We first contacted Mr. Floor about re-doing our kitchen in late 2014, and we had our new kitchen by the end of October 2015. The first few months were about finalizing the design. We made our first downpayment in May, after which there was a wait of about a month for materials. For personal reasons, we scheduled the project to begin the first week of September, and work was completed in six weeks. We had used Mr. Floor twice in the past for flooring jobs and had excellent experiences. For our kitchen, the designer and assistant consulted with us extensively, provided a plan and a revised plan, suggested the new plumbing and wiring, and measured multiple times. Their knowledge and attention to detail were vast. We appreciated the choice and quality of materials on offer, which we viewed in the showroom. The designer and assistant also accompanied us to local shops to select sink, faucet, and lighting. We chose to keep our exact footprint. However, with the designer's tweaks, new materials, and new wiring and venting, our kitchen is fabulous to use and has exceeded our expectations. No big problem arose, just the occasional small one, and all were solved. The designer seemed very busy, but when we met always gave us his full attention and as much time as we needed. I could always move things along by simply phoning or e-mailing and requesting an appointment. Everyone was easy to reach and really nice to work with. Bottom line: a smooth process done by wonderful professionals all under one roof resulting in a kitchen that we love.

I met with Igor for an estimate and after meeting with a couple providers, I felt Mr. Floor had the best pricing as well as costumer service. I had the floors placed and everything went well. They worked well with my building and I am very satisfied with their work. They emailed me daily pictures as well as called me regularly to update me on their progress. The flooring looks great! I am very satisfied and would recommend them.

Excellent- estimate done clearly, promptly, professionally- date set and confirmed by supervisor, super + crew arrived promptly @ preset times. Worked incredibly hard, fast and in concert, Knew all meane to move things along with no delays. Very mindful of my wife's disability; reviewed remaining work & times each day. When completed, all aspects reviewed with us, small fixes promptly done, even 1 small thing tweaked by me in error. Supervisor walked through all work on following day and carefully asked of our satisfaction on all elements of their work. After care of new floors explained and good quantity of Mr. Floor cleaner given @ no charge, with nice promo articles (Mr. Floor/Chicago Bulls) since they do United Center floor. Recommended to me by my condo maintenance team (also excellent- Maintenance Hotline) who said, w/o hesitation "Gotta go to Mr. Floor on Oakton in Skokie!" 'NUFF said !

They are going out of their way to make sure we are happy customers, and it's deeply appreciated. Our sales fellow and the crew are all fantastic.

Mr. Floor's sales rep arrived on time on the date scheduled. We had them give us an estimate to refinish our hardwood floors in our home. Approximately 1,200 Square Feet with a staircase and closets. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had about the service they would provide. He was also very personable and was not pushy at all which was very nice. Our decision came down to a combination of price and quality. Only downside for Mr. Floor was their price much higher than the other 4 providers that we also had come quote the job. (All other providers were found on Angie's List). I would consider using them in the future on another job to see if they are more competitive in different areas of work.

Mr. Floor recommended a floating engineered hardwood floor as a viable replacement for my very old, very ugly, and very worn vinyl floor. After exploring several other options, I decided to go with their recommendation. They helped me find the type that I was looking for--hand-scraped maple, wide plank, darker stain. After I gave Mr. Floor my deposit, it took a little while for the supplier to ship the material to Mr. Floor, but it was well worth the wait. The job itself took 1.5 days, with almost no disruption to my daily routine. The job involved 4 stairs leading to the landing of the back door, as well as the landing itself. Everything was done meticulously--every cut, every board--and it looks just beautiful. I could not be happier with the final result or the process leading up to it.

I would never use them again. The experience wasn't terrible, but it was overpriced. At the price I paid, I also expected better quality. There were bubbles in the floor. They had to come back and fix that. They have so many levels of people working there -- a saleswoman who comes, a supervisor on the job and the workmen -- that I thought would be good, but it increases the price of the floors. They do a lot of big jobs, and I just thought the work would be terrific. But they had to come back a couple of times, and it was still not perfect. They were very responsive, but I had to keep calling them.

It was great! They started when they said they would start. Finished when they said they would finish. They were reachable when I needed to talk to someone. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Excellent! From the time we went to the showroom to talk to Aron until the time the floors were finished, they were friendly, professional and accommodating. They worked with us in timing the work because we had to be out of the house several days. They made sure we were 100% satisfied with our choice of stain before we left and they began the work. We expected a mess with dust because of the sanding but found our home clean when the job was done due to very careful plastic draping before the work and clean up after the work. We were assigned a project manager, Phil, who was with us every step of the process right thru an inspection we did with him upon our return. Phil also gave us a great deal of information regarding caring for our floors in the future. We would highly recommend Mr. Floor.

Project was well done from the sales visit to the installation. Both the salesman and the install foreman kept me informed as to the progress and what to expect . Debris from install was removed same day, required by my association but not always done promptly by other contractors. Added some closet baseboards with no additional cost. Install crew were prompt each day and always courteous. I would highly recommend Mr. Floor for any flooring needs.

Refinished wood floors and stairs in a dark stain. The contractor showed up as scheduled and completed the job as scheduled. Since we were living in the house through our project, it was divided into two separate time periods. We had to move furniture back and forth between rooms and could not use the stairs while the floor cured so we were able to be away on the weekends which also helped avoid the inevitable fumes. Most important, the outcome was outstanding. The floors look great, and the house was left clean with remarkably little wood dust.

The workmanship on the floor itself was below average. The project took 2 weeks longer to dry than they had expected. It was very humid that summer. The additional drying time resulted in damage such as "shoe prints" when they were checking the dryness. The crew also slopped paint on the bottom of our built-in cabinetry that could not be removed. While they gave us a small discount for the damage, we had to paint the bottoms of the cabinets to match the floor because there was no other way to remedy the situation.

They look beautiful and it only took 2 days. would highly recommend. A little expensive but worth it. very responsive and professional

Well, we had a local large appliance retailer install a dishwasher in our kitchen. Needless to say the install did not go well and the installer caused a leak in the dishwasher that ruined a portion of our wood floors in our kitchen. The retailer brought in their own hardwood repair guy to repair the floor. He did not match the color of the floor exactly. We complained to the retailer and they sent out Mr. Floor to look at the work that was done. Mr. Floor said the entire first floor had to be refinished because there are no breaks in the floor room to room. We elected to have Mr. Floor come in and sand the entire first floor down and refinish it. Mr. Floor was professional and the quality of their work was good until the end. The problem is their color match was totally wrong. We have a cherry tone to all the wood in our house. We told them to match it as closely as they could. They used a plain oak finish. We told them that our original hardwood flooring company used a blend of Gunstock and Sedona stain to get the cherry look. They made a few swatches and refused to do a Gunstock and Sedona blend saying that we would not like it. After two days of this, they insisted they liked the gunstock and golden oak blend with an attitude that we were holding up the project because we could not make up our minds and insisted with confidence that they were correct in their color match. They told us that the floor would darken over time. So my reaction was well... they are the experts I guess I have to trust them. When they were finished and we were allowed to come into the house again, I realized that the light oak finish was totally wrong and in my mind ruined the look of our entire first floor. All the wood in our house has a cherry look and finish, So now nothing matches. I called the sales person and project manager and told him that I was totally dissatisfied and they needed to redo the floors to get my house back to they way it was. He came over and tried to tell me for 30 minutes that the color I was seeing was not what I was seeing and he thought it matched. Basically trying to get us to agree that he was right so he did not have to redo the project. He said he would talk to his superior and that person would respond. He responded via email and told us that we approved the color and it was our problem. So now I am completely angry and do not know what to do. I spent 30,000.00 dollars on my floors to get the look I wanted and Mr Floor ruined it completely and will not do anything about it. In the end, I would have been better off not using Mr Floor. They are professional until they screw up the project then then disappear.

They did excellent work and had a very nice attitude. They were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry. There was a lot of good customer interaction and support.

Their service was excellent. I would highly recommend them. Their work was amazing and they cleaned up after themselves each day. Their price was slightly higher than other estimates I received, but it was well worth it for the quality of the product and service. Their price was very fair. They originally estimated treating more of the floor than they actually did. They made sure to adjust the final cost and remove those charges. I cannot say enough good things about their service. I would recommend them to anyone and I continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

It didn't go anywhere. When we said we were interested in the appliances they carry the person on the floor couldn't help and put us into voice mail. We never heard back. We came into the show room (which is very nice) and again asked for help. The appliance and cabinet person were not there. We left a message. I made a final call/message again. No response -- that was 2 weeks ago.
