We’ve used MD Plumbing for multiple things over the years and always appreciated their attention to detail, promptness, and fair price. They also recently solved a mystery odor coming from a new sink/faucet install that our contractor couldn’t figure out. I so appreciate that they hung in there with me until we found the source!

We've been using MD Plumbing since the early 2000s, and they have never let us down. From the condo we owned and now in the house we're renting, they have always responded to our calls and scheduled us ASAP. Their customer service is top-notch, and they always get the job done. These guys are pros. I have been using them for years because they always get the job done, no matter what it is, charge a fair price, are super respectful of my property, clean up after themselves, and are good people. I definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs.

The service was excellent, but he was not very punctual.

The pros at MD Plumbing & Sewer were great. We had an emergency with sewage backup and they arrived within hours. They rodded out to the main sewer line, which solved the problem. They've come out multiple times over the past 13 years for plumbing and sewer issues and have always come through. They will continue to be our first call.

Marc Duvall and his employee, Greg are incompetent with installing a pedestal sink. Greg first attempted the installation and the result was sink that was not level. When I commented that the sink appeared unleveled, Greg and Chris, the other employee present, attributed the slanted sink to the unevenness and irregularities of the sink surface. After they left, I read the Kohler sink instructions and realized that Greg did not use the provided leveling pads or attempt to use a level. The owner, Marc dismantled the sink and attempted the reinstallation. On the second attempt, the sink is slightly more level, but now the pedestal is off-centered from the sink basin, and the sink drain leaks. Marc did not remove the pedestal (Greg had caulked it to the floor on the first installation attempt) when he reinstalled the sink on the second attempt. He cut corners on this installation and that has resulted in a pedestal sink that is off-centered and misaligned. In addition, the sink basin is not properly supported by the pedestal; it is held up by a stack of coins at one point of contact. I've written emails and spoken to Marc about this incompetent and negligent pedestal sink installation. I have asked for a refund of $450 (equivalent to his 3 hours of labor that he spent on the reinstallation). I have received no refund from him. I have filed consumer complaints with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General and with the BBB of Chicago & Northern Illinois.

They are excellent and make every effort to get here the same day you call. They are thorough, clean up, and we would highly recommend them.

Never showed up for the scheduled work. Never called to apologize or reschedule. Ended up just being wasted time.

Marc replaced the old natural gas valve that feeds our stove with a new ball valve. Having dealt with a few other plumbers recently, MD the best we've experienced in terms of professionalism, quality, and price. I plan on using MD for all our future plumbing needs.

Arrived on time and charged by the hour. Courteous and worked efficiently. Billed as estimated and would absolutely hire again.

It went great. From the moment I first called and spoke to Kim in the office they were able to meet my needs of prompt service. They installed within 2 days. The price I paid was great and the men who came were very professional and they even cleaned up when done. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Excellent. While we have used this service in the past with great results, we had a young plumber whom we did not know assigned to our call. Turns out, any fears we had of "not enough experience" were totally unfounded. Chris did a terrific job, worked diligently on the task, left the site immaculate, was very attentive to every detail. He bid the job correctly, and that's exactly what we paid. (Much less than we originally thought it would be). MD Plumbing is terrific.

Other companies wanted to charge me $5000 and to install a new sub-pump. MD Plumbing saw that the issue could be cleared through routing the line. They were able to take care of the sewer line at a fraction of the cost. They're the only plumber I'll use.

I'm stingy with 5 star reviews (not everybody can be the best or it wouldn't mean anything), but this small company deserves every one of the five. Based on my experience with them, they are honest, efficient, and responsive, charging very reasonable rates. Marc came when he said, and did not waste time, He realized he needed a specialty part, which turned out to be very expensive, so I decided to just buy a new faucet. Marc came on time and efficiently installed the faucet. He also made a repair to my bathroom pipes, but explained that I would eventually need to get the whole thing replaced. I want to mention Kim, too; she's so nice. My life is a little complicated right now, so I needed some extra attention. Kim was very helpful and so patient with me and my many calls. She even returned calls when she said she would, which is rare these days.

The work went well. I like how they come and explain things to me. They seem to enjoy the work they do, and it shows.

This provider is great, I would give him all As. Always responsive and professional. and on time. Anytime we have issues we always call them, great attitude and very reliable, along with this their pricing is also great.

We have had service calls from a few different plumbers that work for this company and they have all been extremely competent and sympathetic (which is especially nice when sewers are backing up into basements). They go the extra mile, they take a fair-minded approach to everything they do, and they stand by their work. Highly recommended (obviously).

I have nothing but good things to say about M&D Plumbing. Our home was built in the 1920's and needs various repairs every so often. They are thorough and they cleaned up better than what it looked like before

Of course the problem came up on the Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend. Called my usual plumber and a whole bunch of others and the handful of plumbers who were working were already swamped with work and everyone else was (rightfully) taking the weekend off. Called MD Plumbing (Marc) as I was going through the list of highly-rated plumbers on Angie's List and he was willing to come out Sunday morning to fix the situation. This faucet has been a problem in the past and, unlike prior plumbers, he flagged a better long-term solution (better quality washer than any prior plumbers had used). The work was done well, he was easy to communicate with, and I now have a new go-to plumber. Thanks, Marc!

The two gentlemen were very professional and knowledgable with every issue and were pretty straight forward. The leak was not a leak just the pipes sweating from the air being on and they recommended to get a covering for it. Facet issue just needs to be replaced with a new one. The hot water issue was not resolved because I have some special water heater device that only certified technicians can operate so they were generous enough to give me a contact that deals strictly with operating the device.

Team came same day after I discovered water dripping from kitchen ceiling fan. They quickly determined that upstairs bath tub system had leaks. Identified numerous leaks and repaired. Have been using MD Plumbing for 8+ years - they are always responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

They were superior, they listened to my tale of woe. They were willing to send two plumbers out. Their office staff was superior. The owner Marc Duvall was willing to help me get this installed the next day. I had been without hot water for over a month. I was unable to find a reasonable plumber to install the new water heater at a reasonable price. Installers were professional had sense of humor and were in and out within 2 hours. They disposed of the old hot water heater. Would definitely use them again.
