Description of Work: Inspection, cleaning, and tune-up of 3 Central A/C units. Chad, the service tech, was very thorough and explained the systems. The final cost was higher than The Deal mainly because freon is really expensive and one of my units was running low. The office was easy to schedule with and the tech was on-time and confirmed pricing before performing work.

Excellent- would definitely recommend at least two estimates when replacing your furnace. Be aware that usually people are in an 'emergency' mode, due to a furnace dying during freezing temps. Don't wait till then. I was lucky (?) enough to have a few weeks of unusually warm days in October.
Description of Work: J&J is a local company that invests in the community (they pick a needy family every year to donate a furnace to) After an inspection by another furnace company, I asked for a second estimate from J&J (a friend had used their services) They came in lower and had better ethics (won't get into that here) than the other company that I had a 'service contract' with.

Using Angie's list really helped - I am single, and usually rely on my friend's husband for help. They live at a distance, so it is great to read through referrals for help in choosing a reliable repair company.
Description of Work: My furnace pilot light had been out for months - I knew I would probably need at least a new thermocoupler. (My furnace is 21 years old). The JNJ tech was great - he called to let me know when he would arrive; he was polite, and told me what was wrong and needed to be replaced - a gas valve as well as the thermocoupler. He fixed the furnace, and talked to me about replacing it in future. I will probably utilize JNJ for the furnace replacement as well.

We woke up to find that our furnace was not running. We called in a different company for a service call and we learned we needed a new furnace ASAP. We wanted to get a few quotes before making a decision, and we saw that JNJ had a great special on a new 93% HE furnace. Jason came over immediately to assess the current system. He was very knowledgeable and made sure that the other companies we were looking into were straight forward with us by educating us on things to look for and ask. He reviewed with me all of the work that would be done by him and where all of the new pipes etc. would be located. I was very impressed. We however got a lower quote from a competitor, which surprised me because I thought that JNJ's price was very good!

I found JNJ on Angie's List and I am glad I did! I called JNJ to get a quote on a new blower motor & wheel after getting another quote from a different company that I thought may have been too high. The blower motor quote was much lower than the other guys. I was also impressed with the fact JNJ didn't just replace the blower wheel because I was previously told so but actaully suggested that it was fine & cleaned it out. Besides the price, the service was very quick and professional. They called me before during and after performing the service. Thank you, Graham

I was extremely pleased with them. I had a different company install the furnace years ago and used them for years for maintenance. They sent out a new guy and said I needed new parts. I called JNJ on a recommendation from my brother to look at the same problem. They looked at the blower and said it was okay. They are cheaper on the labor and also charge less for the annual maintenance so I go with them now.
Description of Work: They do the annual maintenance on my Furnace and A/C unit. I also had them install some vent fans for me previously.
