They were very nice. They were very cooperative and professional. They did a good job. The first motor was a little noisy and I told them so they came back and installed a new motor without any fuss. They had coupons and the mechanic did not accept it but the owner gave me credit for the $17 coupon. The owner, Eric, was very nice.

Eric provided excellent service. I had a late night emergency that he came over and took a look at. The board went out on my cheap furnace, and we determined that I would need a new furnace because this one was out of warrantee. The next day I had a new variable speed furnace installed. He was very good with his pricing! I am very impressed with the priority that I felt Residential Heating and Cooling gave to me. I will continue to use them for a long time to come. It went very well. Eric was great to come out on the same evening and save us from a freezing night. Will call him again if we need HVAC work in the future.

Eric was punctual. He cleaned the furnace and gave me recommendations on how to prolong the life.

There were no troubles with scheduling and everything went very smoothly. He was punctual to the appointment and went into great detail about what was going on. The work was fine and he answered my questions. Everything was put back where it belonged and he cleaned up before leaving. Everything turned out fine.

He is such a great guy. He is wonderful and honest. If I need somebody to come help me for like plumbing or whatever, I will call him up for recommendation and he will call me within an hour. He is excellent. He works with me with pricing and stuff. He is trustworthy and you don’t find very often. I am always recommending him to anybody.

On a record breaking cold and snowy,very early (4:30 am) Sunday morning I woke up to a cold house. At first I panicked, but after I gathered my wits, I I turned my kitchen sink on to a drip and .went to my computer to check Angie's List for a furnace service company, thinking it would be very expensive because of being Sunday. I decided on Eric's company and called, leaving a voice mail. He replied and said he'd call back in a few hours to make an appointment., which he did. In between, I was fooling around with the thermostat and furnace--turning them on and off. I was very surprised when it turned on and stayed on. When Eric called me back, I told him what had happened and he said,that since it wasn't an emergency, he would send someone out on Monday--which was fine with me. It was still working when Chris came and proceeded to check every every possible thing. There seemed to be nothing wrong, except that I needed to use a filter that allowed exaust air to exit more easily. I had bought an Angie's List $71. coupon for a furnace tuneup and cleaning, which was accepred for payment. I went out and bought the correct filter, put new batteries in the thermostat. Every thing was fine all week--until very early(again) Sat. morning. This time, I couldn't get it to turn on. I called Eric , who came out and agreed that the furnace seemed fine, but the thermostat needed to be replaced. He had one in the truck, installed it and the furnace has been working just fine ever since. He told me he wouldn't charge me for installing it--just the cost of the thermostat. I was very lucky to to pick them. There couldn't have been better customer service--even though I was a new customer.and it was a weekend. It was a VERY good experience!

The owner came out first and he was wonderful. He figured out the problem right away and was straight-forward with what needed to be done. He told me about long-term suggestions, but didn't pressure me to spend a ton of money that day. He didn't have the tools with him to clean the unit, but sent someone else over within the hour to get the job done.

The initial finding was that my ignition switch had burned out. Residential opened up the unit only to find that the furnace had more problems then just a faulty ignition switch. They showed me that some of the welds on the interior of the furnace had cracked and could possibly be leaking, which could be hazardous. After finding out that my furnace had some major problems, Residential was able to install a new unit quickly and professionally even though it was the middle of the Thanksgiving weekend. I felt that they were very upfront and honest with me throughout the entire process. I could not have been more pleased with their service. Residential will definitely be my "go to" HVAC company from here on out!

They were excellent. They worked on our furance, and let us know that it would need to be replaced, after trying to restore it. We purchased a new furnace through them.They quoted us a price for the furance and stuck to that price. No matter how long the process took, the price did not go up. They were very neat and well mannered and just pleasant to work with.

Eric was punctual, professional, informative and considerate of our carpeting and flooring by using shoe covers and plastic runners for the stairs and basement. We didn't make a decision on the first visit and, surprisingly, Eric was the only one who followed up to answer additional questions. We liked the fact that he is the owner, who was also involved with the installation.

We knew our old furnace wasn't functioning properly, but didn't know why or how bad it really was. Previously, companies came in and 'fixed' the problem, and nothing more. Residential Heating and Cooling took the time to look over the entire system, from furnace to exhaust to air conditioning to vents, and explained to us why it was working at capacity but not cooling/heating the house properly. They also noticed air flow issues and improper installation of pipes and vents - all things our home inspector should have noticed when we purchased the home. Suddenly, everything made sense. They wrote up an estimate, giving us three options, all varying in price and effectiveness. The owner laid everything out, was very open, but let us make the final choice. They removed the old furnace and air conditioner, installed the new units and humidifier, and replaced pipes and vents so flow was correct. The house was left neat and tidy upon their completion. The thermostat was slightly damaged when they installed it, so they came out later with a new one. They also came back a week later to check that everything was functioning properly. Previously, our furnace would run almost 24/7, trying to keep up with temperatures outside. Now, we barely hear it turn on and our house is still comfortable. The old furnace also whined terribly every time it kicked in (every 30-60 minutes). Now-no noise! Residential Heating went above and beyond in their service. We signed up for their cost-effective maintenance plan to make sure the unit remains clean and continues to function properly. I highly recommend their services.

Our ten plus year A/C unit had seen its last day during the hottest stretch of weather. Eric quoted us a price that was fair and even found a rebate for us. He also credited his work for a previous service call. The installer arrived on time and did a great job with the installation and sheet metal work. They even had to work in my 2 foot high crawl space where the old a-coil was. We installed new a-coil in furnace room with new furnace. They didn't have replace our old lines, just had to modify them. All work was completed in a day. Overall it was great experience and I feel like we received a fair deal. I will add that he was the only HVAC company to come out the next day. Every other company wanted a lot of money to come out even though it would be another week. Great experience. Would recommend them to family and friends.

After our HVAC system went down for the 3 straight year we decided not to mess around with repairs again and replace the 12 year old system that was installed when the house was built. Once we made this decision to replace the system we hoped on Angie's List to find a handful of people to get quotes from. I started calling companies on a Thursday morning. Eric was the only one to be willing to come out to view our system the same day. All others pushed us to Monday or Tuesday the next week. With the hot weather coming we where not too happy having to wait to get our system. Upon Eric's arrival to quote our system he had already taken the time to run our house through Bryant's load calculator and came in with the information printed for our reference. He then proceeded to take a look at our old equipment and discuss with me what we were looking to get from the new system. We had issues with temperature variation in the house year round and humidity removal. For the temperature variation Eric started by explaining how to set the dampers that we already had in our house to help this situation. He also suggested leaving the fan on all the time to circulate the air better when the AC or heat isn't running. Eric's quoted us both a high efficiency evolution system and a standard efficiency system. In addition to the efficiency he also noted that the evolution system controller and equipment would allow for cost effective continuous running of the fan and humidity removal control. On getting Eric's quote we told him we needed to get others for comparison but wanted to know availability to install once we decided. Eric was going on vacation the following Wednesday but let us know that if we choose him before he left he would make sure we at least had AC running while he was gone. I continued to work to try and get additional quotes ASAP, but the earliest I got anyone in was Monday morning. After that morning quote, we decided to forgo any further waiting for quotes and gave Eric a call on Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning Eric was at our door at 7:00 am with his team ready to get started and had our system blowing cold air before he left for vacation. They did have to return to do additional work, including fixing a static pressure issue that the evolution controller indicated, but that all waited with us nice cool till he returned from vacation. Upon returning from vacation Eric schedule to bring in another person to help in identifying the cause of our static pressure issue and come up with a solution. After looking over everything and doing some calculations they found that while our return drop to the furnace had plenty capacity the central line feed was short by they equivalent of a 12 inch tube. The solution suggested was to add a new floor return in the corner of our dinning room and 12 inch special return line connecting to the drop. While adding a hole to the floor wasn't the greatest, the solution has worked great and system runs quieter than ever. All in all Residential Heating and Cooling's team was great. Did wonderful work and Eric was great to work with. Mini Review of the equipment recommended and installed: The Bryant equipment has been great so far. Everything is incredibly quiet. I didn't even realize how loud our previous system was till this system turned on and I could tell it was on without putting my hand over a vent. The high efficiency AC has a bigger size than the old system, but runs with little noise. In fact I can hear our neighbors system more than our own. Humidity removal in summer has been nothing less than amazing. When the system first started I really wanted the humidity out and comfort so set the humidity control to it lowest value of 46%. They system quickly got to the 46% and then pulled the moisture down to around 30% through just normal operation. I then realized I didn't need to push the system, but rather leave it at the normal 52% mid range setting for humidity and since I haven't had a feeling of being too humid or too dry. Efficiency- We have only had one electric bill since the system was installed and it was an incomplete month as it started a few days before the system was installed. I did also do a self meter read and check on the daily usage. My calculations are showing around a 35% reduction in electrical usage during a pretty warm period of time. The efficiency is not enough to justify the added cost for us, but it is a nice savings while giving us the comfort we desired when purchasing the system.

I had several estimates before I called Residential Heating. Eric was out of town when I first called, but as soon as he returned he called and set up an appointment. He was very knowledgeable about his craft. My son who is also in heating and AC attended the appointment and was very impressed with Eric. He said I should forget the others and hire Eric, which I did. He and his crew did an excellant job. There was one little problem, and as soon as I called he was there in a few minutes to fix the issue. I would definitely use his services again, my son has already recommended him several times. His pricing was very fair, which I could not say about some of the other estimates. I don't think you can go wrong hiring Residential Heating to do your work.

Eric, the owner, has been great to deal with. This is the 2nd time I have used his services & I just signed up to have his company do yearly furnace & A/C tune-ups for my rental units. Today, the technician sent to do the 5 A/C tune-ups, Chris B, was punctual, highly professional & pleasant. He was knowledgeable about the work he was doing. I appreciated how careful he was when carrying his equipment through the halls of the condo bldgs. I would highly recommend Residential Heating & Cooling.

overall- perfect! no glitches, just a smooth transition from my 20 year old unit to my brand new one.

I had the company out to fix what I thought was a broken water heater. Turns out I wasn't lighting the pilot correctly. It was an expensive lesson in Pilot Lighting 101 but they fit me in during an extremely busy post-flooding weekend when other companies could not. The technician arrived at the promised time and took the time to explain what the issue was. Would definitely call again the next time I have a "real" problem with heating or AC.

I started to do business with Eric many years ago before he actually got his new and prosperous business off the ground. I needed someone dependable and someone who was available. Back then I found him on Craigslist and after my first interaction with him I knew I had found a dependable, well educated HVAC guy who would be servicing all my home HVAC equipment. Since then, I've seen his company grow and where most people lose their customer service edge when they are confronted with a growing business, Eric has not. Still to this day (I spoke to him about some work last week) he's got great customer service and always answers his phone with a smile on his face. Arrived as scheduled, completed work in one day

The old furnace was so old that was falling apart. RHA advised not to repair as it was way above its useful life. (old one lasted 42 years). They give a reasonable price for a replacement, and did a fast installation the next day. Very good communication alone the process, they were on time and did all the work to the specs. They wend above and beyond what I usually get from contractors, so highly recommended. (I don't compliment many contractors)

Eric responded to our initial inquiry in a timely manner & he answered our questions. He also emailed us details of the service we were considering so we could review. We set up an appt & he was right on time (actually a few mins early). He was very professional, pleasant & knowledgeable. He inspected, tested & cleaned our furnace. He also took time to explain how the system functioned which was quite helpful.I look forward to dealing w/ Eric in the future & would highly recommend him to others.
