I did everything in writting and I would like to show bellow why selling coupons (man hours) is not an option for us anymore. I will just copy/paste the message exchange that I had with this member and mention that she found some time to write this unfair review but never crossed her mind to reimburse us the $50 for the materials we bought. There are people like this person who was happy to take advantage of us. I am a little disappointed in the amount of work they completed for in the 6 man hours. Additionally not sure why it took 2 of them to go to Hone Depot to purchase replacement bolts. Splash Carpentry7/25/2014 We sent 2 carpenters there to do minor repairs to a huge swing set. They basically rebuilt it from scratch. They spent 4 hours working (so we gave you 2 hours extra) and they left together to Home Depot to buy materials (which was not part of our deal as you said you will purchase the supplies). They had lunch on my time and they bought you materials as a favor, not on your time. The receipt is in your mail box. I'm also a little disappointed that instead of a "thank you" for our efforts, I am getting this message. We also took pictures just in case someone is interested. It is unrealistic to expect someone to build a huge swinset like that in 6 man hours, I am sure you already had a few estimates before purchasing the coupon. I will send you an invoice through paypal for the materials we bought. Again, the receipt is in the mailbox. [MEMBER NAME REMOVED]7/27/2014 Thank you for your response. I believe that some of your information is incorrect. Upon arrival of the carpenters I showed them what needed to be done and asked if it could be done in the allotted time. They responded it shouldn't be a problem. If this was not a realistic project for the time, they should have said so to begin with. They did not rebuild an "huge swing set" from scratch. The only part of the swing set that was done was an A frame and an overhead beam. No work was done on the tower of the swing set. I did purchase all lumber that was required. I had extra attachment pieces if they needed it. I am unable to anticipate that they would break a bolt (I realize this happens sometimes) and so NO, I did not have that ready for them. So please do not tell me I didn't live up to my end of the bargain. I have not yet received the invoice but will take care of it immediately upon receipt. No permission was granted to take any photos of my property. No permission is granted to use these photos. Thank you Splash Carpentry7/29/2014 I sent you the invoice though paypal. Reagarding the pictures: after the invoice is paid and we receive a fair review, they will be deleted. I had situations, not too many, when the customer left us a bad review claiming that the work was done poorly etc. However, I only had issues with people that bought coupons, that is why I am terminating them today.
