As a long-time member of the National Wood Flooring Association, (NWFA) Mr. Floor specializes in custom hardwood floor installations, sandings, staining, refinishing, and repairs. Description of Work: They installed hardwood flooring in the living room, porcelain tile in the kitchen/foyer/hallway, and carpeting in two bedrooms. The project went well. The project manager kept me informed while the installations took place and was responsive to my questions and needs. The installers were polite and professional and did a a very good job, not only in installing the products but also in the clean up afterwards.

Description of Work: Refinished oak floors on most of our first floor. Installed oak steps from first floor to lower level. Everything about them was first rate and highly professional. Cost was higher than other estimates, but worth the difference.

THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE AN 87-YEAR-OLD, NEGLECTED OAK FLOOR LOOK ALMOST NEW. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT LOOKS. IT TOOK ONE WEEK FOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED SECTIONS, SANDING, STAINING AND APPLYING TWO COATS OF POLY.

ORIGINAL WORK WAS DONE VERY BADLY. FLOORS HAD STREAKS AND BARE PATCHES WITH NO POLISH. MADE THEM COME & REDO IT. IT IS IMPROVED, BUT STILL AREAS THAT LOOK BAD. AT THAT POINT, WANTED THEM OUT OF MY HOUSE SO DID NOT MAKE THEM REDO IT A 3RD TIME. WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE A DIFFERENT FIRM REDO THE FLOORS.
