Description of Work: Steve came out to look at my leaking skylights. Very professional and friendly. The work was completed within 72 hours. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Description of Work: Steve replace my roof last spring (2014). We also had our siding replaced last summer by a different company. We have had no problems up until this latest round of storms (April 2015). We came home from a vacation to find wet walls and floors on the second floor of our house. Called Steve and called our siding company. Steve was first to respond and came out and took a look to see if there was any problem with the roof. The roof checked out just fine and he even took a look at the siding. Neither were the cause of the problem. Most people would just leave at that point and say good luck. Not Steve. He went up in the attic, cut into some drywall (with permission) and took off a gutter and got to the bottom of the problem. I now know exactly what caused the leak thanks to Steve. Even though it wasn't something that his company caused, he went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly what the problem was and was willing to stand behind the work of his company 100%. I can recommend this company with absolutely no reservations.

Description of Work: We found mold in our attic when a bathroom exhaust fan was being replaced. I talked to several companies both for mold remediation and to have the insulation in my attic upgraded. I concluded that the best course of action was to have both jobs performed by one company rather than use one comapny to remediate and another to do the insulation work. Many mold remediation companies provide an extended warranty, but there can be an issue if there is improper venting and sealing when you have the insulation done by a separate company. | |Steve Case and his team are great to work with. I have done other remodel/repair projects with our house, and I think the key is to find a company that is good at dealing with the inevitable "surprise" that pops up when a major project like this is undertaken. In our case, he not only performed the mold remediation, but also addressed the improper venting issues that were causing the problem in the first place. I would definitely recommend Steve and Preferred for any home project.

He arrived on time and was extremely professional in explaining their services, guarantees, and what would be done to complete the job successfully. I did not use them because I received a price of more than $1000 less than his. Also the other contractor was recommended by two different people and has an "A" rating on Angie's list.

Description of Work: Rick the salesman was very easy to work with. The only problem was the roof leaked the day after it was installed. Preferred had someone come out the next day and fix the problem but it shouldn't have happened.

Description of Work: Had a roof and our gutters replaced by this company after hail storms came through the area. I found them on Angie's List and the many good reviews swayed me. With so many other people getting new roof's in the area due to the hail I expected to have to wait awhile before they would come out. However, shortly after they came to the house for the initial estimate they called and said they would be able to come out in a few days. Work was completed in one day and no mess to speak of was left behind.

They worked with my insurance company and the work was done within 2 weeks of Steve's first visit to my house. Preferred was recommended by a friend after they had great service from him. They found him on angies list.I would use him again and recommend him to anyone who asks.

Description of Work: We called PRE to get a quote for re-roofing our home, as we were told by a new home-owners insurance co. we were considering, that the roof will not be insured by them if it is more than 20 (or maybe `15 ?) years old. We not sure howl old the roof is but it is more than 20 yrs old. Mr Charlie Hersey of PRE inspected our roof and told us, the roof is in excellent shape and you don't need to replace it, and there is nothing to fix. We were absolutely amazed and very grateful to Charlie this unusual and frank and honest assesment by a service provider ! it is so refreshing and exceptionally rare to find someone with such integrity ! furthermore, there were a couple of small holes he noted on the gutters and he fixed them on the spot. Charlie refused to accept cash I tried to give him for the small repairs ! We will definitely keep his card on hand and in a future when we require any roof work we will call on Charlie. We also will inform our friends about our experience and encourage them to use a service provider who is so professional and honest.
