them was that ..... there was one concrete slap which was at an angle and it was not safe as anyone going in or out could slip, so, what they did was lifted just that one slab and evened it out. they also went the extra mile and evened out the slab next to it so that they were both flat and even and they did a very good job of it too. They did more work then they quoted for which was nice. The people who worked on the job were very Knowledgeable. They didn't make me wait for more then a couple of days for a quote plus they were quick to respond. I would definitely use them in the future.

Requested an estimate on April 2nd via email and received a call the same day from Bill. They would come out the next morning to do the estimate and then canceled due to pouring rain. He was able to get out the next day on the 3rd and gave me a price of 375.00 to do the work, which I thought was very reasonable. I gave them the ok to do the work and Bill said that it would be in the next week and that I would not have to be there. I received a call the next day and Bill said they had an open time slot on the 4th and that they would take care of it. I told that I would not be able to give him a check as I could not be there and he said not to worry about it. As it turns out my wife was able to be there and pay them for the job after it was done. The crew was exceptional, they were in and out in around 2 hours and cleaned up everything. If my wife gives them high marks they have to be good! I will recommend them to family and friends and will use them again!! Bob Wood 04/15/14

Great guys. Seemed like they really aimed to please. I have some more work on my back patio and I will definitely use these guys again.

The process went well and it only took about 2 1/2 hours. The *only* thing I was concerned about was that I agreed to a proposal with Ken-Rich, but Monarch was sent out to do the work. It turns out that there is a close relationship between the two companies (the owners are brothers) and they occasionally send work to each other. Fortunately, the salesman (Jerry) called to explain what was going on (which I greatly appreciated) and I was happy with the work.

The job only took a couple of hours. They were as neat as possible throughout the time they were here. Everything looks great now.

The porch raising turned out to be much more complex than we all hoped. The crew did the best they could and did manage to get the floor level. We also had them shore up the drainage around the foundation if the house as well as installing a brick patio and sidewalk. The back patio had some issues after an extremely hard rain. I called Bill and he came out immediately and fixed the issue.

We have worked with Ken-Rich to do some mudjacking of our front porch and front steps which have sunk with age. We were very pleased with the professionalism and the rapid response from Bill who came out the following morning to provide an estimate for us. His explanation of the work to be done and documentation was clear and well articulated and we were very pleased with he and his firms responsiveness. Ken-Rich especially made us feel good as none of the other concrete firms we contacted even returned our phone calls, emails, or bothered to come out to provide us an estimate. Waiting on our tax return, we look forward to working with Ken-Rich in the near future.

There were some delays due to weather, but overall the job went smoothly.
