Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting and Repair

Incomplete. Work was done, lasted 1 year, had to be re-done, that lasted 2 years. Asked them for a quote since the warranty expired, they came to inspect and never heard from them again.

Very prompt and extremely professional. Head man was present at every step to supervise his two co workers. However, they didn’t need need any watching. My son an estimator in masonry said price was more then reasonabl

They did not show up after numerous calls and appointment.

Great, they did everything they could to make it as even as possible. They had to jack about 10 different slabs. We used them last year to lift the four corners of our garage as well and they did a great job with that too.

I called four companies that do concrete lifting. Three responded, but only two provided estimates. Of the two, I chose Ken-Rich. They responded within two hours after my Angie's List request, where the other company took several days and several messages. Had I gone with the other company, I estimate that I would have paid roughly $1,000 more than I did. It took two visits by Ken-Rich to complete the work, as it was more extensive than originally thought. This was due in part to the slab sinking after the estimator was at the house. The company was very easy to work with and they were always eagerly responsive to any question I asked. I would gladly call them again, should the need arise.

Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting repaired a very large crack in my concrete front porch steps and a stoop at the back door. All phases of the job went very well—here is a summary. All initial and follow-up calls were answered by a very pleasant receptionist who scheduled the initial assessment and quote by Bill. Bill promptly arrived at the property at the setup time where I described the repairs we sought. Bill understood that the house was part of an estate and that we sought only to do necessary repairs. He promptly provided a quote and optioned different repairs for our evaluation. On the day of the repair, I was texted that the work crew was on the way to the job site. The two gentlemen on the work crew kept me informed while the work was being done and cheerfully answered any questions I had. They finished the job in roughly four hours on a very humid day and cleaned up the job site at completion. I was very pleased with the work that was done, the cost, and the communication with Ken-Rich over the entire cycle of the job. The entire Ken-Rich team is an exemplary model for what customer service should be!

We had a couple of estimates and it took a while for Ken-Rich to get back to us with their quote. They were the more competitive bid, but we were also impressed by the knowledgeable estimator. Once we had accepted their bid, things progressed timely and smoothly. On the day scheduled we got a text advising us that the crew was on the way. They arrived well inside their schedule and performed the work efficiently and quickly. We are quite pleased with the results.

They did a great job in less time than was planned. Came when they said and are very courteous young men. I would recommend them.

The crew was very professional. They didn’t complete the project that I requested because they didn’t think I would be satisfied with the outcome. They referred me to someone who could complete the work that I was requesting. They are very honest people. They could’ve easily done the work and I would’ve been responsible for payment because I signed the contract. A company with integrity is a great company!! Thank you all for being honest!

The work went well. The men arrived on time and did a great job. The gentleman explained what he was going to do before he started. It took 2 hrs. Great job.

I really can't say enough great things about Ken-Rich Concrete. THIS is how a business should be run and others should emulate them because, if there were more companies like them in the world, it'd make being a consumer a whole lot easier. They have great people working here. Every interaction I had with the employees at this company was first class- from the folks who set the appointments and manage the process, to the actual crew, everyone was thorough and polite. Their prices are very fair and they hold themselves accountable for their work. If you need some concrete work done, stop looking any further and give them a call ASAP. Would use again in a heartbeat.

We worked with a number of different people at the company. Everyone was on the same page and communicated extremely well. From the sales person who came out for the estimate, the office staff confirming and communicating the appointment, the supervisor that stopped out several times during the job and the on-site crew working the job, everyone was nice, professional and a pleasure to work with. They showed a true interest in getting the job done right. Also very fair on price based on all the quotes we got. We will definitely refer friends, neighbors and family 100%. Portion of original work estimate not done due to natural gas valve risk involved -- price reduced accordingly. Equipment malfunction resulted in 30 - 40 minute delay. Otherwise, work was done very well. Touch-up work and clean-up were outstanding. Even with the delay, entire process only took about 3 hours.

Top notch company. The owner is very knowledgeable and great to work with. The employees are very professional and work great with all the other trades. Would highly recommend if you need help fixing your foundation or for mud-jacking concrete back into place! Also, price was much better then their competitors quotes.

Both patios raised in good condition. Few holes drilled to do it. The patio that leaned in towards the house no longer leans in and was raised back up to the original level on the step. They cleaned up after the job. The workers were both nice and professional, and came back the next day to caulk step (It would have washed out in rain that occurred later so waited until after rain to do) I would recommend them.

I was not present. The job was for making the house compliant with village regulations for sale. They pulled the permits and pushed the city to inspect and approve.

Excellent. Professional. Prompt. Worked with me to achieve solution for what we wanted to accomplish with this repair. Repair crew explained what they would be doing and answered all my questions. The worked quickly and very organized. Cleaned up as they went along, no large mess. Finished repairs are outstanding. Everything expected and more. Nice job on finishing over hole that were drilled to pump "mud" under the concrete. Great followup from office staff, friendly and professional. Highly recommend Ken-Rich Concrete Lifting and Repair. We will definately call them again for concrete work.

I didn't use them, but I would have liked to have used them. The estimate was slightly higher than I wanted to spend at the time. They are very professional the way they handle themselves. I had someone else do the job for less. I would have liked to have used him. He seemed more of an expert with his explanation of everything than the fellow I did use. I had 5 or 6 quotes. He was the most professional of the group.

It was kind of bazaar. He said he would call back, and I called back to see what the status was for the estimate. He said that it was going to cost this much for the front stoop and I said it was for the back stoop. He called me and told me that he was going to have to come back and do it again. Based on that, I decided not to use this guy. We haven't done anything with it yet. That's what we originally called him for. He didn't call a head of time, and I think he went to the wrong address. He did the front stoop instead of the back.

The 2 entrance slabs were mudjacked approximately 2 inches, to meet the adjacent slabs. The holes were 2 inches in circumference, larger than I anticipated. The remaining slabs required minimal mudjacking. The foundation corners did not require repairs, however, a crack between the patio and foundation was an additional repair. I am satisfied with the quality of work thus far. I appreciated the patio repair was completed the same day, even though it was not scheduled in advance.

The driveway was lifted and seems to be good. However, the driveway crack they repaired with the suggested caulk did not look good. Called multiple times and asked if there were any options. Receptionist was friendly and promised to have their technician call back. Never got a call back. Also, not very timely. They will eventually show up but not necessarily at the time they give.
