They cleared out the tub and after several attempts, told my wife that the problem with the toilet was caused by an obstruction that they couldn't clear. They said it might be in the toilet itself and the entire toilet may have to be replaced. We haven't had any problems since though. Overall, my wife thought they did a good job.

Other then the owner forgot our initial appointment to discuss what I wanted done, the project went very good and was completed to my satisfaction and in a timely fashion. The parts seemed a little expensive.

The contractor was scheduled to arrive at our house between 4:00 and 5:00PM. We have small kids, and at 5:25 I called to inquire about his whereabouts, as we were ready to sit down to dinner. The operator said he was "caught in traffic," even though their office is less than 3 miles from our house. The guy showed up five minutes later, and offered a grudging apology for being late, only after I pointed out that we actually had our dinner on the table and were sitting down to eat. Without asking if we'd like to re-schedule, he asked to see the basement. I gave him a walk through, and he spoke in general terms about what might be required. He spent about ten minutes in the basement, but said he would have to come back after the ceiling was torn out to give an official bid (this was in progress at the time). He told me to call him in "when the work was done." He was nice enough, and would've come back if called I'm sure, but after him showing up late & not even making his bid, we went another way.

MD Plumbing was very responsive. They returned my calls right away and Mark was able to give an estimate over the phone based on my description of the problem. The estimate ended up being almost exactly what we paid. I called them on Tuesday and the work was completed by Thursday morning. They gave a window of time the plumbers would arrive. That morning, they called ahead and said they were in the area and could get the work done before the window of time allotted. The work was completed in half an hour.

I called at 6 p.m. because my toilet was clogged and I had overnight company coming. The basement pipes were making a coughing sound which usually precedes backup. Marc told me he would send 2 men around 8:30 the next morning. They arrived at about 8:45, introduced themselves, and spent a long time struggling to clear the toilet--it finally worked. They then replaced the lever-flush-valve connector which I had been jerry-rigging with huge safety pins in order to flush the toilet. They checked downstairs pipes by opening up the access point and watching the outflow which looked OK. They cleaned up and left everything in order, overall were very polite. Not having had to deal with a clogged toilet before or replacement parts, I can't comment with much expertise on the price. $188.00 did not seem unreasonable, especially considering the time they spent on the job.

Very responsive and were able to fit us in next day. Called on Wednesday afternoon and they were able to come out next morning at 9:30 am. Arrived on time and worked quickly. Their service call charge ($130) includes 1/2 of labor. Job was done in less than 30 minutes.

They came on time. Completed the work. Cleaned up. Were professional.

They have done numerous other plumbing jobs for me in the past. I like that they are very responsive. They pick up the phone themselves and they will come as soon as they can. They really know what they are doing and they do it well.

Overall it went very well. They came in on time and did the job as described. They were very professional. The final charge was exactly as estimated over the phone. They were also very accommodating with the scheduling of the project.

They are very efficient, pleasant and polite to have around. The estimate was right on, was better than others we had. This work was done in an eight suite condo.

Two of MD Plumbing's employees showed up exactly on time and Mark stopped by soon after they began work to make sure all was well. Replacing a water heater is a messy job and the two workers cleaned up very well when the job was finished. The last step of the job is to check that the heater's exhaust vents properly and they noticed that it was not. This is not the realm of a plumber, but an HVAC professional, so they called an HVAC company to consult and they resolved the issue. I was very pleased with the result.

Spoke with Mark, the owner. Assistance was needed to bring in the heater. I'm glad that I was here when they came to install, as it looked like there might be some issues with the installation. They answered the questions that I asked. Maybe they could have used one more person to help them get the heater in the house, but the job still got done.

They responded quickly to our phone call. Were professional and timely. They did a great job and while the work they did cost more then original quote it was half of what another plumber had quoted us. The workers were very friendly. They tried to keep our carpets clean, though a tarp would have been more helpful. We definitely plan to use them again, if needed.

They were very reasonable. They were very positive. They were very prompt. They arrived on time when they said they would. Their price was reasonable and competitive.

They arrived on time to do the work asked of them. The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. I would recommend them. They were professional.

Mark was very professional and upfront from the first call. He was running a bit late and called before to tell me so (ended up showing up about 20 mins. late). Completed the work in about 2.5 hours and showed me extent of problems. He honored a discount since I couldn't commit to rodding the main sewer during this visit. He and his assistant even gave me suggestions for upcoming gutter and downspout repairs. Very honorable and trustworthy.

Kitchen drain stopped on a Sunday. I spent 4 hrs trying to open the drain using a hand powered snake I bought, a plunger, an air blaster (also purchased) and as a last resort overnight Drano. Drain still totally plugged in AM. I found this company in Angies List and called Marc around 9:30A. Two guys came as expected at 1:00P. They checked the grease trap and found no prob that would affect the draining. Then, they manually drained out the Drano and ran a snake through the pipe. This took a little time as the line seemed totally full of grease. Then, they ran a lot of hot water through the line to flush out debris and ensure that some piece of debris did not replug the line. The guys were clean and neat and a pleasure to work with.

Marc was responsive to my call and had someone to my house within a few hours. The job turned out to take much longer than they had thought, due to the clog and drain replacement, but they stayed and finished the job. They are polite, responsive and reasonable in price.

We called at 9:00 am, they were there by 3:00 pm, within their estimated time frame and were done by 4:30. They had to run the rodder through the line twice. Cleaned up the area around the access pipe when done. The guys were pleasant, never hesitated about answering questions and didn't try to convince me I needed anything more than just a rodding out.

Dave and Sean showed up, turned off the water, took a look at what they were going to need and left for supplies. Marc then phoned to say that because of the size of the parts the estimate may be $100 or so more. When Sean and Dave returned they ended up trying to turn off the water from the street because the water turn-off valve in the basement wasn't holding. After about 45 minutes of trying to make the street valve budge they came up with plan B. They would install a new, more reliable valve above the old one, THEN install the new "copper compatible" nipple above that. Marc showed up to check on their progress and drop off another part. They did an excellent job and my invoice clearly showed what I was charged for.

Crew worked hard and steady. Very knowledgeable of plumbing. Courteous and clean.

We had been told by another plumber that the problem was with both the plumbing as well as the dishwasher and that we would have to call two separate workers -- a dishwasher repairman as well as a plumber. We were glad that MD Plumbing was able to fix the problem without having to schedule another visit from another repairman. However, I have had MD Plumbing come out on two occasions now and both times two people come and we are charged labor for two people. The cost seemed high for work that only took 45 minutes, but the dishwasher has been fine ever since.

He was on time and reasonable. He also corrected some poorly done pipe work under the sink that was causing back ups and leaks. Good job.

Mr. Duvall came out to inspect the situation the basement. There was a leak where the kitchen pipe goes into the basement. He suggested that we just abandon the old system and drop the kitchen piping into the main line. He came out a few days later and performed the work with his crew.

They not only tell you everything that need to be repaired but they tell you what does not need to be repaired.
